I had the worst experience I have ever had in a doctors office. Dr. Kot was dismissive and uncaring. He left the room on several occasions when I was in the middle of asking questions and spoke to me from the end of the hall where I could barely hear. He clearly didn’t care. I would highly recommend NOT using him.

DR. Kot is one of the most intelligent, efficient and professional doctors I have ever been to. We who live in the Hamptons are so fortunate to have him at our fingertips.

This is the 3rd interaction with Dr. Kot and his staff. My bet is this man would not help the pilot of a jetliner having a heart attack with out verifying that he has valid insurance, and a stack of $100's in his back pocket. He would let the plane crash, himself included. These people are so rude. Wear a suit of money on the way in, maybe they won't treat you like dirt. I recently had chills and fever and visited Doctor Kot at his Southampton office. He was very professional and thorough with the treatment in his office. He then referred me to the local Southampton hospital where they have better lab facilities and a more accurate Covid test. At the hospital - fortunately - it was decided that I did not have Covid but had a tickborne disease. The nurses also commented that everything Dr. Kot did was exactly correct. X-ray, temperature check, history of exposure. So I’m grateful for Doctor Kot, his staff and the appropriate treatment that I received. Always unpleasant, although very convenient, the poor women working alone at the front desk , without any help, creates a bottle neck of patients.. For PCR test, that takes a minute, you will wait an hour, In addition the doctor always unpleasant manner is a cherry on the cake, like in the 19th century -he doesn't want to email results but make you come back the next day to pick up the results physically! 2 trips for one test!!! Plans for 2 visits to his clinic including the bottle neck! in addition I was asked to pay $100 from the lab because the clinic didn't provide them with the insurance, info , so if you think you save time by going to him, you really don't! I called ahead and asked them for a PCR test. They told me to come in and they could do it. When i got here they said they only had rapid tests left and wanted to charge $200 for a rapid test you could buy at a pharmacy. These people are profiteers of covid not healthcare professionals. Very frustrating experience. I pulled a tick off my 4 year old son during bedtime tick check, which I kept in a Ziploc bag. I called this morning to ask whether I should bring him in to be seen and/or get tick tested or wait to see if any symptoms develop. The receptionist said "bring him in", so we drove to the office. After waiting outside in the rain for nearly an hour to check in, I was told when I got to the desk that there is nothing to do for a child so he won't be seen. I provided the feedback to the receptionist that I very clearly indicated on the phone that he was 4 years old and was told to bring him in when I gave the information on the phone this morning. Additionally, neither the doctor nor the receptionist were wearing masks. This is incredibly concerning for a medical office, given the spread of the Delta variant and the increasing number of breakthrough cases. Can't comment on the quality of care in this practice. Went for a Covid test needed for travel. Was dismayed to see that none of the staff were wearing PPE. The woman who administered the test was wearing neither a mask nor gloves. The patients were all masked, even while waiting outdoors. We're all concerned about the Delta variant. I would have expected a medical office running large numbers of tests daily to maintain the highest standards of Covid hygiene. Not the case here. I have been here at least 5 times and they are great every time! Very lucky they are in the area.

Took my very sick Fiancé here... The receptionist was very rude and basically tried getting me away as quickly as possible. I asked for an electronic prescription which would save us time waiting at the pharmacy. A few extra minutes of both the Drs time and the receptionist would have gone a long way and saved us from waiting 30 minutes in the pharmacy. Don’t go here. I never leave reviews but my experience today compelled me to write this. I came here as a child with a concussion and they told me I could return to my camp the next day. I then went to many other doctors who told me it was much more serious. In fact, I suffered from headaches, dizziness, and other post concussive symptoms for a few years. I only returned to this place today because Bridgehampton urgent care had a 10 hour wait. This place leaves all the doors to exam rooms open so that you can loudly hear the doctor exclaim everyone’s medical issues, even from the waiting area. Such an invasion of my privacy. The doctor also rushes patients so he can make more money. He barely examined my injury, wouldn’t answer any of my questions, and came in and out in about 2 minutes. When I came in, I gave them my insurance and they did not indicate that it would not cover the appointment. To my shock I was presented with a $315 bill. Why aren't he and his staff wearing masks?

Incomplete info on the website, $195 for Covid test!

