Dr. Robbins performed my excision of endometriosis in July of 2016. In April of 2019, he performed a presacral neurectomy for uterine pain. He checked for any residual endometriosis during my second surgery and pathology confirmed no disease was present. I am now over 5 years out from my excision surgery and have ZERO signs/symptoms of the disease. He is an absolute angel and gave me my life back. Not only is Dr. Robbins an extremely skilled surgeon, he has the best bedside manner I’ve yet to experience (both as a patient and as a healthcare worker who works with numerous doctors every single day). I have referred many women to Dr. Robbins and will continue to do so. Dr. Robbins performed my excision surgery in January 2016 and I thank him for giving me my life back. I spent over 10 years in pain from untreated Endometriosis, and he was the only OB/GYN who took my pain seriously from day 1. I highly recommend you see him if you suspect or know you have Endometriosis.

I can’t even say enough great things about Dr. Robbins , He is beyond compassionate and is invested into every individual he sees. After my hysterectomy from another doc , I had bad pains , docs brushed it off but not Dr. Robbins ! He said it sounds like your endometriosis is still there. He was correct. It never went away. Dr Robbins fixed that, I am now 100% pelvic pain free these days and I’m 10 weeks out from surgery! He IS the GOLD standard!!! Thank you Dr Robbins!!! ??

Dr. Robbins is amazing! You won't be disappointed. He is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, thorough, respectful AND personable. What you hear on the phone with Dr. Robbins, is what you get in person. He stays with you every step of the way until treatment and recovery is complete. I can't say enough good things about him and his expertise. He literally was my saving angel, while doctors here in VT couldn't figure out what was wrong and I kept getting sicker and sicker, for well over a year and I was told "everything was in my head" and that "I just needed to be on psych medication and all my problems would be solved." I AM looking at having to have another surgery for my Endometriosis and Endometriomas and if I can swing it financially Dr. Robbins is the only one I will allow to do this surgery. He has my eternal gratitude and trust.

If I could give Dr. Robbins more than five (5) stars, I most definitely would! He is the most professional, caring, thorough doctor I have ever met. I had a phone consult with him a year ago, that led to surgery to remove endometriosis, adhesions on my bowels and a tumor on my rectal wall, as well as a diseased appendics all of which was misdiagnosed at the UVM Medical Center. I don't know of another doctor who gives their patient their personal cell phone number and email to stay in touch AND visits you at your hotel room for the post op visit, in a severe snow storm so that as the patient, you don't have to travel post op. The only draw back was that Dr. Robbins was out of network for my insurance, yet the $10,000 I had to borrow in loans and am still paying back, was worth my life and well being. After years of debilitating pain, I sought treatment in multiple big cities when a doctor in Boston asked me if I knew about Dr. Robbins, I had just moved twenty minutes away from his office in Maine. The best experience for my health and wellbeing was pursuing the plan of action Dr. Robbins created for me. Everything these other women have mentioned was true for me too. He truly understands the needs of those who suffer from endometriosis. My quality of life and productivity have improved 100%.

Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. have you ever had another surgeon give you his personal cell phone? I even had to call him Easter Sunday for a post operative issue and he called me back in less than 10 minutes. He's a keeper!

He is the best doctor and I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back. He is the most compassionate and thorough doctor I have ever met and he genuinely cares about his patients. It is not unlike him to not call weeks, months and a year later to check in.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Robbins. I was in such terrible pain every day. I had Endo that grew through my bladder and all over my pelvic walls- it hurt to sit, it hurt to pee, basically it hurt all the time...I had a surgery in May 2016 with another doctor who cauterized my Endo. Within two weeks the pain was back and even worse. I felt like there was never going to be hope for pain relief. I googled all the time and got yelled at by my family because I was told to stop researching treatment options, just let my body heal from the first surgery and I will start to feel better- WRONG! I researched Dr. Martin Robbins and felt like there was actually hope for me. He got me into surgery within a few weeks of my initial consult in August 2016 and I have never felt better. He truly is a miracle worker. Even my family tells me how wrong they were and that working with Dr. Robbins was one of the best decisions I have made. I did some pelvic physical therapy after my excision surgery with Dr. Robbins and he continues to ask how I feel- I feel incredible!!! If you have Endo, use Dr. Robbins- He's skilled and compassionate. Recently my husband called the office about an insurance question and Dr. Robbins personally spoke to him to check up on me and help us out. No other doctor out there like him. Five hundred characters is not nearly enough space to share just how amazing Dr. Robbins is! If I had to choose one way to explain him, I would call him a gift. A gift to women struggling a highly misunderstood and silent disease, endometriosis. I have never met such a kind, genuine and truly caring doctor. I'm so grateful I found this doctor and would recommend him to any woman in a heartbeat if they struggle with pelvic pain. Forever thankful!

Dr. Robbins is the kindest, most well educated physician I have ever encountered (&I work in healthcare with thousands of different physicians!). His bedside manner was phenomenal &he won over the hearts of my most skeptical family members. I underwent endometriosis excision surgery &have been 100% pain free for the first time since puberty. The greatest thing I have ever done for my health was take that leap of faith &trust Dr. Robbins with my health &my well-being. Thank you Dr Robbins!

Dr. Robbins is unlike any other medical provider I have ever met. He is kind, attentive, compassionate and extremely skilled. He has helped me immensely with my endometriosis/ adenomyosis/ tender uterus. Truly, he is one in a million and I couldn't recommend him more, if you are suffering from the pain and stress that these diseases can cause. I'm so grateful to a friend who referred me to him. Please research excision surgery and its benefits, should you struggle with these same issues!

After years of struggling with debilitating pain I found Dr. Robbins website. I found the information invaluable and I knew I wanted to see if he could help me. He took time with me, took a complete history, and explained what he does. I knew he could help me. I liked that he was honest and knowledgable. He got me in for surgery right away and a year later I am still completely pain free. He gave me back my life. I'm forever grateful and I highly recommend him.

Our OB/GYN referred us to another surgeon who referred us to Dr. Robbins because he used "special tools". Dr. Robbins was very kind in our consult and gave us a lot of hope. We scheduled the surgery. My wife was called at work ten days before the surgery by his office staff and told we had to come up with $800 before the surgery. I questioned why they waited until such late date to request the money instead of giving us time to come up with it. I then called the woman and told her I would be able to come up with the money in time. Meanwhile Dr. Robbins canceled the surgery and told us it was because we didn't have the right attitude. He also said he already scheduled someone else in our time. He claimed we were a problem right from the beginning and when I asked for an example since this is the first time we had a problem he could not give us one. The only thing we could think of was that we don't have credit cards and couldn't give his office one when we came for our first consult. The next day MMC called to ask pre-op questions and was surprised to find we weren't scheduled because it was still booked "for us". Basically I expressed concern about finances so Dr. Robbins kicked us out for someone who had no financial worries. Meanwhile my wife's tumor continues to grow and cause significant pain while we start the process all over with a surgeon who understands that being worried about finances is responsible and that working people have to be concerned about huge deductibles. He also told us not to worry because the tumor is benign. Pretty good since there has never been a biopsy! He might be a good surgeon but you better be rich or on welfare because money is more important than your health. Dr. Robbins is one of the kindest, most approachable and competent doctors I've encountered. He listened to me about the pain I was experiencing and did not try to minimize it. In a world where you can expect to maybe have 10-15 minutes with a doctor total, Dr. Robbins took an hour or more for an exam and to sit down and explain his thoughts and answer questions. After my surgery, I had day and night access to him via email and personal phone number - unheard of. Dr Robbins is truly a gem.
