Dr. Nabil A Ebraheim

Horrible experience, Dr. Had taken bone out of wrong hip, when he specifically explained the reason for not taking from that hip. Prior to my surgery they had made a body cast and leg brace that I would wear after surgery, needless to say now the leg brace was on the wrong leg. Unfortunately I had a failed fusion. Then Dr. Abraheim offered to do another surgery for free. I was done at this point with him.

Dr Ebraheim is the best of the best! He’s been our family’s orthopedic surgeon for years. He was my husbands doctor after a tree stand accident for spine compression. He was also my daughter’s doctor for a severe ankle fracture. They are both doing great after very serious accidents - thanks to Dr Ebraheim and his team.

Worst Dr I have ever seen I have been told by other Dr's I need surgery and his solution is to give me injections. I asked if these were to help and he said they are only to prolong surgery for a year or so. When I said I wanted to just have the surgery he passed me to another Dr in the hospital.

EASILY HANDS DOWN THE WORST ORTHO EXPERIENCE!!!!! Took over my care upon transferring from hospital in Michigan where my 12 hour marathon surgeries took place and was supposed to check my surgical incisions on my right ankle as original surgeon was concerned about incision healing due to skin integrity and they x-rated and checked my left arm my left knee and NEVER BOTHERED to remove bandage and examine right anklewhen I tried to ask hey I am supposed to have the right ankle stitches removed and assessed for cast they treated me like a complete hypochondriac!! Left the ORIGINAL bandage I was transferred to Toledo on and after 9 days finally had doctor at rehab facility remove bandage and had necrosis area 4×4 on my ankle was a very PAINFUL 2 months of wound therapy to remove dead tissue and close incision and actually suggested a skin graft by Ebrahim to close wound and I am a MRSA carrier with an active infection in my ankle.STEER CLEAR OF THIS MAN!! the person i had to call to schedule my appointment was rude and claimed i was not referred there because i would have been called the same day. After i gave her my information she put me on hold then claimed that yes i was referred there but the doctor that referred me made a mistake so they didnt get notified. As for my appointment everything went well until the doctor walked into the room. He was rude to the other doctors and staff right in front of me then turned his rudeness to me when i failed to bring items that they never informed me to bring. Then he said he would do an ultrasound but would not interrupt his schedule so i had to wait another hour in the room until he was free enough to take a look. He looked at my knee for 30 second then just referred me to a different doctor that said they couldn't see me for 2 months. They also prescribed me pain medication but i had to wait days to receive because they didnt even sign off on my chart. I highly recommend Doctor Nabil Ebraheim. He helped me tremendously with my bad shoulders and also helped my sister inlaw Carol N. walk again after being Paralyzed for a year due to a vehicle accident the surgery he performed on her no one ever tried to perform it in the United States. He also helped a friend of ours Scott G. Walk again he operated on him fixing a shattered heel and foot after a farm accident. Doctor Ebrheim is very talented and has great knowledge on what he is doing, I trust him in anything he does. I've been trying to schedule an appointment with this office for over a week. No one ever calls me back and when I finally get in touch with the office staff Caitlyn was rude, highly unprofessional and argumentative. Based off the attitude of the staff I would recommend any other doctor but this one.

Never ever would we go to UTMC or the Orthapedic Center again. I've seen this DR a total of less than 15 minutes in 4 weeks. He relies on PA's and residents to do the dirty work. After a PA told me I could use my arm, 24 hrs later I'm told Ebraheim wanted it braced NOW. It's a holiday weekend, and I live an hour away. I fell off of a building in 2013 and broke alot of bones in my left leg ankle and foot..my surgery was very difficult and Dr.Ebrahiem put me back together and today i can walk normally . i never expected to be able to walk right again. Thx to Utmc

Best orthopedic surgeon I have had the pleasure of seeing. I basically feel as if he saved my life.. you may not get to see him at every appointment but you are at a learning hospital. He is passing his knowledge to other upcoming doctors to be as wonderful as he is. I had a crush injury of my lower left leg. My initial surgeries were done by another doctor were I was told I may never walk again. After my first surgery I was healing a nonunion break in both my tibia and fibula. Feel as if he has been as godsend to my life. Just recently had my hardware removed due to knee pain and looking forward to a new lifestyle change and hope it only get better from here. Dr. Ebraheim is amazing! He does incredible work! I had fractured elbow in 3-4 spots from a bad vehicle accident and needed surgery With plates and screws put i! I can say I feel as good as I did before and have my range of motion and functionality all back! He also is very passionate about his work and cares for his patients! I saw him twice and he never talked to me or did I talked to him. He is surrounded by his team and they do all the talking for him. This was a very weird and akward experience. As a patient it makes you feel like he is “The God“ and you are not allowed to talk to him. He obviously knows what he is doing but definitely he can do better with patient-relationship. I have left both times after seeing him with this strange feeling that you are an object thats needs to be repair instead of a subject that needs medical attention.

We had to wait in his office a half hour and I had to go out and ask the nurse how much longer it would be, because I needed to get my daughter to dialysis. We had already been in the clinic and hour and 20 minuets , getting xrays and waiting. He came in, told her to raise her leg, got up and started to leave and when my daughter asked him if she could get a ref.....he interrupted and he snapped at her and said the nurse would give her the referral and left. I have never seen a Dr. so RUDE!!! That was totally uncalled for. My daughter has a blood clot in her heart, along with 5 other things going on in her body, she has 6 doctors trying to help her and she gets treated by this jerk, like she's not worth his time. A total waste of 2 hours!

