Dr Maciel is attentive, professional,knowledgeable, caring and decisive. She always has the time to answer our questions. She truly cares about her patients and is involved in their trials,tribulations and shares in their triumphs.

Worst pediatric surgeon! Told us we would have to except that our daughter would never walk! Hey Dr. Maciel....She walks! No thanks to you. If you are put in front of this Dr. Get up and leave. Never take hope from a parent and never tell a determined child they won't walk!

Dr. Maciel has been God sent to help our princess Kaley M Fondeur! We have 1000% trust in her judgement when dealing with the care of our daughter, who was born with a condition identified as PFFD. Kaley will be undergoing, what we prey is her last procedure, under Dr Maciel's care this coming month. God bless her and the Shriner's Organization!!!!

Dr. Maciel has been so amazing! She is has been working with my son for about a year, he was born with clubbed feet and hip dysplasia. Through all of his casting and surgeries she has always walked us through each step and let us know how everything was going to go so that we would have no surprises. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in her work. We are so lucky to have her as his doctor!

I came all the way form PR with my High Hopes that my Baby was going to get the best treatment from this Doctor, but Sadly when i was trying to tell the Dr. Maureen Maciel,MD about the different procedures that my baby had been through she got obsess and say i don't need this and left just because i didn't understand her methods. That's very unprofessional and said a lot from this person, my baby deserve the best Doctor and human been in the world. He already has been through two procedures and has suffer a lot just need some comprehension and TLC. After traveling to see this doctor, at the insistence of the pediatrician, she made us feel like we were wasting her time. Abrupt and short in her talking with us. My son said she acted 'cold' in his opinion. Seemed clueless about other diagnoses that already exists. For a hospital, it wasn't the cleanest either. Waste of time, money, energy. Won't return for her 'follow up' to nothing in 6 months.
