Snatched my father off a drug cold turkey that he had been taking for 6 months. This caused my father extremely bad effects for over 5 months and numerous hospital trips and admissions. My family’s experience at TMH with hospital doctor Nicky Nelson left us with a distaste for TMH and Dr. Nelson. Communication was non existant. We were not kept informed about our loved one’s deteriorating condition; no real conversations. Came in, stood at foot of bed and said, “You say you don’t want lifesupport, and that bipap is in fact life support. Take it away and he is dead. “ He walked out. The bipap was removed to be cleaned and my love’s life ended.