Went for Covid testing and had to wait in a fairly crowded waiting room for 15 minutes while the receptionist had her mask pulled underneath her nose the whole time. I’m gonna have to get another covid test somewhere else in a week just because of that!

I am sure Dr. Kot is a great doctor, my only experience with his office is for COVID testing given he was one of the only options. Ultimately you are paying Dr. Kot’s team $195 to do the test which takes less than a minute, mostly after standing outside in line in the cold for at least a couple of hours, and then another 15-20 mins inside, plus another $100 to Sunrise labs for the actual test. $295 for a Covid test... 2 hour wait in line in the cold outside... Another 15 min wait in the office with others... In the midst of a pandemic... If it were $195 for convenience & the $100 for the test then perhaps, but not for this set up. Hopefully they adjust their practices. I am sure Dr. Kot is a great doctor, my only experience with his office is for COVID testing given he was one of the only options. No waiting, professional staff, great office, would recommend Dr Kott to anyone who needs emergency care.

Great experience, no waiting, quality care, I would go there again the next time I am out on the island. office is clean, staff very helpful and in a convenient location.

He is very caring. Listens to symptoms carefully. Very efficient! Gets to the bottom of your health issue quickly.

Beware! He charges $1950 for a bogus COVID test. He is being reported to the Department of Health for fraud.

I needed to see a dr. for a minor injury. No other walk in could give me an appointment for at least 24 hours and the walk in wait time was extremely long. Dr Kot's office told me to come right down and I was seen within 15 minutes of walking in and out the door in another 15 (including an xray!). Thank you to Dr Kot and his staff for not forgetting there are people who need to see a doctor non-Covid related too.

The best doctor...so lucky to have this man and his staff in our area!!

Dr Kot looks, sees, diagnoses, prescribes - and heals. Thank you, Dr Kot. It is a blessing that we have you in our lives - and that are so accessible.

I stepped on piece of glass at the beach which lodged in my foot. Dr Kot took x-rays, gave anaesthetics and managed to get the tiny piece of glass out of my foot. My husband and daughters have used this practice and we all think Dr Kot is amazing!

Follow up from a visit years ago. I went to get stitches there as a kid. It was a minor cut but needed the work done. A junior medic taking fire could do a better job sewing someone up. Still have a HUGE scar to this day...

The worst experience with a so called physician that I ever had. He has the bedside manner of a deer tick-even a flea wouldn't do him justice. I had a simple sinus infection which he should have been able to handle. Instead he said he wouldn't do anything, like prescribe an antibiotic and instead told me to go to the Southampton Emergency Room. I instead went to Wainscott Walk in Clinic and was given a simple but effective antibiotic. This so called "doctor" is nasty, unpleasant to a patient that needed help. I would never recommend him as a physician. He was rude, didn't give me any respect plus his office was empty. Go to Wainscot or the new Bridgehampton walk in. Came in with a terrible infection. I was treated immediately. He was kind,knowledgeable didn’t miss a trick. I didn’t get better - came back the next day he again was very professional did the necessary clinical things to rule out dangerous complications. I went to Dr Kot and let me tell you how wonderful it is to feel lousy and know that your going to someone who is always there. He is nice, professional and has a stamina beat none to be in the office every day. His staff set me up and in 20 minutes I was out the door to the pharmacy with the script ready when I arrived. I am very happy to have him in our town so that I dont have to go to ER for every little thing. I highly recommend him. If you dont like it its probably because your sick.???? Dr. Kot has provided my family excellent care for years. The office experience is amazing, wait times are almost non existent. It's like going to the ER without having to go to the ER. Two Thumbs Up!!

Outstanding..Dr Kot is the best...I have been to the clinic several times and the care is outstanding...I was in and out of the office in 45 min. I have been there stitches to x-rays. Truly the best!

Last Wednesday my daughter called in the morning telling me that my grandson was ill and if I could possibly bring him to Dr.Kot. The little guy is 14 months old and not a fan of doctors. Dr. Kot took care of him quickly x-ray also, prescribed meds, gave me my instructions and had us on the road to recovery in no time. This is the second time there and I could not ask for a better doctor or experience. Worst experience ever with a doctor. Took one minute and prescribed medication that was contraindicated with my current medication -- and he never asked. He cares more about his tan than your health. Beware!

Dr. Kot was extremely professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind. His staff was professional, prompt, and efficient. Truly very well done. I am so appreciative.
