I have been seeing Dr. Mark Kelly in Grenada, Mississippi, for about 10 years, and have no complaints. He has treated me successfully for basal cell cancer twice. I trust him completely.

This is a rude man. I felt abused after his 7 minute evaluation of my condition that has been ongoing for 1 year. He came in, asked me where was the problem snatched the back of my dress down and went to saying she’s a picker. There’s nothing I can do for you if you don’t stop picking. I tried to explain the condition but was cut off saying I was a picker and there was nothing he could do or any other doctor. Then he went behind me, showed me a needle and began stabbing the back of my neck with it. He did not explain the injection, what it was for or the results I should expect. I did not give my consent to have a drug unidentified to me to be injected. He told his nurse some prescriptions. I asked him what it was. He said the name of the med in a curt short fashion without telling for what diagnosis it was prescribed for. I asked him if this treatment didn’t work should I return? He said you are a picker I’ve seen hundreds of cases like this before there is nothing I can do for you or any other doctor. I sat there with my mouth open. Then he left the room. I felt abused. He didn’t allow me to say anything. He didn’t tell me to continue or stop previous prescribed meds I was taking. If he thought I had a picking disorder he didn’t ask me anything about it or suggest I seek mental health care. I said the bumps continually comeback itch and burn. He said I picked so much my skin couldn’t recover. I asked him what was I picking then? He didn’t answer. He didn’t give me a chance to tell him the bumps occur on both sides of my tongue too and I don’t pick there. After he left the nurse apologized to me for the bad experience and asked me if I wanted to see the other doctor. I declined and said I won’t be returning to this Grenada Clinic. Dr. Kelley was aggressively rude, dismissive, and condescending. If I could sue him for injecting me without my consent I would. This is a rude man. I’ve gone to Dr. Kelley for a few years and have never been completely satisfied, but I continued to see him since he’s the only dermatologist (but he’s not really) in Grenada. The straw that broke the camels back was when I had a mole removed from my back that was about the size of an eraser head. He left a scar about 4 inches long. He just cuts and freezes things with no concern about the scar that will be left.

I saw Dr. Kelley at the Grenada Clinic. He did not ask my history, would not allow me to speak without cutting me off. He kept calling me a picker and there was nothing he could do for me. He began injecting the back of my neck with something he did not explain or get consent to do. He did not give me a diagnosis but gave me injections and barked off a prescription to his nurse. I asked him what was it he curtly said the name but didn’t say how to use it, or any instructions. He did not have any concern that I had this problem for a year nor for the treatment I had in the past. He didn’t tell me to discontinue or keep using medication I was on prior to this visit. After the torturous 7 minutes he left. The nurse apologized to me and asked if I wanted to see another doctor. I declined and said I would never return. I felt completely abused. If I could sue him for injecting me without permission or explanation of the injection and not even telling me a diagnosis but continually telling me I’m a picker and he nor anyone else could help me, I would. I plan to look into it. I asked if his treatment didn’t work should I return. He just stared at me and told me I was a picker and there was nothing he or any other doctor could do for me. If I truly did have a picking compulsion why did he not ask me why I did it and refer me to mental health? He is abusive, rude, dismissive, and condescending. He should be protested for how he treat paying consumers

He is rude, dismissive, and condescending. He does not allow for questions and seem bothered if you ask. He cut me off several times during our 7 minute consult. He injected my neck without explaining the injection, the diagnosis why he chose the injection, or what to expect from the injection. He did not get my consent to inject me with an unidentified substance. He did not tell me any diagnosis, just called me a picker. To no information how my problem started a year ago, what it presented like, or types of medication tried before and should I continue or stop use of those prescribed meds. I felt abused after our contact. The nurse apologized for my bad experience and asked if I wanted to see another doctor. I declined and told her I won’t return to the Grenada Clinic. If I could sue him for injecting the back of my neck without my consent I would. He should be picketed.

Never left a bad review online of a physician, but my 2 experiences (yes I gave him a second chance) with this physician were so bad that I felt it warranted a review. Honestly, he appeared to not like his job much and it showed. He made an immediate conclusion and did not seem to listen to what I said. I went back a second time after my condition worsened and he literally put up his hands and said, “that’s all I got for you”. More interested in talking about his new house. Dx was wrong

I arrive to my appointment (1 hour away from my home) and the receptionist informed me that they don’t have a physician in the office today. She reports that my appointment was rescheduled to March 20. By rescheduled she meant they “tried to call to cancel the appointment” and "probably left a message". Well, I have no missed calls or voicemails. If they have such a lack of respect for your time with something as simple as properly cancelling an appointment they do not deserve your business.

He was supposed to finish a post-biopsy treatment on an ear and upon returning, Dr Kelly treated an area overy 1" away from the biobiopsy site and never realized until I called and told him. They admitted it was "their mistake" and we should come back and the correct area would be treated "at no additional charge"

Dr Kelly was totally insensitive to my problem. He looked at me, a 66 yr old woman, and said, "I can't help you, man!" He then strode out without another word. He was in the room approximately 2 minutes asking no questions whatsoever.. I contacted dear Dr Marascalco, a fine doctor and perfect gentleman, and informed him of my treatment by Dr Kelly.

I went to Dr. Kelley's office on today and the service was horrible. Dr. Kelley spent less than two minutes in the room with me and made his diagnosis. He did not ask me did I have any questions or concerns just a nonchalant attitude. He exemplified the typical doctor just going about his daily routine with no regards for his patients. I will be on the look out for another dermatologist......

He was very arrogant and condescending!! I brought my elderly friend to see him for Shinhles. He was very rude and talked down to her. He acted as though he did not want to be at work that day. Every time she would ask a question, he would huff as if he couldn't be bothered. The nurse had to explain everything to her, including medication instructions. It was ridiculous!! I definitely wouldn't recommend him to anyone, based on the fact, he had the worst bedside manner that I've ever seen. My friend will definitely never go back!!!

Dr. Kelley spent very little time with me and was in such a rush I only had time to ask one question. His paperwork he sent home with me said that he discussed and counselled me about my procedure, after care, and diagnosis. None of which he actually did.

I was a new patient at Marascalco Dermatology Clinic at the Oxford location. I had a horrible experience. Although the nurses and staff were extremely friendly, I hate to say that Dr. Kelley was by far the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. Horrible bedside manner very impersonal and has absolutely zero respect for his patients. After asking 'too many questions' seven minutes into my appointment he walked out on me and requested that I see another doctor. He is a poor representation for Marascalco Dermatology. I would recommend Marascalco due to their staff and nurses but by all means, request another Doctor.
