Dr. Ranjana Chauhan

I visited her at the Duly location in Hinsdale. Her bedside manner is absolutely deplorable. Her tone is condescending, and there’s no semblance of humanity or understanding from her. If you can, see a different ophthalmologist.

I visited Dr. Chauhan office because I’d been experiencing blurry and cloudy vision, even after receiving corrective eye glasses. Dr. Chauhan and her staff are the most unprofessional and incompetent “medically” trained individuals I’ve ever met. Dr. Chauhan stated that she detected cataracts on both eyes which appeared to have been there 5 years. When I asked what should be the next course of action, she said go home and get some glasses, and they may treat it if it gets worse. Her demeanor and attitude suggested that I someone who was not worthy of medical treatment. I’ve been a patient with the DuPage medical group for 15 plus years. I will now seek medical advice from someone outside of the Duly group.

I have a few different eye issues so I thought it would be a good idea to go to an ophthalmologist instead of an optometrist for my eye exam. Her eye exam involved a technician (not an optometrist and was obviously not well informed) taking my eye exam with her coming in to approve it, very briefly which raised red flags for me. The prescription was completely wrong and I had to go to lensecrafters to get my prescription fixed. Wasted a ton of my time and money as I bought glasses with the improper prescription. . I don't think there would be an angel like Dr. Ranjama Chauhan. I had an urgent eye issue on Sunday (weekend) where all clinics are closed. My doctor called her and she appeared on time to examine my eye.I do appreciate what she did.
