Great IR doctor. Hopefully never have to seem him again, but if I ever needed anything in the future, he would be the first doc I'd reach out to.

Best doctor, very helpful with good experience. He does outstanding job.

they send bills that are suppose to be paid by medicare to collections without ever calling you.

The emergency room is a joke. I'm not familiar with the rest of the hospital, but the short mexican woman at the desk named Christina is rude, uncompassionate , and completely inconsiderate. There was an overflow of patients when my mother arrived in an ambulance and was shoved out into the waiting room. When I went to the desk to ask about it christina laughed at me and spoke to me as if I was a child. Never NEVER again will i return. The emergency room is a joke. I brought my brother in to the ER and spent less than 5mins in the waitting room. They were prompt in getting him in the back and start labs and test. He was admitted to the ICU over night. Pam was his over night nurse she was awesome with being help and Marla was the nurse who took over in the morning. They were both great! We absolutely loved Marla and how friendly and social she was! Dr. Sewall saved my wife's life. Over the years my wife has had several stents put in. As time went on she was fine. But, over the last year she was having pain in her thighs and calves. Some one recommended we see Dr. Sewall. He has trained and practiced at John Hopkins University. With credentials like this I figured why not give him a chance. Well, he examined my wife and sent her for some kind of test, I don't remember what it was called. About a week later we went back to see him. He told us that my wife's aorta in her heart was blocked and she could die at any minute. He sent us to the hospital and he put a stent in her heart. Upon waking in recovery my wife said her legs didn't hurt anymore. She has been fine since. This month he said he wants to follow up with another test at the hospital and a visit with him. How can you find a more qualified doctor than this. I will praise him for the rest of my wife's life. I thank God and him every morning when I wake up.

I had a terrible experience in their ER. I had an infection in my hand, saw an ER doc for literally one minute, he said "you need to see a hand specialst for that," and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. Fine, the next day I saw a hand specialist at another hospital who fixed it. A few weeks later, LaGrange Memorial sends me a bill for $900, and they insisted on getting paid the full amount even after I told them it was way too much!!! I strongly recommend goint to Elmhurst Memorial instead of LaGrange Memorial. I had a terrible experience in their ER. Been going to this hospital for years, as has my whole family. That will definitely never happen again. Disgusted with the way we were treated as parents of a 12 yo child we brought in for help. Nurses were as always very helpful and comforting, Dr. Martinez was inhumane and after his many threats made to my wife about calling DCF and the hospital attorneys and the police thankfully his shift ended and another doctor relieved him and we were able to leave after spending 12 hours in the ER. Never has my family ever experienced this kind of treatment by a doctor, especially not by someone calling them calling themselves a doctor of medicine while only checking in my child 2 times in the 8 hours he was assigned to her care. If I was the patient I wouldn’t have cared, but this was my 12yo child. Will not let this go. He needs to be removed or go back to school to be taught manners, and not just bedside manners, manners in general. He is not God and shouldn’t act like one that holds all the cards. I hope you read this Martinez, I wish you the same agony and discomfort you attempted to give my wife and me. Luckily for you I am a man that put his child’s well being before acting on an impulse or that night wouldn’t of went well for you either. You needlessly kept us there for 12 hours and you know it. I hope someone who is in charge of this person working there reads this and reviews his actions. I can be easily reached if they have any questions. I wouldn’t even give it a one star. Dr Sewall's interventional radiology procedure probably saved my life. His follow up continues to be caring and encouraging.
