My husband fell, lacerating his head. He was treated at CVMC ER, and was given excellent care by Dr Zahid and the nursing staff. I am an RN and recognize great care when it is given. Dr Zahid ordered a CT Scan, and did not discharge patient till wound was cleaned, staples applied, and elevated BP was decreasing. He gave proper instructions for wound care and return date for staples removal. My husband and I highly recommend Dr Zahid.

Misdiagnosed me during an er visit. Would not listen to the reason I was there, came in and without asking questions said I believe this is what you have go home and take a laxative and sent me home without a proper exam and discharged me. Even the nurse in the er was upset at this but couldn’t do anything. My mother tried to plead with him that this was wrong and something was very wrong with me. He yelled at her and was extremely rude and walked out. 24 hours later I was back in the er with a perforated bowel and undergoing emergency surgery thanks to his negligence. I have spoken to a lawyer and will be filing a malpractice suit. I would give zero stars but you have to put something

I had no choice but to see him at a local urgent care. Basically tried to pick a fight with me, saying either I had to choose the course of treatment or he had to choose it. He seemed very bitter, saying medicine has changed in the last 10 years for the worse. Did not listen to me and argued with me about my symptoms. Very rude, no bedside manner. Makes me wonder how many patients he has misdiagnosed over the years. I was really shocked.

Worst doctor I have ever seen in my 40 years. I have reported him to Alabama's Medical Board. He should not be allowed to practice!
