Please don’t trust this dentist. She ruined my mouth and it will never be the same. I was having pain after having a tooth pulled,thinking there may have been damage or just root exposure to the neighboring tooth I regrettably went back to see her. Annoyed, She numbed my mouth and told me it was probably just loose bone fragments and she would take them out. After removing a few she began tugging at large piece more in a different place. I motioned for her to stop and she said she almost had it and numbed me more then a second later I felt a snap and felt like I was punched in the face. She had broken the small bone around my front teeth and one Of my healthy teeth fell over onto my tongue. She stitched my bottom teeth together and put in some plastic type material and walked out without a word leaving the assistant to show me what it looked like. No explanation or talk with her at all.For a year I was in pain back and forth to a oral surgeon that was helping her out free of charge but unfortunately he could not save my tooth and additionally lost the tooth next to it as well because of the bone damage. I had 3 implant surgeries as well but they didn’t take. she did give me partials in the meantime but with every surgery I needed a new set. After getting my records and realizing she completely lied about what happened in the visit. She stated my tooth was loose from the previous extraction. (she even gave me a work note that states she performed major oral surgery that day)then proceeded to lie in all the following visits. I’m guessing she was trying to protect herself but it was weird stuff like saying I said this and that to her and it didn’t happen but even if it did why is it in my dental chart..this was the moment I realized she wasn’t just a horrible dentist but also a bad person. Please don’t trust this women!

I had a tooth removed by dr Keefe and after I was in serious pain caused by the tooth next to the site. Thinking I just had exposed nerve I went back to have her look at it twice the second time she said it was stray bone pushing against it and numbed me and began pulling fragments out. When she got to a large piece and started to pull I motioned her to stop but she said she almost had it and numbed me more and tugged till I heard a snap and felt like someone punched me in the jaw and my tooth immediately fell on to my tongue. She began tying my teeth together and put in some moldable plastic to stabilize it and walked out leaving her hygienist to show me the damage. She never explained to me what happened. I was sent to an oral surgeon who tried to help but I ended up loosing that tooth and another. She did offer me a partial free of charge but I needed a new one after every surgery I had. After reviewing my records I found out she lied about what happened. She is horrible

They are the best, very nice and friendly and always on time.

I moved to the area a few years ago and put off finding a new dentist so I was unaware what my needs were - I was recommended to Dr Keefe by my daughter, but still had trepadations. After an initial visit it was determined I needed an extraction. Dr Keefe performed the procedure after carefully explaining what to expect and making sure I had no questions. I was very comfortable throughout the procedure and suffered no side effects. In a few days I will have some fillings and am not experiencing any anxiety. I'm very glad I found a caring dental office who is in my insurance network. I really like Dr. Keefe and her help in the back, but the Heavier set receptionist is totally rude . Our insurance changed and waits till I drive across town to appt to tell me it does not exist . We have cobra and it does , I just had a different dentist office call and verify. She was rude when I came last few times, too lazy to call before to see if something would be covered. She said it was not her place to check. My mom , sisters , stepdad and grandpa all go there . They will get nothing from us again and I will definitely put the word out. I went to Dr. Keefe for what I thought was a wisdom tooth needing extracted. I was told to get there early to fill out paperwork. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. I waited a minute or so then called out to see if anyone was even there. Dr. Keefe came out and said everyone was at lunch. I don’t know why I was told to come early if that was their lunch time. Dr. Keefe gave me some laminated sheets to fill out with a dry erase marker and said she didn’t know what the hell she was doing in the front. That should have been my first indication that wasn’t the only thing she didn’t know. Her assistant took me back after I filled out the sheets and took an X-ray. Dr. Keefe looked at it and said that it was the molar and it was abscessed and I needed a root canal. I told her I couldn’t afford the root canal and that I wanted it extracted. She prescribed antibiotics and said she wouldn’t be able to do the extraction for a few weeks because she was going to have hand surgery. Thanks for telling me. Fast forward a week and I go to another dentist to have it extracted. This dentist actually looked inside my mouth, did some sensitivity testing, asked questions, took a panoramic X-ray, and determined the tooth that Dr. Keefe said needed a root canal was actually fine. It was, in fact, the wisdom tooth causing my problems. So not only was she wrong but she also billed my insurance company for an exam causing me to pay out of pocket for the exam at the 2nd dentist because I am only allowed 1 exam every six months. Also, when I called her office to request the file and X-ray be sent to the other dentist (understanding I would need to sign a release) I was told Dr. Keefe has to approve that and since she wasn’t there now she couldn’t do that. Great Staff! They're patient, understanding and listen to all concerns, then offer solutions. Highly recommend.

She states FL law says you need xrays or she refuses you as a patient. She also says if a dentist does this its malpractice. False No Law states you need xrays before services. If you hear this its to be reported to the dental board.

This dentist is amazing and her staff are so polite and professional! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Just had a tooth extracted and didn't feel a thing!!!!

I am very thankful for such a caring dental practice, from the technicians to Dr. Keefe. Both my wife and I have been patients at Pine Forest Family Dentistry since we moved to Pensacola over 4 years ago. Recently I had an infection in the gum of a tooth with an old root canal. An orthodontist wanted to have the tooth extracted but both Lisa (technician) and Dr. Keefe wanted to save it. Dr. Keefe did a 2nd bone graft and the tooth has been saved. Very thankful for their care and expertise as well as their willingness to go the extra mile to take the time to save the tooth. I just recently moved to Pensacola Florida, as I was researching the internet for a family dentist, I had a co-worker recommend Dr. Marian Keefe. Although it's clearly across town from my residence, I found a GEM in Pensacola. Dr. Keefe is Compassionate about her business as well as her patients. Her knowledge and care was awesome, and the staff is beyond well trained and professional. Dr. Keefe is not just a Dr. but a Family Dentist and a caring individual . Her staff and herself are more than five stars, can't express my gratitude for her services. P|rofessional and efficient. Down to earth real explanations with no fluff or BS. Friendly, courteous, knowledgable staff. Couldn't be more satisfied and I have had cleanings , a filling and an extraction. All pain free with no after effects. My kind of experience.

Dr. Keefe is amazing. Great at what she does and her staff is wonderful. My kids do not have any concerns about coming - they look forward to it. Compassionate and great care is what we receive here it’s been that way for the past4 years

Worst service ever with a dentist. Cleaning machine was broken, a fill in dental hygienist that didn't know the equipment and couldn't even turn on the water to rinse my mouth. Then to top it off I had hidden charges when my insurance company covers 100% of cleanings. When I called to complain they said either pay bill or it would be turned over to collection. Desk person hung up on me when I complained. Never would I recommend this dentist!!

Dr. Keefe is fabulous. She is professional and knowledgeable, and is happy to answer any questions I have. She's also down to earth and funny, and has a great relationship with her staff.
