Love this place! Amazing care and service. Special shout out to Cynthia at the front desk who provided amazing service when I needed a new retainer shipped across the country (then found it for me when Fedex lost it).

Highly recommend Dr. Doroodian. First dentist I found that would do veneers on my teeth that needed it rather than the whole row. A great experience and expert care. Endlessly grateful!

I have had the most pleasant experience with Dr Doroodian. She is very skilled, caring and respectful. I have got cleaning as well as a temporary and a veneer. She is a perfectionist in her work and works very quickly. My veneer turned out beautiful! Her staff are also very friendly and professional. Dr Doroodian is genuinely a state of the art dentist! I couldn't possibly be more pleased with the outstanding service and care that I have received from Atherton Dental in the past 5 years. Dr. Doroodian is very skillful, knowledgeable, and helpful. She always explains the available treatment options in detail and kindly answers any related questions. I have always been quite happy with the results after every treatment, I'd definitely give a "5-star" rating to Dr. Doroodian when it comes to dental care. The staff is very courteous, professional, and helpful specially for scheduling an appointment when there is an emergency. I felt comfortable and relaxed while there. She did an awesome job at replacing my silver filling for a white one. If you are anxious or afraid of having dental work done I highly recommend seeing dr.Doroodian

I've been going here for 5 years. Always super nice and friendly, very organized about scheduling and reminders, flexible and they do an amazing job on my dental work. Best support staff ever, and Dr. Doroodian is brilliant!

Everyone in the office is lovely, not just Dr. Doroodian, though she is especially kind. Dr. Doroodian and her staff make every effort to help patients to feel comfortable and relaxed and welcome. Dr. Doroodian will take the extra time needed to answer questions and to be certain that patients understand their dental health and to make suggestions for improving the condition of patients' gums and teeth. The hygienists are gentle, even if I really need cleaning. They work with skill and thorough care but I'm never uncomfortable. Plus which, they encourage me to floss but never scold if I don't. Dr. Doroodian and her staff go out of their way to make me comfortable and l'm actually happy to go to the dentist now.

I wasn't sure what to think going to a dentist that I've never been to before and trusting her with 3 filings. I have little tolerance for pain so I was super nervous. Other than inconvenience of having the suction device in my month I felt nothing else. There was absolutely no pain. She was super efficient and fast. She got the job done in a timely manner. The dental work done at Atherton Dental is top-notch - which is why I keep going here, and also because they are kind and caring. The hygenist who cleaned my teeth was thorough and very gentle -- a great combination, and was even able to do the cleaning with no help from any other person. Wow. And the dentists are very skilled and knowledgeable. They stay up on all the latest scientific discoveries related to dentistry. I am impressed. One thing that they offer that is nice for some people with dental anxiety is a new patient chair that massages you while they work on your teeth. I myself don't need that sort of thing, as I am very fortunate not to have dental anxiety, but if I did, I am pretty sure that a mechanical massage would not help me. They do take insurance -- Delta Dental, for one -- which is essential, and covers most of the basics, like cleaning your teeth every 6 months, and a few other things. Parking is available in a lot on the property, and if that is full (which it has been only once in the 15 years I have been going here -- 5 years for my previous dentist, and 10 years with Atherton Dental), there is an underground garage that has plenty of room. The office is wheelchair-accessible. -- it is on the second floor, and there is an elevator, which also is accessible from the underground garage. They are quite used to dealing with patients in wheelchairs, too. (I'm not in a wheelchair, but I provide this info to help those who must use wheelchairs.) To sum up: Atherton Dental is provides top-notch dental services, and the people are very kind and caring. If you have any questions, they will answer them honestly. I have been a patient for almost 10 years and am always amazed at the friendly and positive environment that I enjoy when I visit. They take care of every detail before, during and after your appointment, making sure you are well informed and comfortable during your treatment.
