Incredibly kind and a good listener
I had an excellent experience with Dr Rothkin on Teledoc!! He was warm, kind, smart, logical and very willing to work with my particular history and problem. I wish he was available to be my PCP. My problem is so simple, yet most doc's are very reluctant to trust me and what I need for my own chronic conditions when my specialist is unavailable. Not Dr Rothkin, he agreed with what I was asking for and even asked if he could do anything else for me. I wish him only the best!
Teladoc Doctor does not properly fill out orders to provide what he says he will. Then patient is left with no way of getting dit but making another appt. Poor Job!!! Would give zero stars if I could! If anyone else did their job like this, they would be fired!

Words can’t express how thankful I am that Dr. Rothkin was leading NW Hospital’s ER Team when I arrived by ambulance on June 8. I was alone, trying to stay calm, but was pretty scared inside. Dr. Rothkin immediately introduced himself to me and explained what was happening. His calm and compassionate demeanor instantly reassured me. Dr. Rothkin asked me thoughtful questions and was sincerely interested in understanding my situation. He took time to listen to my answers and was readily available during my stay. The ER staff including EMT’s clearly respect Dr. Rothkin - not because of his title, but because he is a true leader. Thank you Dr. Rothkin and team for all you do for our community every day! This man is a godsend to the emergency medical practice. His bedside manner is above par and he delivers nothing but the best to ensure you are comfortable in his care. I wish he was my primary!!!!!

I've been a patient at Northwest for many years and when I go to the ER and realize Dr.Michael Rothkin is seeing me I'm elated. He is very caring and knowledgable. He has great bedside manner. He actually listens to you the patient and orders appropriate medication. There were a few times I went and he admitted me which was a good call because I ended up staying for over a week. Thank you Dr. Rothkin for caring about your patients.!!
