Dr Shah is fine, unfortunately his staff (Lisa) is rude

Curtiest, friendly, knowledgeable, soft spoken, spent as much time as we needed to answer our questions. Explained procedure, what to expect, pros and cons, follow up plan, and then asked us what concerns we had.

Very thorough and professional

Dr Shah has taken great care of several of my family members as well as friends. I would definitely refer him to anybody in need of his services.

De shah is very friendly and knowledgeable. His office staff is friendly and efficient. I recommend them to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

Seemed nice but as the minutes ticked by and he talked to me, I became more and more leery that he knew what he was talking about - I came in for irregular heartbeat on my primaries suggestion and when he listened with a stethoscope, he kept saying 'can't you feel that?' Hmmmm.....no! He did not mention doing an ekg or stress test....just had bad vibes. So I went to another doc - a woman - who immediately did an ekg plus stress test and showed me I did not have an irregular heartbeat, just every few beats it was faint. ....another point - the office team seemed super stressed and were not friendly at all - like they couldn't stand being there

I love Dr Shah! But they only get a 3 star rating because it it impossible to get meds refilled!

As a personality rating, I give him a 5+. He is kind and appears caring. I was a bit surprised he wasn't aware of Graves/hyperthyroid's impact on heart. Yet I still feel he is knowledgeable overall. Unfortunately, the scheduling staff really messed up & I only got 5 minutes of his time on second visit. My medical history notes incorrect and I needed advice on the type of heavy physical work I do, & on future issues w/BBB & murmur. Wrote letter & it was never answered. Calls waste of time

I gave Dr Shah 5 stars at first. When I first came to him he was very attentive. Now that I've had my surgery he reminds me of a bad car salesman. He say and do all the right things until he gets what he wants (money). And now don't have time for you. I had my ICD implant May 1, 2017. Today is July 27th. I have yet to get my short term Disibility check from being out because he refuse to fill out the paperwork. I had to threaten legal action for the paper work for FMLA to be filled out. My job was on the line and he could care less. Do you know how hard it is to come up with sooo much money for surgery, be out an entire month and try to bounce back when your bank account is 0. I had to go back to work early because I still have bills that need to be paid. Everything is turned in all I am waiting for is his paperwork. I've called so much his staff know my # and pick up the phone and say "hi Taletha". I thought I found a good doctor. He's good as long as it's benefiting him. He got the 120,000 plus for my surgery. I am beyond pissed and in disbelief of the Blanton disregard he has for his patients well being. I don't know what to do next. I just want my money so I can catch up. I'm hoping it's his lazy assistant putting it off on him saying he just don't have time. I think it's her Ass. She will answer the phone and transfer me to her voicemail. Very professional ... Loved the staff and Dr Shah...he is very thorough..great????

Dr. Shah is an excellent cardiologist. He takes time to answer all my questions. He is caring and approaches my issues in a conservative manner which I appreciate. The office staff is tremendous.

His staff are amazing and very pleasant to work with!

Saved my mother's....referred by staff at Banner Hospital as the "go to" doctor for cardio issues. Husband also a patient and provided excellent care and now I am also a patient. Recommend him to all. Staff excellent in his office too.

We found Dr. Shah through Banner Hospital in Mesa several years ago when my mother had heart issues after a colon surgery. Had it not been for Dr. Shah, she would have passed. The staff at the hospital they would send their family/themselves only to Dr. Shah. Subsequently my husband also with some heart issues has been a patient of Dr. Shah's and his health now in excellent condition. Now...it is apparently my turn. He is an excellent doctor and we have recommended him to all our friends.
