Dr. Marija Guidry Lasalle

i went to Dr Lasalle for a consultation. my gums are very sensitive and when she was probing them i kinda moaned not to mention my anxiety level. she looked at the assistant and told her with me sitting there. if it hurts her this bad to probe then she needs to pull them and just get dentures. myself and the assistant were so taken back !!! then she left the room , sent someone else to come tell me she won’t help me and told me that i owe nothing and basically kicked me out. i left there in tears and humiliated. she is very rude and very uncaring i still can’t believe that i was treated so badly and shamed. what a horrible person she is !!!!!!

I had a great experience. Dr. Laselle was very straight forward and professional. She explained everything in a manner that I could understand. I would recommend Dr. Laselle's office to anyone needing special care.

I went to this doctor 4 yrs ago to discuss implants and other solutions. I went there prepared to pay cash. Dr. LaSalle was rude and talked down to me, shamed me for the condition of my teeth instead of helping fix the problem. I had also just lost an eye, so I was already self conscious. Neer in my 66 years have I been spoken to in such an ugly manner. I did not return for more of her or her verbal and psychological abuse. Dr. Lasalle evaluated my needs on my first visit.. On my second visit she took good care of my peridontal needs. Doreen, dental hygienist, cleaned my teeth very well and was so understanding and responsive. Everyone in her office is very helpful and professional. My endodontist recommended her so I'm glad to have good care.

Being the type of person that I am, I never went to the dentist office regularly. I started going with my family’s urging (by the way I’m in my 60’s) and found out that I had major issues. The dentist would not even clean my teeth and referred me to Dr. LaSalle. She did a complete assessment of my mouth, sent me to an oral surgeon for bone loss surgery. Then she performed laser surgery on my gums to save further bone loss. I owe her big time for the care she has given me. She’s the greatest.

My periodontal doctor for many years. She has guided me through many oral difficulties with kindness and wonderful results. I can't imagine going to anyone else. Not only would I recommend her, I have recommended her several times.

Hello to all. My name is Dan and I recently moved from Baton Rouge to Mandeville. Prior to moving, I discovered major mouth problems fast approaching and my dentist in Baton Rouge referred me to Dr. LaSalle. WHAT A HUGH RELIEF. Dr. LaSalle is one of the most professional, down to earth , kind and extremely considerate individual on this planet. Dental work was long and tedious, Dr. LaSalle's staff--also very professional and just plain great to be around. RECOMMENDATION--USE THIS DOCTOR

Never before have I been so humiliated on my first visit to any medical professional. She may be a fine practitioner, but she is so rude and insulting. Treated me as though I was the idiot in the room. Dental work is difficult enough on a patient, but a patient should never leave a first appointment feeling demeaned by any medical professional. Staff was warm, and professional and appeared embarrassed by Dr. Lasalle's ugly behavior.

I've been a patient of Dr. La Salle's for many years. I've never had a bad experience with her or her staff. I've had several procedures done in her office with no problems. I go back for regular maintenance and have had no periodontal problems since I've been under her care. She and her staff are extremely kind and competent.
