Dr Neil Bealka and his staff made my visit so easy and enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, kind and informative. It was truly worth my time to travel from Waco to Gatesville to experience their wonderful care.

Excellent Dr. Isaw him about 5 years ago and he sent for blood work twice. He found coronary artery disease. I had a carotid artery 99 percent blocked. Today saw him wonderful service.

My MIL was seen by Dr. Bealka. All I can say is GREAT EXPERIENCE! Staff was very accommodating. Dr. Bealka really put her mind at ease. Answered all her questions and made sure she understood. Would recommend to anyone!

Everyone is always excited to see their patients! Dr. Peter Bealka is kind and willing explain everything for you. The nurse is quick and friendly! My wife and I felt very comfortable.

Never been the type of person to leave a review but couldn't resist not sharing. My 70yr old grandmother struggled to see anything further than a arms link away due to a large cataract. Prior to surgery she depended solely on family to get to and from places and often struggled completing day to day tasks without assistance. Went in to see Dr. Peter Bealka for exam back in November cataract surgery in late December and now 2 month post operative is seeing 20/30 and no longer requiring prescription glasses. Thank you Bealka Eye Surgery of for saving my eyesight! I came into their office expecting standard care and boy was I wrong. Their staff is so professional and caring. I have never met a physician who cares as much about my eyesight as much Dr. Neil Bealka Jr. does. I liked Dr Bealka. No problem at all. But, the assistant who came in and did the beginning things was wearing her mask below her nose, which is like wearing no mask at all in a tiny room with no space for social distancing. I asked her to pull up her mask. He tried to make excuses, but did finally, sort of pull it partially up. I was very uncomfortable. Also, they were using an infrared thermometer and taking temperatures on the back of people's hands. I have never seen that. I tried it when I got home, and it was .8º lower than my forehead. I can find no information about using hands, and the medical people I asked said that was not acceptable. Everyone in there could have had a fever and they would not have known. I will not go back again as long as we have a pandemic. It's a shame, because I liked the doctor.

Called the Gatesville location and made an appointment to get fitted for contacts, specified I wished to be seen at the Gatesville location. They scheduled the appointment—Had to wait a month for the appointment, that’s fine... Showed up for my appointment only to be told I had called the Hillsboro location to be seen there, and I could not be fitted at the Gatesville location. Pulled up my phone call history to prove I called the Gatesville location. What a waste of time, very disorganized business. I’d give negative stars if I could. Been going there for a few years now. They sent me an email to make my annual appointment, and I called... they never returned my call, so I submitted one online, per their instuctions... still no answer. I think I'll go somewhere else from now on.

As a new patient of Dr. Bealka's I was very pleased with my 2 surgery's for the removal of my cataracts. I'm very fussy when it comes to Dr.s and I would highly recommend Dr. Bealka and his staff. I had a heart stent put in this year and I'm on blood thinners among other meds. I was very skeptical about having the surgery. But He assured me all would be fine. I elected not to have any meds before the surgery and all went great, no pain what so ever and yes he used drops to deaden the eye. It was a pleasant and relaxing surgery. I'm so thankful I had them done and now I can see to drive again. Dr. Bealka is # one in my book, highly educated, explains everything in detail and very compassionate in his care for others. The staff was so friendly and caring I can't say enough about them. If you are looking for a professional Ophthalmologist and caring staff I highly recommend Dr. Bealka.

My best experience with this office was the Optical department. I love Dr Bealka and his staff as well they all did a great job; but I'm the happiest with the Optical Department because Christy here in the Hillsboro office did a great job I'm beside myself I'm so happy. I'm refering Bealka Eye Surgery of Texas to all my friends and family!!

I have worn glasses since I was 12 years old and I now no longer have to wear glasses, thanks to him! He is an awesome eye doctor!

I always have a great experience here with Dr Bealka and everybody involved here with the eye care I get here everybody is friendly. Explains everything thoroughly. I had a great experience with Mary Jane, she was a great help with getting my glasses, that would fit my face and my prescription the process of getting my glasses was quick, I have been coming here for several years. I will not go any other place, I HIGHLY recommend Dr Bealka for anyone that needs eye care. My experience is great!

Without a doubt one of the top three medical professionals I have ever dealt with. It is always a pleasure to have him and his friendly staff provide quality care. There is no doubt that this is a highly trained, professional health care facility. Dr. Bealka has always been very attentive to my needs and concerns, and has prescribed sensible treatments to resolve my problems. He's been very good about explaining the details of my eye conditions.

Dr. Bealka is very interested in the patient's eye care. He does the needed testing of and for the eye, leaving nothing to chance. I feel very confident having Dr. Bealka treating and caring for my eyesight.

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Bealka. Dr. Bealka explain the process for the procedure. His staff walked me through all the steps from setting up my pre-op exam, reviewed the insurance requirements and best of all I obtained an excellent result with my vision. Kudos to Dr. Bealka and his staff!

I had an appointment at 10:00am and at 10:40 I had to see how much longer it would take! I waited 45 minutes after my appointment before they finally called me back. Then, I had to wait 4 days for a referral. I told them the Dr I wanted to be referred to and they tried to send me to another Dr I have never heard of! They did not call me or anything. I had to fix all of it myself. I will never go back there.

So I made an eye appointment and failed to appear. 24 hours notice is required, so by the time I realized my son's cardiology appointment was moved to that time and day, it was too late. So I called to reschedule. The clinic manager answered. And apparently had an entire patient profile on me prepared, because she halted reschedule, shamed me for missed appointments going 3 years back, and made sure I knew that a single missed appointment cost them lots of $$$$$MONEY$$$$$.
