Did thorough evals in person and through assistant taking many readings. Verified that heart had somehow healed itself from prior palpitations and bad EKG pulses. Answered question posed 1 year after visit through messaging, very well technically.

I just had my first appointment with Dr Ahmed after leaving another cardiologist that I had been seeing for 3 years. He gets my vote for sure. Dr is very soft spoken, a good listener, takes his time and doesn't rush and seems genuinely interested and concerned with his patients' issues. I am so happy I made the change and look forward to a long relationship with him. Additionally, his office staff was outstanding. Highly recommend

Dr. Ahmed was very pleasant, on-time, explained things very well. I had some other testing he ordered, got that taken care of and have called his office 4 so far over the last month to find out the results. I received his bill very quickly but have not had the courtesy of a returned call to date from his staff!

Excellent Top Doctor @ Scripps. Dr Ahmed is one of 4 cardiologist I see for my heart conditions. They are the top doctors in San Diego and #4 in the world. He knows your history, he listens and cares, then sends you to the best doctors to resolve your particular heart issues. 5 Stars~ GMN

He actually read my chart before coming in. Knew my history and had some questions regarding it. He listened well and had excellent clinical skills

He is a great doctor. Very knowledge and friendly. Explains everything you ask him very clear. Would definitely recommend him.

As a physician and surgeon, I can personally attest that Dr. Riaz Ahmed is an OUTSTANDING PHYSICIAN and a fantastic and caring human being! Thank you, Dr. Ahmed, for what you have done for me and for my wife! We are TRULY GRATEFUL! There's not enough room here. But just let me say that Dr. Ahmed is closed minded and does not brook anyone not going along with pharmaceutical company and AMA recommendations. He told me I was using flat earth thinking not knowing that I am a trained physicist with a minor in mathematics. Don't go to Dr. Ahmed if you think for yourself! He said I shouldn't be getting my information from the internet and blogs. I know a lot of doctors who read their journals online Dr. I read those online too!

Too often doctors minimize or don't really listen to patient's concerns, not Dr. Ahmed. Right from the start he put me at ease. I never once felt judged regarding any of my concerns. He's helped me make necessary changes in my life that has and will forever improve the quality of my life and hopefully its duration; I'm very grateful to him for both. Plus, he has the kindness and most efficient staff.

Had a wonderful experience - took a great deal of time and was genuinely concerned. In my first visit we put a starting game plan together - I feel very comfortable. Staff was both friendly and professional. Based on my experience - would recommend Dr. Ahmed highly.
