Worst place to vicit. They don't care about the patience. They only care about money. I vicit this office whit my wife because she had a injury and our insurance doctor was not able to see her. I agree to pay from my pocket and when they fin out my insurance won't cover surgery practicly the kid us out of the office whitout giving us any option of how to paid. They did not even blink to ask me if I can paid for it. Which I can. They also give us a wrong opinion of her injury two different optometrist said she not need surgery. I won't recommend anyone vicit this office.

Dr Michael Riggenbach is without a doubt the best hand orthopedic specialist on all of Florida. I have tried a few and he by far is the most knowledgeable. He also really takes his time to study my situation when I visit and explains to me in laymen terms what my problems are and the corrects the problem at hand perfectly (no pun intended). I have been to others and they do not compare. He is the definition of what a great doctor should be. I have also referred multiple people to him and they have all been extremely happy with him. The was my very first visit, it was amazing. Great patient service, showed concerns for me by really listening to me and very patient. Everyone was pleasant and professional. No long wait time. A+ from me for my overall visit. Thank You all

Every few months I’m incapable of using my hand - the pain radiates day and night. Dr R administers a few well placed shots and after a day or two I can use my hand as if the arthritis weren’t there.

Doc Riggenbach was great addressed my medical situation with immediate care. Got me in and out in one day. Much appreciated.

Dr offered a steroid injection to resolve pain and swelling, though when pressed noted the same conditions could be side effects. When I declined he suddenly became dismissive and rushed the appointment to conclusion. Offered no guidance on next steps or timing without being pressed. Very disappointed in this visit.

Dr. Riggenbach is an excellent , very professional and listens. I had terrible pain in my left shoulder he made sure I got the proper treatment. Problem resolved. I would recommend Dr Riggenbach for all my Orthopedic needs

I have yet to meet this doctor after two visits but his assistant is awesome.

Having some issues with index fingers on both hands. X-rays taken. Nothing out of ordinary. Tendons tight. Offered PT to stretch them. I chose to do it myself at home. Always feel comfortable with Dr Riggenbach.

Received great care from Dr Riggenbach. However, it took nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. My appointment was at 10:30am, and I was not seen until 11:25am.

I appreciate the fact that Dr. Riggenbach is very straightforward and easy to talk with. He explains his diagnosis and recommendations very clearly.

He is very professional, courteous, meticulous, thorough and trustworthy. He saw my son’s arm after he broke it in several places in a snowboarding accident, previous surgeon said he didn’t need surgery but Dr. R saw his X-rays and knew right away in order for him to heal properly he needed the surgery, little did he know he would have to practically reconstruct my son’s arm. We are still in the healing stage but we are so pleased with the results at this point.

Dr Riggenbach and his staff are great. He has taken excellent care of me throughout the entire process of my shoulder surgery and follow ups.

Dr. Riggenbach was very professional and was able to assess my hand and what was wrong with it. He definitely called my nerves after bringing out the needle for a shot or cortisone in my hand which I appreciate that. If I needed to go back or recommend I'll definitely request him.

Very very attentive staff! No wait time at all. Wonderful Doctor. My appointment was scheduled for 1:45, after checking in being seen by the Doctor I was in my car on my way home at 1:59. My visit was great!

I had a very nice experience from the time I entered the reception area until I left. Everyone was courteous and the doctor was really down to earth and pleasant. He had a very nice bedside manner and I would feel comfortable recommending him to anyone who needs an orthopedic doctor.

My first visit was prompt. Dr. Riggenbach was empathetic and knowledgeable. My second visit was a little rough at the front desk due to a mistake on my part. The situation was handled by someone behind the scene, and my appointment went on smoothly.

Spends very little time with you. Does not explain diagnosis in a timely manner. Contradicts the recommendations made by his PA whom I was seen for follow up after I had my surgery. He is a very good doctor, as far as I can tell. the wrist is progressing along nicely. I did not get to talk to the doctor after the surgery.

