I wish I could give zero stars for this doctor. I work in A Doctor's office- a primary care physician's/family doctor's office. I know how things work in an office like hers. A patient comes in for an annual physical- things like blood work, EKG, and other routine testings are done. My mom went in for an annual physical and she had two other concerns, all this so called doctor did was give her referrals for the two concerns she had- no blood test, no urine test, no routine testings, no EKGs. This is so disappointing because this was my mom's second time visiting them and they had only gotten worst. My mom decided after leaving the office that she wanted to have a bone density test done. So she was already having 2 other radiology test scheduled so I went ahead and scheduled the bone density test hoping to call the doctor and have them put the referral in for the bone density test. My mom had her appointment today for the tests, I called the office yesterday afternoon and spoke to Pradeep, she assured me that the test would be ordered and faxed over to the radiology site by this morning. My mom calls me telling me there's no order for the bone density test. I proceed to call the office- spoke to Pradeep again and she once again ASSURED me that the referral would be sent in 5 mins because the doctor was with a patient. Almost 30 mins went by and no referral was sent. I call the office AGAIN, only to be told that my mother has to have an appointment to go into the office to get the referral for A bone density test. This doctor only cares about money and getting paid. She's one of the worst doctors I've ever known and my mother will not be returning. She didn't even care enough to do some routine blood tests. She was going to have my mother make another appointment to go back for a blood test. Absolutely insane! If you are looking for a NEW PCP this is NOT THE ONE. Dr. Bollete is one of the finest physicians I have ever had. She is thorough, she leaves no questions unanswered, she follows up and follows through without any delay and she gets back to you more promptly than any Dr. I’ve ever had without having to leave message after message or chase her around like a lot of doctors do these days. I am so happy with her as my Doctor. She is also an absolutely Lovely lady also. She has a superb bedside manner and she makes you feel very comfortable. DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTOR I showed up to my appointment and the office was open, but the lights were all off and no one was there. I called the desk and was hung up on. I don’t trust these people with my health, I have never seen an office so shady before. Avoid if you can!!!

Even though my appointment was made a month ago and they’ve called me to confirm my appointment 3 days before, I come to arrive after an hour and a half ride that they no longer take my insurance. The two alternatives were either I switch to Fidelis or I get a new doctor. But the way their location is run it isn’t even worth the former. Before you head out to your appointment, just call and check if they still even take it because they wont call and tell you themselves. Absolutely horrible doctor's office. I would give 0 stars if I could. Doctor is rude and inconsistent, skips appointments and is late with prescriptions all the time. Go somewhere else!! I know I will.

Unorganized and lacking compassion. Expect to wait five or six hours to be seen and you will probably not even see the doctor you actually made the appointment to see. Don't waste your time or money. I have been here for the last time.

Excellent Dr. but the only problem when you call the office they have you on hold for the longest, they should have more staff at the front desk, they do not give the information to Dr. on time, my dad that has medication that needs to take it on a daily basis, there has been time that he has not taken it for a week because the Dr. never got the message. Dr. Belotte was great. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. I would definitely recommend her

They do not send prescriptions in time, and sometimes they send the wrong one!!

If you want real well educated humanity doctors DO NOT EVER GO THERE! They do not send the prescription on time to the pharmacy and the worst thing not sending prescription at all for the immediate needed even after went to her office and saw her! I wish i can give them 0 star!

The internet said they open on a Saturday from 9am-2pm.I showed up at 9am and the sign on the door states hours are from 10am-2pm so I've decided to wait.10:31am and I'm still sitting outside in my car waiting for the office to open smh.

Horrible. Even with the first appointment your waiting min 30 to 45min. Even though she's very knowledgeable, the follow ups and her and her staff are aggravating if your in need of a prescription or test results. It's been 2 weeks and still waiting for a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. Total waste of time and energy. Stay away.

I understand why people post the good reviews. Here's my experience. I took time off work to make my appointment it was tight but i made it. It was my first time there so as usual i had to do the paperwork. I notice that the front desk was not to professional. There was one form that i had a question about. Keep in mind that I was having a really bad headache. The answer she gave me was just sign it don't worry. Thats not good so im sitting there for awhile for the same girl to tell me that the doctor i had made the appointment with wasn't there so i jave to see someone else. So not professional like my time and me as a patient don't matter I understand why people post the good reviews. Here's my experience. Dr. Belotte and her staff, especially Luisa are just wonderful. They are such a family-like office. Dr. Belotte is exceptionally skilled, has spectacular "bed side" manners, works VERY hard to make the patient feel they received the BEST medical advice possible. As a cancer survivor I needed to feel confident I was going to receive Grade A+ service and with Dr. MARIE BELOTTE I received it! Good doctor but.. long waiting time, front desk is miserable, rushed appointments, phone calls hardly answered, horrible at returning results. They need to hire a new person at the front desk. Someone who is upbeat and actually addresses your concerns. I have to call several times to ask for my results. Ridiculous. Need to change my primary care.

I was looking for a caring, knowledgeable doctor when I moved to Bellrose/Floral park a couple of years ago. I looked up several doctors and saw she had very good patient reviews. I liked her from the start, she took her time to listen to all of my complaints and addressed them all. She is very nice and has a gentle manner about her. I'm glad she's my doctor!

Horrible experience..... She was okay 1st couple of visits then I had an emergency come up... I was feeling very ill (not so bad I thought I should go to the hospital) ... They made me wait 2 hours and then turned me away... How can you do that as a doctor?... It says a lot about your integrity and ethics. I felt so helpless... So disappointed... please find yourself a better doctor who actually cares about her p

Dr. Belotte was professional although I had never been examined before without having to change into an examination gown. She listened to my concerned and ordered a follow up test. Unfortunately, I have not received the results of the test after frequent calls to the office. I will not be returning to this practice.

Great bedside manner and very knowledgeable. I find their follow-up policy a bit disturbing though. If I didn't make frequent calls to follow-up on things, some things would not have gotten done, i.e., transferring some of my medical record information to/from her office to/from other providers. To date there are still outstanding issues that I have to chase for follow-up, since the good doctor and her staff haven't.. It's likely I'll go elsewhere to continue my care.

Dr. Belotte is a very friendly and caring Doctor. I recommend her to all my friends and family who lives in the neighborhood

I wish my one and only favorite family doctor would return to the Bronx. Since she left Ive changed doctors and even stopped going for 3 years bcus they were no good. She treated everyone in my family and we all loved her care. She was very supportive during my pregnancy and she didnt have to be. I can not express enough how much the Bronx misses her especially me :( I have a diff insurance now and i see she accepts it however its too far to go for regular appointments but the Bronx misses you Doc :( I wish my one and only favorite family doctor would return to the Bronx.
