I don’t take these reviews lightly, but what others have said is true…this office seemingly does not care about nor respect their patients. Countless calls for records were ignored and when contact was finally made, the response was flippant and cavalier. Perhaps they should all find a different line of work that doesn’t involve responsibility for supporting the well-being of others. Namaste

I am a former patient and was in need of records from Dr. Banks' office for life insurance. The life insurance company was reportedly receiving no responses from the office so I began to call...I left no less than five messages and never received a return call. It's quite sad that a psychiatric office would be so flippant in regard to a patient's process for securing life insurance.

A family member was having some issues and he tried to contact him for an appointment He never returned the call and the result was an ER admission.. so uncaring

This office does not care about patients. Impossible to reach even during office hrs. Patient abandonment. Instead of them telling you they will not treat you with different insurance they simply stop returning your calls and leave you with no refills

Waited forever to be seen for a quick dismissive 10minute appointment before he diagnosed me with an incorrect diagnosis. Prescribed a slew of medication that had horrible side effects. I stopped seeing him. Saw someone else who told me his diagnosis was wrong. Went from 5+ prescriptions this man wrote to 1.

I’ve always found him to be an excellent doctor. I’ve been seeing him for the past 6 years. His office staff is always friendly and while the visits are always pretty fast, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Also there is almost never a wait at the office.

I have been seeing Dr. Banks since childhood and have always received very good care by him. He is a very genuine and caring doctor who is on top of the latest research. Staff is also very kind and will return calls right away.

Dt banks only cares about his bank account. The 2 minutes my son spent in his office was to request meds recommended by his friends. His issues were worse after after his visits. He was not a opiod addict. Unfortunately he passed away on fathers day. God rest his soul.

Not recommended if you want to get in touch with this doctor. My sister would try to call him. The machine would pick up, even during office hours. His staff would not relay messages and were rude. The doctor only called my sister back after my other sister left an angry message to call her. I even called the machine and instead of Dr. Banks, his covering doctor called back.. Dr. Banks kept telling my sister he did not get her messages. Horrible way to run a practice. Stay away!

Avoid at all cost! Quick 10-15 minute visits could care less about helping you packed out appointment nooks for maximum insurance billing to be produced for maximum profits!!!!Just to get rich !doctor and secratary are husband and wife and the secratary is as bad at it gets never answers the phone always answering machine picks up!Two rich idiots health professinals at their best ripping off health care as much as they can stay farrrrr away i swear!!!

Dr. Banks listened to our concerns ,was very thorough in explaining his diagnosis and why and how he came to that conclusion, he explained how to treat with medication, explained what the medication was meant to do and what side effects could be expected, and how some medications work for some patients better than others and it could take some time to see results. He was caring, kind and really concerned. He put us at ease, we were very comfortable with him.

He will give you the medicines that you want and request. However, he told me that I could A) check myself into a hospital because he was unwilling to work with me to lower and in my case completely come off of the benzodiazepines...