I saw doctor Riggenbach back in February 2021 and I was extremely dissapointed with him. I fell & broke my wrist & it did not heal properly was my dilemma. From the fall my right dominant wrist does not have full range motion up & down and I am unable to turn the palm of my hand up toward the ceiling. I had literally waited quite a few months to go to Orlando Orthopedic because the BCBS insurance that I had was not accepted by their office. I was told that they were good so I waited all the way till the first of the year to change insurance over just to be able to see doctor Riggenbach on my appointment his diagnosis was a flat out that he could not do anything for me in his own words. When I left his office I was totally distraught. Both my mom & aunt are RN's as I have also spoken to a few other nurses that ask me why would he tell me that? or such a thing? That he was literally "ASININE". As I asked him questions everthing that I said he batted down and lead me to believe that I would be a huge risk for infection that was absolutely not true at all. My circumstances are that I fell and fractured my wrist and when it healed back it left the ulna slightly longer than the radius bone. Every nurse that I've spoken to told me the same thing that it will just have to be rebroken and that is all. Since then I have gone to another doctor from Orlando Regional that is at your 17000 Porter Rd location that has advised, he certainly can do the surgery for me and all it will entail is rebreaking the radius bone, elevating it forward so that it will articulate with the ulna as it originally did. He will have to take a piece of bone from my hip potentially to compensate the lack of length of the radius, however it SURELY CAN BE DONE! Therefore, I give doctor Riggenback a HUGE FAT ZERO!! "0"!!! For not even wanting to TRY AT ALL!!! Orlando Regional needs to know about their doctors and how they are diagnosing patients. When I left his office I literally felt like it was TOTAL & SHEER DISCRIMINATION. As I'm advising that if you are a person of color stay away from this doctor because he will definitely make sure that you believe nothing can be done for yourself, but PRAISE GOD that I found another doctor that is way better than him & willing to go above and beyond and that is what makes for a competent physician. Unlike doctor Riggenbach that had only words of DISCOURAGEMENT for me! What a "TERRIBLE MAN" & a "TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE"!! Does not spend enough time with you to thoroughly explain things, My walk in closet is bigger than the waiting room, not good during a Covid disease.

I am 55 and have horrible arthritis in the big joint at the base of my thumb. It is painful beyond words and the paingreatly reduces my ability to use it. I’ve had it injected with cortisone several times over the years. I quit seeing my previous hand dr because the previous doctor (not this doctor!) was so needlessly impatient numbing the area and inattentive in inserting the needle. The end result of those precious experiences was a painful experience and poor relief. Dr. Riggenbach did it PERFECTLY. He numbed it really well and inserted the needle with care and precision. The end result is a completely pain free joint that feels FANTASTIC!!! He was GREAT. I would highly recommend him if you have arthritic joint pain in your hand that needs relief.

After a month of several attempts to fix a thorn wound in my hand, Dr Riggenbach was able to do the proper surgical procedure to cure the wound in a week.

When I arrived, the check in process was quick. As soon as I sat down, I was called back to an examination room. Then, Jay performed X-rays on both hands and walked me back to my room. Within minutes, Dr Riggenbach came into the room and gave me a diagnosis and my options. I received shots in both hands and out the door I was. It's been a week and my hands feel amazing!! I had an appointment with Dr. Riggenbach on December 11, 2020, at 3:30 pm EST. Within 30 minutes the nurse called me, and a few moments later radio tech took the X-ray of my little finger. Dr. Riggenbach came after about 10 minutes. It seemed like he did not look at the X-ray at all. He asked me why I am here? I briefly explained my problems. He was so stressed! He quickly answered my questions and went to the door. He did not finish the conversation with me. I asked him if he was in a rush. He replied that he is waiting for a call from the hospital. In a few moments, he left telling me to wait. A few moments later the nurse came in and showed me the way out. I told the nurse that the doctor was not finished with me. While I am in the patient room and paid for the consultancy, he should not ignore me! He does not deserve any STAR at all, but I have to put at least one to go through the rating. Stay away- Had surgery on my shoulder 2 years ago and have more problems then before. Very brief in answers. Talked to multiple people who experienced same surgery and all had a different timeline and protocol for what I followed. Had 2 appointments to discuss my problem and neither time did he come in the room to see me.

I did not see Dr. Riggenbach after suegery folliwup, I saw his PA. Both times the PA stepped out to take a call, so I did not speak with him but briefly and did not get all my questions asked.

i have had many experiences with him. I really like him a lot. last time, I had hurt my shoulder. I knew it was broken but was worried that it may had cracked it. Several x-rays and he told me good news. I like him a lot! He know what he doing!!
