Dr. Mary L. Stedman

Put me on 8 medications and was using me as an experiment of hers. She then hospitalized me to get me off all the meds. Now I'm on 1 medication and see another physician. She should be reported to the medical board for malpractice. Beware!

Dr. Stedman is actually very nice and my experience has gotten much better. I am now in the TMS Maintenance stage and I am optimistic. I didn’t give 5 stars because I did have a bit of a rough go at first, but after adjusting dosage and placement, it is much better. Hopefully this will be effective.

Mary has worked with me for a number of years now and always gives proper medical health evaluation for me personally. I highly advise her for anyone who has mental health needs. She is caring, compassionate and thorough with her work.

Would not schedule appointment because my situation was to complicated! Her exact words! Smh. What kind of doctor says that. I would totally avoid this place in my opinion. I’ve never ever heard a doctor say that before!! Wow!!!

It's been a roller-coaster ride but Dr. Stedman has always been there for me, even on weekends. Dr. Stedman has helped me get out of a major depression that I have had for years. She really spends a lot of time and finds out about you and your issues. She did a special test that identified mold in my system and other deficiencies and addressed them. She is very responsive, kind and caring. I'm grateful to her that I'm feeling so much better. Kind and compassionate.

I called Dr. Stedman's office to make an appointment as a new patient. I am a senior citizen and explained to Crystal the receptionist that I needed the Dr.'s help in managing my medications. I told her I was on Medicare and had excellent secondary insurance. She hesitated and told me the Dr. would have to think about and decide if she would accept me as a patient. I just received a call that she would not see me...no explanation, just no. Is this a medical professional in the field of mental health that just arbitrarily decides whether or not she wants to help you for reasons only known to her? If you are looking for a Psychiatrist as I was, I would pass this woman by as fast as you can.

Dr. Stedman is the most caring doctor I have ever visited, she takes her time in her evaluation, she is an excellent listener and absolutely does not interrupt when you are trying to open up. I have been to other similar doctors in which they only spend 5 to 10 mins, give you an Rx and see you in a month. Dr. Stedman is in class on her own in excellence, her staff is friendly and you dont feel out of place. I look forward to my next appointments! Dr. Stedman and her staff have been a pleasure to work with. She practices state of the art clinical trials and has been able to give us the information we need to move forward.

No, called front staff, was told excepting new patients, I called back because they were never calling me back and finally the lady I presume made a decision not to see me anymore and said this. We are no longer excepting new patients and then with a tone on her voice said OK? The OK was certainly indicated to say please disconnect the phone now sir. At that time I thought it was best to search for another route. No, don't go.

Dr. Stedman is very Homeopathic and will avoid prescribing medications. She is very thorough in her diagnosing methods and very helpful when trying to help me cope with my diagnosis of Depression and Anxiety. She takes very good care of her patients and her staff is very helpful. I highly recommend her.
