In 2018, I had an endoscopy performed by Dr. Gerbabi...I literally walked out of that office with GERD which has changed my life...sleep sitting up, must take acid inhibitor drugs for the rest of my life (including side effects) and generally, have had to deal with heartburn 24/7. It's easy to retire from a Medical Practice but the effects on a patient are a life-sentence!

Dr. Arbadi did an Endiscopy. The only symptom I informed him of was " occasionally, I had a little swallowing difficulty" and "one time" I had severe pain in my stomach...all of which had resolved by the time I visited him. However, he suggested a colonoscopy and endiscopy and I thought why not. He gave me pentraprozole (to reduce the acid in my stomach) ...there was no acid before the procedures. He performed the procedures, however, for the endoscopy, he widened my esophagus by inserting a baloon whatever! All of this for ONE time pain and periodic difficulty in swallowing? I would have dealt with his over abundance of whatever, until, it now resulted in EXTREME GERD which I never had before. What the heck did he do? I slept for weeks sitting up. Came off the Petrazanapole cold-turkey as it made my joints and muscles weak to the extent I could hardly walk...check out the side effects of this medicine! I didn't need ANY of it and now my digestive system is screwed for life!
