Had eyelid and brow lift. Was very nervous and him and staff explained everything.

Terrible experience the doctor had the nerve to pull the “I’m the doctor” card on me when I told him I wasn’t allergic to anything. And Let alone he told me he didn’t know what was on my eye. Then on top of that he didn’t even fully remove it,and wants me to pay another $400, please don’t go here. I would give 0 stars if possible

Listened carefully to my problem, examined my eyelid carefully, explained his diagnosis in detail, prescribed medication and course of treatment. Took time to confirm my understanding of problem and expected result of treatment.

Dr Mazow is a super Dr who is down to earth and knowledgeable making the patient feel very comfortable! His availability is good and pricing is excellent. I'm going to get some procedures done.

Did a great job for me. Very informative and friendly.

Not very friendly. The whole time it felt like he was annoyed or like he just didn’t want to help me. It was a bit upsetting. I won’t go back.

I think Dr. Mazow is an exceptionally good doctor. He’s very through to explain everything in detail.

Receptionist was 5 stars, kind & personable. Assistant (Nurse?), Unsocial, not personable whatsoever. Gave her untrue compliments to help her day with not even a thank you. Later doc comes in and states, You are here for Dermatitis! WTH? If I had dermatitis I have a DERMATOLOGIST which is 5 stars. Wrong! There for saggy eyelids covering eyesight. It says, DERMATITIS! I don't care what it says. Eye doctor sent me for .my vision blockage. Very male chauvanistic as if I will treat you for Dermatitis because I am the doctor which he made clear. Was shining a bright light in eyes... Open up, "YOU ARE SQUINTING". Ooopsie sorry I squinted from a bright light was in a car wreck totaling car a d four surgeries later bright lights do cause me pain. He told me surgery is not the skin hanging over blocking ur sight it is for the skin on the eye coverage. My grandmother has had to have the surgery twice. Called her and told her what he said. Grandma is 101 and she even said, "It's time you find another doctor (Google will not permit the rest of Grandma's comments). Nobody in waiting room and I arrived thirty minutes early. Researching this doctor I saw he was two stars. Google demands one star to post. My review is a negative so deduct that star. Let's be positive. Retirement is fabulous I hear. Doctor go ahead and get you some fabulosity. There is no doctors offices that permit unkind staff (unless relatives). For the receptionist bless her heart working in that negative environment. Dr. Mazow was very professional, answered all me questions. Thank you for taking care of Veterans like me. I am very pleased with the results of my surgery and can see so much better.

My 90 year old mother was in a situation with a blocked tear duct and doing nothing was not an option due to potential complications. I was very concerned with anesthesia at her age. Dr Mazow was very clear and confident in the procedure and reassuring. The entire team was very attentive and explanatory to me and my mom the morning of the procedure and I could not give them a higher rating…. Recovery area was very attentive and Dr Mazow spoke to me personally after the surgery. A very bad infection was found and cleared out and mom has had no further issue and it is now a year later. Dr. Mazow took the time to inform me and answer all my questions. His staff was wonderful when I had to reschedule everything due to a death in the family. Surgery went well, follow-up care was excellent and I am very happy with the results!!!

Dr. Mazow was informative, personable and even offered to speak with my husband over a small concern. I am a new patient needing surgery and I left his office very confident that I would be in his care. His staff was kind and there was very little wait time. I would highly recommend Dr. Mazow to family and friends!

Excellent care, informative, detailed.

I could not be happier with the results from my surgery with Dr. Mazow. The lid on my left eye drooped slightly and was very unsightly in photos and videos, which I often have to do for my business. I had surgery on both eyes to create a more even symmetrical appearance. What a difference this surgery made! Dr. Mazow was very thorough and informative during my consultations. He was also direct and to the point, and made me aware of the risks and the estimated time for recovery. His staff was helpful and accommodating. He was very easy to reach and responded promptly over the weekend the day following my surgery when I had a concern about what I thought might be excess bleeding. He assured me it was normal, and in fact it cleared up the next day in the timeline he gave me. His prompt response and assurance was very comforting. I would highly recommend Dr. Mazow. He and his staff are very efficient with scheduling and getting patients in and out of appointments in a timely manner. My overall experience was very positive as was the result of my surgery. I normally don't write reviews but if this would help someone else to not have to have the same bad experience that I did, then it would be worth it. I couldn't get in to see the Dr that I had been recommended to see so opted for this Dr. BIG mistake! A simple procedure that could have been performed in the office, I was told required surgery. I won't even go into his "bedside" manner. I was more interested in the results of the surgery. After several weeks of my eye getting worse, I went back for my follow up & was told that I had scar tissue left over & that I would now have to have the lid lifted (of course was told it required surgery). I finally got in to the Dr that I had originally been trying to see & it was a whole different story. He removed the scar tissue & did the lift in the office. Anyway if you are considering using Dr Mazow, I hope that this review will help you decide and hopefully look further. There really are some good eye Drs out there. It has only been a week so I really can't rate this any higher right now. I can tell you about my experience so far after the surgery I was in a lot of pain for the first week I have really bad headaches, eye aching made it to my first appt Dr. Mazow said the headaches is not related to the surgery and I could go back to work. but can't even open my eye it's still swollen pretty bad and I work with patients for 12 hours and after sending a photo to my boss he immediately took me off the sch. So since Dr Mazow said the headaches was not due to the surgery I made a Doctor's appt with my primary physician to find out why I am having these headaches. I hope to come back in a week or two for an update about the headaches if Dr. Mazow office send me another survey. Thanks It has only been a week so I really can't rate this any higher right now. I had Mohs surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma on the bridge of my nose. Then went to Dr. Mazow for reconstructive surgery. We didn't know what would happen with the Mohs part or how long it would take but Dr. Mazow spent considerable time telling me what the possibilities were and how he would handle each scenario. Mostly, he reassured me that whatever they did, he could repair it for me which made me feel much better. He and his entire staff were very compassionate and always very courteous. Dr. Mazow repaired a retracted lower eyelid on me 24 years ago and it has been fine ever since. So when I had a problem with my tear ducts this year I was glad to learn that he still had his surgery practice here in Dallas. He quickly identified the problem and did the necessary surgery. It's amazing to me that he can do such good work in such a small delicate area of the body. My recovery is proceeding very well. We are fortunate to have this talented doctor in Dallas!
