Worst MD ever , only go if you want to get no help and then feel like a criminal for asking for help . Please find better help than this women

Dr. Zatman is not a therapist. She is a psychopharmacologist and her job is to prescribe medication and know them well. Do not expect therapy. She knows therapists she can refer you to but being a therapist is not her specialty. She is the best in Woodbury in terms of knowing medications and doses to prescribe.

Dr. Zatman has treated me for years. She is very thorough and thoughtful in her treatment and medication management. She is very encouraging; she doesn't pull any punches, either. She is a strong advocate for overall health and wellness.

Therapeutic approach: 5 mins of going down a checklist and then making sure that you’re medicated. ????‍♂️

This doctor is legitimately sadistic. She insisted I see her once more before moving and gave me a refill to a medication I take daily. Upon moving, she would not send in a new prescription which is needed in the state I moved to that wont accept refills. This medication causes super severe withdrawal but she refuses to send a new prescription in. Her license should be revoked. A doctor is supposed to do no harm. I think she is a danger to people. The absolute worst person you should go to. I advise people to find other psychiatric help from almost ANYONE else. This woman does not care for her patients, and charges “missed appointment fees” for appointments that you never made. I have never met a more terrible psychiatrist

Extremely critical of you. I took abuse from her for one whole year. I finally said ‘enough is enough” and never went back. Every appointment, my weight was always brought up (I’m 20 pounds overweight). I left every appointment in tears, feeling so bad about myself. The final straw was when she told me “it was a mistake for you getting pregnant. It will undo all my therapy I did with you.” I would highly recommend NOT seeing her! Dismissive and has been incredibly critical of my symptoms while on medication. Quick to bill me a whopping $100 if I accidentally skipped an appointment, but will never answer when ""accidentally"" overcharging me double on co-pays when my paper work is updated and on file. The last straw was when I was given free samples of a drug that by all accounts shouldn't have been given to me. I get that psychiatrists can promote medications, but considering my experience with her and the blatant pharma capitalism undertones of that whole exchange it really rubbed me off the wrong way. She saved my life- I have long term mental health issues and she went above and beyond and never gave up on me no matter how many times I have up on myself

BEWARE!! Very critical of you! Please DO NOT use her as your therapist. As another reviewer said, I too, would leave there in tears....feeling so bad about myself.

Doctor denied treatment to a patient because they are a medical marijuana card holder. Do not see this doctor. She is not compassionate.

My experience of several years with Dr. Zatman has been excellent. My diagnoses are those which don't respond well to meds or therapy but she perseveres in trying to find the best treatment for me. Her reputation includes her great knowledge of psychiatric meds. She has a way about her that you sense she really cares and understands when you are uncomfortable in whatever condition(s) ail(s) you. She is the best psychiatrist in the area.
