Dr. Matthew Gardner is a fantastic and very professional surgeon. My husband broke his leg and within the same week. Dr Gardner was able to get the surgery done the same week. Very thankful for him and his amazing nurses and the staff at the hospital.

Dr Gardner is positive and confident and brings a calm to the room. I don’t think you could ask for a better surgeon. AND his team is fabulous too! The hospital is fabulous. I just can’t speak highly enough about him. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, he should be a top choice always!! I will always chose him. Thank you Dr Gardener for repairing my husbands leg! Wanted to put off my shoulder surgery till next week because he is on vacation. Found another dr and will be having surgery tomorrow. Was not surgery that needed to wait. Very painful injury. Would not recommend him to anyone!

Broke my hip last year , he did an awesome job almost a year later and still doing good. Would highly recommend him

Dr. Gardner preformed hip surgery on my aunt and did an incredible job. He is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Springfield area!

Very personable great bedside manner I was a little bit hesitant and scared about going to the doctor for a broken wrist. Dr. Gardner made the experience a good one.

I vertically fractured my left patella. The next morning Dr. Gardner surgically repaired it, and now, 6 weeks later, it's healing properly, and I'm ready to begin physical therapy to regain strength and motion in my knee. Dr. Gardner and his team provided excellent care. He's kind and takes time to listen and to answer questions, in addition to being a terrific surgeon.
