Fantastic physician, knowledgeable, careful, thorough and compassionate!

Offices of Doctor Marine Demirjian feels more like a zen oasis then your regular boring doctors waiting room. As soon as u walk in you are greeted with top notch service. The lobby felt like a spa with serene light blue walls. Doctor Demirjian excelled my expectations. Other doctors just ask questions and prescribe some new drugs. Doctor Demirjian did a thorough examination of lungs and throat. She inquired about my medical history with allergies. And added more tests to find a solution thats benefits my health ong term. I am very happy with her professionalism and charm. I will definitely recommend this office to my freinds and family. When you meet Dr. Demirjian for the first time, you instantly realize, you are fortunate to have a kind and brilliant Specialist taking care of your needs. Thank God we still can find Doctors who Have great knowledge and humility .

I highly recommend the Allergy and Asthma Treatment Center. From the professional and welcoming staff that greeted me every week, to the exceptional Dr. Demirjian who guided me through the immunotherapy process, I was well taken care of every step of the way. Dr. Demirjian is truly concerned about her patients well being and she takes the time to explain your options and offer you individualized solutions. Her staff of dedicated professionals are considerate and thoughtful. For 5 years they assisted me in overcoming my allergy issues and I will always be extremely grateful to them all. Thank you.

If I could give negative stars to Dr. Marine Demirjian, I would. Totally unscrupulous!! She took over the allergy practice that we went to in Pasadena for six years. In order to have a simple form filled out for my son's school, she said we needed an expensive exam by one of her doctors. We had just seen another doctor at the practice and she had all of his records, so this was clearly just a ploy to charge for the visit. Okay, I get it. I agreed and my son saw the new doctor. HOWEVER, she never mentioned that she was now not going to take my insurance. Blue Cross PPO. She never notified me of the change in insurance coverage. It wasn't until I received a huge bill/EOB from Blue Cross that I had any idea. I called her office and Lucia was initially very nice and told me "I'm so sorry; we thought we would be covered by Blue Cross. Don't worry, you will only be charged what you were charged by your former doctor." Okay, that sounded fair. Then I call back, two weeks later, to change my son's appointment for his shots and the same woman has a very different attitude. Very rude she tells me I am responsible for all of the charges because this doctor is not in network. As if the conversation two weeks earlier never happened. I finally found another allergist to see my son, who was in network. However, Dr. Demirjian held my son's records hostage, telling me they would not release the records until I paid the bill. My son needs his allergy shots, so I paid the bill just to get him seen by another doctor. However, no one should be treated like this. It is illegal to refuse to release medical records or tie them to payment of a bill. My complaints start here, but will be moving to the medical board and any other law enforcement agency that will take my complaint. Don't go to this doctor. I was very happy with Dr. Demirjian's test. She really explained everything well and took the time for analysis and walking through next steps. I am very confident that she helped me get the most out of the test series.

UCLA's Dr. Demirjian is awesome. She is brilliant, methodical, careful, precise, kind, humble, and gracious.I have spent decades teaching biological sciences to pre-med students at a top-15 US university, and she is precisely the sort of MD everyone would be grateful to have.
