Dr. Michael James Nemanich

I highly recommend Dr Nemanich for your orthopedic care. Especially for knees /leg problems. Very thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate and easy to talk with. I have never felt rushed there, he gives you a good explanation for your issues and what to expect in recovery.

My expierence with Dr. Nemanich has been great. He explains things well and listen to my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who may have knee problems.

I love Dr. Nemanich. He has done a bunch of my surgeries and I trust him completely. He is personable and easy to talk to. He answers all my questions and warns me of the dangers.

Dr Nemenich is an excellent surgeon, and I highly recommend him! I was walking without a cane or walker 8 days post-op and have had minimal pain. I followed his instructions exactly and I was back to my normal life, two and a half weeks later. My scar is pale in color and healing well. There are a lot of surgeons out there; Dr. Nemenich is skilled and has a lot of experience. You can feel assured that you will have a successful surgery.

Dr. Nemanich recently replaced my right hip. The procedure went very smoothly and he did a fabulous job of keeping me informed before, during, and after the operation. Michael is a fabulous physician and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Nemanich gave me my life back, there are no words to say how grateful I am! His compassionate manner, authentic connection, and genuine concern were some of the reasons I made the decision to choose him for my bilateral hip replacement. I came through two complete hip replacements with immediate pain relief, and rapid recovery. I went back to work 2 weeks after each surgery, a new person. I never could have imagined I could live pain free, and be able to regain my freedom to live the life of my choosing. We are very happy with the care we are receiving from Dr. Michael Neminach. He is very good at explaining all the options and a great listener.

Recently injured in an accident, Dr Nemanich and his team gave me outstanding care! Their consideration for my well-being was demonstrated over and over again by making every effort possible. I’m humbled and very grateful!

I was able to get an appt within two days of my call. Dr Nemanich evaluated the problem and I was set up to receive a cortizone injection at another facility the next day. Very impressed with his care and efficiency of staff at TCO and Rayus Radiology.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nemanich for a number of years. He is a tremendous physician who takes great care of his patients. He takes time to listen and explain circumstances. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.

Sincerely disappointed in this physician. He was unable to give me a proper diagnosis on my knee issues. He sent me to get an MRI on my knee and we never heard back after the MRI. No follow up, no calls, just left in the dark. Just so disappointed in this doctor's lack of communication and lack of diagnosis.

Hip replacement almost 14 years ago and still as good as new. Dr. Michael Nemanich is a highly skilled surgeon and has a great demeanor, worth all five stars, definitely.

I have been a patient of Dr M Nemanich for about fourteen years. He skillfully and professionally helped me navigate s deteriorating knee and then was my surgeon for a total knee replacement. I have always felt I was in the best, most competent hands with Dr Nemanich. What I also appreciate about him is his bedside manner. I am a retired nurse and know doctors and surgeons. And Dr N’s manner is relaxed and friendly and truly concerned for his patients comfort snd well being. I cannot recommend Dr Nemanich strongly enough. I have seen Dr. Michael Nemanich with TCO for over 10 years, 3 surgeries and pre and after care. He's an amazing surgeon and just as good of a person. He is a great listener and is kind patient. So much so that when leaving a 2 week checkup after I fractured my ankle and had surgery, he heard me say that I'd had a dry cough. He came back in the office and asked if I'd consider going across the street and having an ultrasound to make sure that I didn't have any blood clots... even though it was uncommon with an ankle surgery. Less than an hour later I was at checked into Fairview South Hospital with blood clots. If he didn't "listen", I might not be here today! Jane Legaard - Dr. Nemanich gave me an injection of Synvisc in my right knee- I had no pain after he injected. He was very good and considerate. The injection was on June 2, and I have had no pain since then. Thank you, Doctor!

I had a hip replacement with Dr Nemanich about seven weeks ago and my new hip is doing very well. My sport requires good strength and flexibility and I am told I'll be able to do whatever I used to do, which is good to hear. Tco is well organized and the staff I encountered were very professional.

Dr. Michael Nemanich specializes in the anterior method of hip replacement (I highly recommend due to fewer restrictions post-surgery) and did a great job with me. Each person's recovery is different depending on individual circumstances. My recovery was very rapid with minimal pain. Dr. Nemanich and the care-givers at Fairview Southdale answered all my questions, thoroughly described what I might expect to experience as I recovered, and provided all the assistance I needed for my return home. I was walking and climbing stairs later on the day of surgery and was able to leave about 30 hours after I arrived for surgery. If I need my other hip replaced, I would do it with the same team and procedure. All aspects of the new patient visit with Dr. Nemanich were excellent! He took the appropriate amount of time to discuss a good plan for eliminating, or minimizing, left hip pain. I met with him last Tuesday, (May 11) and already had a cortisone shot today, May 13. The plan is to let the cortisone do its thing for three months, and then have the left hip replaced in the fall of 2021. Based upon our experience, we strongly recommend Dr. Nemanich and his team to anyone who is need of outstanding orthopedic care with persons that can be trusted. I have been a patient of Dr Nemanich for over 20 years. First for a broken arm (in three places), then over the years two medial meniscus tears, and a number of cortisone shots in knees and hips. He is a great Doctor and great surgeon. Always a good listener and explains everything from what is wrong to options for care and recovery. I have been a patient of Dr. Nemanich for about 17 years. He has performed two knee replacements for me, one in 2008 and the other in 2009 and the results have been excellent. The care that I have always received from him has been the very best. His bedside manner is always warm and gracious and he makes you feel like you're his only patient. It is always a pleasure to see him at checkup time. It feels like I'm visiting a dear old friend.

A visit after a fall on the ice and lots of pain. Asked good questions, compassionate, arranged for further treatment. Clear instructions for what to do at home, made sure we got all our questions answered before leaving.

On May 18th, I had my long-awaited left hip replacement surgery (postponed from March 30th due to the Covid-19 crisis) by Dr. Nemanich and his outstanding team of professionals. Dr. Nemanich was very professional, thorough, and empathetic from the diagnosis, procedure, and after-care. He always had time and patience to answer my questions with laypersons clarity. Besides his Professional skills, he has a great blend of humanity and humor in making me feel comfortable. Being that no visitors(Family) were allowed in the hospital, he was very gracious in contacting my wife/family informing them how the procedure went and my recovery was progressing, again taking the tiome to answer their questions. I would recommend Dr. Nemanich to anyone in need of Orthopedic care without reservation. AND, he comes with a wonderful, talented team.
