I appreciate Dr. Thornton and I have been seeing him for years. He is very caring and compassionate. I am quite surprised to see some of the negative, over-the-top comments listed here. I guess some people that don’t get exactly what they want, feel like their best response is to act like internet trolls and spoiled children. So crazy how entitled the world has become to just trash someone anonymously whenever they feel like it, with likely very little justification whatsoever. Really sad actually.

Dr talked me into staying with him when I asked to be transferred specialist due to long term health issues. Never listened to my complaints of health problems, but was sure quick to prescribe what ever new meds the reps paid him to prescribe instead of what I know the be tried and true. His failure led me to find another Dr and my reviews have led him to kick my wife out of his practice. Only cares about the money not the people.

Terrible Dr for actual long term medical issues. Only seems to care about giving you what ever new medicine the last rep paid him to sell. Does not listen to the patients input or complaint. As a patient, you should not be able to hear the details of another patients medical problems being loudly discussed by the nurses and other staff. Unprofessional.

I am a patient with his affiliate offices Summit Medical Group. I am newly married and discovered my husband has a prior relatively small balance with them from 2012. I called and asked for the invoice and offered to pay the debt over the phone... she stated they would not be able to see him as a patient. Needless to say the debt will sit there, and I will take our family elsewhere. You don't know what kind of situation anyone was in eight years ago, the debt was not sent to collections, because it would cost more in recovery fees than the actual debt. I would hope that if I needed to seek care from them and heaven forbid, you know lost my job, and attempted to make a payment arrangement, they would work with me. I understand it is "their right" to deny services, but why treat someone that way over a balance shy of $300?

Caring personable, excellent listener. Discusses all acceptable options and treatment plans. Provides knowledgeable and understandable explanations

Terrible doctor. Can't keep politics out of the exam room and seems to throw meds at the patient without considering interactions. Can't get my medical records from these people, either.

Dr. Thornton is a knowledgeable and caring Doctor. He has taken care of my family for over 10 years and we are always confident in his care.
