I had to cancel one appointment and he discharged me as a patient and I had been seeing him for almost 5 years. What a shame.

Dr Matthew Baker is an excellent doctor for MS in the Naples..I wouldn't go anywhere else..

Dr Baker has been treating my Parkinson’s for 18 years!! He’s excellent in every capacity and I wouldn’t ever want to be without his services! He also has an excellent office staff!!

Dr. Baker has been my neurologist for over a decade. Dr. Baker and his assistant Tracy are courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable in their field. Good people who are truly concerned.

Dr. Matthew Baker is a true professional and a pleasure to meet. He is very knowledgable in his field and tries to help with your medical problems. He is above and beyond all the other neurological doctors we have met in the Lee County area showing compassion for a rare disease. I would highly recommend him.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of my mothers doctors over the years as she has had MANY medical problems. I can tell you with 100% certainty he is by far the most caring doctor she has had in the last 15 years!! Many of the doctors down here brushed her off or just threw medication at her to mask the issues. Dr Baker stood by her all these years believing in her that her issues are in fact real ( most tests came up negative over the years with him as well as other doctors etc..) he believed that regardless of the negative tests she did/does in fact have certain neurological/autoimmune disorders. WOW!! Has he been spot on!! Now that her illnesses are surfacing and showing themselves he’s proven to be 100% RIGHT about everything he thought may have been the sources! He’s exploring EVERY avenue regardless. He’s an AMAZING,CARING,COMPASSIONATE & EXTREMELY KIND HEARTED PERSON AND DOCTOR.. One that obviously remembers why he got into the field to begin with! He and Tracey treat his patients like actual people and actually cares how they feel. Rather than most of these doctors down here.. others doctors rush in and out if you get to see them at all!! Him and Tracey make a great team there!! She ALWAYS gets right back to my mother and she herself is very caring and compassionate!! I will admit it’s not always easy to get in as he is in high demand.. why wouldn’t he be. You know what they say.. good or is his case GREAT things come to those who wait. Dr. Baker is by far one of the top doctors in Naples. Admittedly it is very hard to get an appointment with him but if you can wait, he is truly worth waiting for! He is compassionate, caring, personable and genuinely cares for his patients. He asks many questions and in doing so gets to know his patients both personally and medically. He gives you ample time to ask questions and he explains things in easy-to-understand terms. Once you become his patient you feel safe, secure and in good, trusted hands. THANK YOU DR. BAKER!

Dr. Baker is an outstanding and compassionate doctor. He reads all your kedical records and collaborates with other specialists. I rate him five stars. He listens carefully, is very patient and open minded about finding the correct treatment for my chronic fatigue from a head injury.

I had one appointment with Dr. Baker and never even saw him, i saw the nurse practitioner. She was great but after that i had another appt to see the Dr and they rescheduled me three times and took over a month to finally look at my MRI's due to a tumor i have, so kind of an important situation. Said everything looked great even though 4 other Dr's saw the tumor and then was told Dr. Baker would call me or they would make an appointment with me and it has been about 2 months since then, I dont recommend him because it seems like he has no time to actually see patients. I can't say enough about Dr.Baker and his fantastic assistant Tracey. When I think I've had enough of this horrible disease, they are there. I wouldn't be this far without them. Dr. Baker referred my wife for an MRI so that he could compare it to a previous MRI and rule out any changes. Within only a few hours on the same day he called us to tell us the results. Amazing turn around time and unexpected same day consultation. I recommend him highly to anyone needing a neurologist in SW Florida.

Very understanding and compassionate. Communicates in laymen's terms and explains what you do not understand. I am so glad I found him and his staff.

Get off all meds and you may fit in; otherwise??? Good luck or maybe it's a money thing here?

I see Dr Baker for Multiple Sclerosis. He is very well educated about this disease. I travel 3hrs to his office, and it's all worth it.

Tried unsuccessfully to get an appointment. Received a return phone call days after my first attempt and I was given the instructions on how to be seen. Its been weeks since then and two follow up calls have gone unanswered. I guess it must be great once you become a patient but becoming a patient seems almost impossible.

Dr Baker has earned my total trust and respect! He's excels in the treatment of Parkinson's and Restless Leg! He surrounds himself with an excellent and knowledgeable staff!

My husband and I found Dr. Baker several months ago. We were both very frustrated with the neurologist he had been seeing for Parkinsons. Dr. Baker is fabulous; he listened to all our concerns, when my husband asked for a new DAT scan Dr. Baker ordered it and indeed he had been misdiagnosed by previous neurologists for more than 4 years. After eliminating all the other possibilities he recommended a shunt in the brain to remove excess spinal fluid. Surgery was done by Dr. Gary Colon April 2. My husband is now walking with no problems, no cane or walker, and his mental attitude has totally improved. We highly recommend Dr. Mathew Baker for neurological problems. Dr Baker is the most caring doctor I have ever met. During my son’s illness, he was the only sympathetic and knowledgeable doctor caring for him. He gave him all the comfort and attention needed. For that, Dr Baker will never be forgotten. I highly recommend him if this is the type of doctor you and your family are looking for.

I've had MS for 17 yrs and before moving to south Florida went to Cleveland Clinic's Mellen Center. Dr. Baker is definitely on the same level, and I'm so glad I found him. Knowledgeable, thorough, fabulous bedside manner. His nurse, Tracy, is wonderful too.

The most kind hated Dr I have ever met! He makes his patients feel like they're the most important people and his world!

Very kind and compassionate doctor. He seems like a gentle soul. I feel lucky to have him as my neurologist and he is doing everything he can to make this process of dealing with a neurological disorder much easier.

What can I say one of the Best, most caring, and knowledgeable Neurologist that I have ever been in contact with. He is so up to date on all new treatment, tells you options. Dr. Baker is kind and caring. He is unlike any other Neurologist that I have met. He went the extra mile for me after my stroke in 2012. I would recommend him to anyone. I am still searching for a new Neurologist like him since I moved from Naples, FL

27 years of ms and not 1 of many neurologists have ever gone over my MRI's! Dr Baker was very thorough and explained what each spot on the MRI films was causing what the symptoms were. I usually come out furious when I have left my neurologists I've had in Fl. Literally came out on the 1st visit with Dr Baker and his nurse Tracy with a smile on my face. And I don't smile much. W O W

Hands down the BEST doctor I have ever seen!!!!! Very caring, spends time with you and actually listens and cares what you have to say!! I recommend him every chance i get. Also Tracey his medical assistant is GREAT! shes on top of everything and always gets back to you and tries to get you in asap.

Dr. Baker is a wonderful caring and experienced doctor. Moving here from Rochester, NY at the University of Rochester a major MS center I needed a neurologist for my multiple sclerosis. Dr.Baker specializes in MS. He is current on all of the new technologies for ms. He never ever rushes you and listens to you and makes you feel like you are so important. He goes the extra miles for you and the office staff is wonderful. I am so blessed to have Dr. Baker for my neurologist.

Dr. Baker was amazing to me while I was in NCH after having a major stroke at 44 yrs old. He checked on me many times and then became my Neurologist. He is caring and empathetic. He motivated me to want to be my best, even at my worst. He is a wonderful doctor.
