Dr. Chavkin was nice and spent the time to listen to my issues and explain why I was having my jaw problems. He gave me solutions the pain I sometimes have. He never made me feel rushed.

I went to the Melville office today to get my wisdom teeth removed. I’m always nervous when going to get any procedure done in my mouth! but the staff and the Dr. Was great! I didn’t feel a thing I was nervous about being awake during the procudre but the sedation the dr used helped calm my nerves, it was a quick and painless procedure, the office is so clean, the doctor explained everything to me. I highly recommend going here!

My experience at Dr. Chavkin’s office was terrific. It was my first time having a tooth extracted and I didn’t really know what to expect. My procedure involved a molar extraction, replacement with an implant along with a bone graph. The process was quick, painless and pleasant as Calvin Harris’ music played in the background. My procedure took place at Dr. Chavkin’s Melville office which is extremely clean and functional. His staff is very prompt, courteous and helpful with professional advice. I’ve already recommended his services to my sister, as I was walking from his office to my car, and would gladly recommend it to anyone in need of a great oral surgeon. I consider Dr Chavkin to be a great dental surgeon . I found it necessary to use his services on numerous occasions. Although I dread having to have teeth removed, he made the procedure very calming and pain free. I have utmost confidence in his ability and professionalism.

Was able to squeeze me in 2 hours from my call on an emergency. I was in a lot of pain and he fixed me right up.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chavkin since he joined the practice of Tillman & Colaccio. When he went to his own practice I went with him. He has delivered quality care with the many implants I have ( approx 14. ). My family members have had a good experience with Dr Chavkin.

The office was well organized and efficiently run. Everything appeared clean and orderly. Dr Chavkin did an excellent extraction…felt no pain or discomfort. I received complete post instructions. I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes.

My experience was excellent! Doc and staff were professional and confident which made me comfortable with my procedure. Everything went according to plan and the staff sent me home with verbal and written instructions. It was everything you could ask for when faced with a med procedure. Didn't realize that I had to specify that I wanted general anesthesia to have my wisdom tooth removed, but so glad that I just got local because I didn't feel a thing when the dentist pulled it! Highly recommend him and his office staff. The office is very clean with modern equipment . My daughter already scheduled an appointment for herself.

Saw Dr Chavin for extraction of my infected wisdom tooth. I waited only a few minutes long enough to fill out the new patient information and then I was in for an X-ray and treatment. Dr. Chavin was great told me what he was going to do overall and then every step took a moment to tell what would happen next. Answered all my questions and gave me options. Office staff from his dentist assistant to the billing and receptionist were polite and personable. Everything went so well I'm strongly considering changing to this office. I wanted to comment on the presentation for now- of the staff and Dr. Chavkin.. My experience was excellent. Walked in with my daughter as a first time patient. After filling out the forms, we exchanged insurance information with the very courteous staff. Dr. Chavkin was great- for wisdom tooth removal he used our existing x-ray (no over-charge) from the our general dentist. He was professional, courteous and friendly. My daughter loved him and felt comfortable. He is nice and listens great.

I came here to bring one of my foster kids and he was rude no eye contact giving me his back while speaking to him wasn't a very welcoming office wouldn't recommend it to no one I believe if your getting work done you should be greeted in a very welcoming matter

Had my bottom two wisdom teeth removed by him back in 2011. Everything went nice and smooth and was over in 40 minutes. No complications afterwards either.

Dr. Chavkin has pulled out the wrong tooth and I ended up with an infection which I was hospitalized for. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommend this office. Had two dental surgeries and both were preformed excellently. Office worked around my schedule for my appointments and I left each time with ease and no pain the next day! Great office with a friendly staff!!