I am currently nearing paralysis due to spinal cord compression and I have been dragged through irrelevant test after irrelevant test. Each visit has been less than 10 minutes. Even the initial office visit. I had a list of questions ready to ask that were not even acknowledged. Took one of the tests that were prescribed just to make a point that he was wasting time going down rabbit holes and was given a "follow up" appointment that actually said "10:25 am - 5 minutes" as the time. 5 minutes? I was referred by one of my coworkers to Dr.Ebraheim after suffering from a severe injury. I called in to schedule and was offered an appointment immediately. The Clinic was clean and well kept. The Starbucks coffee was a plus! Great Dr. and great clinic!

Dr Nabil Ebraheim saved my fiances foot and made it possible for her to walk again after having a shattered ankle from a vehicle accident!! For this im truely thankful for us to have had her under the care of this Excellent Dr. and his Wonderful Staff!!

Dr. Nabil Ebraheim is the best ortho surgeon there is!!!! After my first 2 surgeries in my hometown my ankle became severely infected! I was then refered to Dr. Ebraheim and his amazing staff!!! 12 surgeries later I no longer even have hardware in my ankle and in the beginning they were afraid that the infection was so bad talk that it may have to be amputated was brought up! But with his knowledge this did not happen!!! I first shattered my ankle in 2017, in a terrible car accident! It was like putting an eggshell back together and I had a lot of hardware placed the 1st surgery. The hardware shifted when I went back in to the 1st surgeon. So they placed another piece of hardware. It shifted again and this time when the dressing was taken off the one side of my outer able looked infected...my 1st surgeon was out of options and when I then went to utmc ortho, Dr. Nabil Ebraheim said we need to take some of this hardware out and place an external fixator... I was terrified but that wasn't even as bad as the fasciotomy I had to have because the infection was so bad in the bone. Now fast forward and 11 more surgeries later to not one piece of hardware, I give ALL the praise and glory to this amazing surgeon and his staff!!! I will never need to send my family anywhere else. The UTMC orthopedic clinic is a one stop shop for all of your needs. They even supply crutches, boots, slings, back braces, etc. For your convenience! Dr. Ebraheim is the best in the business and people travel from far and wide for his expertise.

Snowmobile accident resulting in 2 pelvic fractures and internal bleeding .....he treated me and 4 years later I’m doing great. When they rushed me to Toledo University, they told me that they were sending me to the best Orthopedic Surgeon and I believe it.

I have had crohns disease since 2001, due to the immune deficiency medication I've had to take to control my crohns, I had a LOT of infections. Two of the most severe were having the bursa sack taken out of my knees. Dr. Ebraheim did my left knee in 2007 and my right just last year and again last week. He cares a lot about the healing process and stays with you until it's complete. I never had an issue with receiving proper pain treatment from him or his staff either. The last surgery I had was to remove scar tissue on my right knee. It's about a 5 inch pretty deep cut with 12 stitches. I didn't even need to get the prescription pain meds filled because it doesn't even hurt. If you have something serious that is orthopedic related and end up going to UTMC. I was hit by a car when I was 15 years old, in 1985. I had broken ribs, a punctured lung, a broken collarbone , severe leg trauma -all requiring pins & plates, and a closed head injury. ( if it was not for Dr. Ebraheims expertise in repairing my tibia and femur, I would have lost my leg). I was in a coma for weeks. I am thankful to Dr. Ebraheim for his knowledge and abilities ! Recently, I had a knee replacement, on my good leg, performed by Dr. Ebraheim, which was a huge success!

I have seen Dr. Ebraheim multiple times over the past several years for a variety of orthopedic issues. He is an amazing, talented and God gifted surgeon. I have recommended him to multiple friends and family members and will continue to do so. No other orthopedic surgeon compares!

I just want to say this Dr. Is the most AMAZING DR. I have ever met- when I was life flighted to UTMC he saved my life!!!!!!!! I am FOREVER grateful for him !! Not only did he save my life- but he was able to save my leg(which most dr. Say it should have been amputated- but this Dr was determined to save it- AND HE DID- and I am able to walk! I have continued to see Dr. Ebraheim the last 9 yrs- and his knowledge in the medical field is mind blowing! I can't thank this Dr enough!! He's the best!

I believe the previous comment was an unfair comment. I have known Dr. Ebraheim for several years. He is a talented and gifted surgeon. He is dedicated to his patients and the outcome of their treatment. I know this, as he has treated, several of my relatives and close friends. I also know first hand that Dr. Ebraheim is not greedy or in it for the money. He doesn't know the financial situation of his patient's. That is handled by the staff.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor for all the money in the world. Worse Doctor I have ever seen. He was only interested in getting money for himself. Did absolutely nothing to help my condition. Run don't walk to find another doctor who will put the patient first, and not be greedy to get money!!!

I had metal put in my leg from another doctor. Turns out it was contaminated with MRSA. Doctor Ibrahim took it out for me cause my leg wouldn't heal. The other dr. Wanted to cut off my leg. Dr Ibrahim did stem cell and Acell therapy with my leg. Saved my leg. This has been years ago and I am still walking with little pain for the type of injury I had. Dr. Ebraheim saved my legs. I had had a bad accident injury with both of my legs crushed. Ebraheim performed emergent surgery and has successfully saved both of my legs. I owe him my life. I highly recommend this office, as they are extremely detailed oriented. It was clear to me that the quality of patient care is their priority. I felt the staff was very courteous and the environment was comfortable. Thank you Dr. for all of your help. You will forever be my # 1 orthopedic surgeon.
