Was charged $105 with in-network insurance to have a doctor prescribe me a bunch of pills that I don't need nor will I take. He refused to listen to anything I had to say and did a lot of assuming without any actual examination just because of his past experiences. Waste of my time and money.

Dr Akerson is absolutely the best doctor ever. Even though I have a disease that most docs don't understand, gastroparesis, he treats me as good as any specialist I have seen. He knows me well and always helps me feel better. I would recommend Dr. Akerson to anyone!

I asked for an appointment and was told to fill out paperwork and someone would contact me about an appointment which never happened. I would not send my cat to an appointment here. These people are unprofessional and frankly they should not be in business.

I have been very picky about my medical care..... Panhandle Family Care Associates have been so wonderful. Dr. Nesmith, amazing, down to earth, respectful, and really hears you as a patient. It feels god to be able to talk to a Dr. that will talk back, with out going over my head.....
