Dr. Mark Winslow Icard

I'm 86 years of age so I've had plenty of experience with dentists. They come no better than Mark Icard and his crew! This opinion is based on a 20 year relationship. Gene Hyde of Concord, N.C. - Jan 27, 2020

A friend referred me to Dr Icard after I had a particularly difficult time getting prepared for crowns at another dentist. Upon meeting Dr Icard and his team the first time, I immediately felt more at ease. The office is bright and pleasant, and the front office staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Dr Icard himself, exudes calm confidence. He is incredibly knowledgeable, while at the same time, immediately open and approachable. His office is set up with very high tech equipment, all aimed at giving the patient the best dental experience possible. Even the administration of anesthetic was as completely relaxed and pain free as I’ve EVER experienced. As I was waiting for my crowns to be built (he builds them right there in his office, so I had everything done in one appointment!) he checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and throughout the visit, seemed genuinely invested in the comfort of his patient. I suggest you try his office for your next dental procedure, I believe you may decide you actually LIKE going to the dentist!

I called to see if they would see my mom. She is an elderly woman and was worried about a lump on her gum. They took her that same day. The staff was wonderful. They made her feel very secure and safe. They assured her all was well and it ended up being nothing serious. They treated her with kindness and respect. Thank you Dr. Icard and staff.

Dr. Icard is absolutely wonderful. Every trip is a positive experience and the staff is outstanding as well. Nothing but good things to say about this office.

The dentist responded to my 'poor review' by claiming that he has never seen me. I guess it is his 'deny, deny, deny' defense. I changed my last name due to marriage, but the office is just as bad at keeping track of their patients' records as they are at everything else. I wonder how many teeth they break if this one happened less than a year ago and they still did not connect the dots.

Dr Icardis extremely gentle and caring. He performed extensive cosmetic procedures on me. I could not be happier.
