We have been patients of Dr. Petroff for many years. She has always been approachable and thorough. She educates us on existing skin problems and ways to avoid skin problems.

Dr. Nina Petroff is an amazing dermatologist. She puts the needs of her patients first and foremost and is continually focused on educating her patients on best practices and advances in skin health. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable, direct and always offers the best advice. Highly recommended!

Dr Petroff is wonderful. So thorough with her examinations. My family and I have been seeing her for many years. She does a great job at educating and taking her time with each patient. My young son is always comfortable seeing her. Highly recommend.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I went to Dr Petroff most of my young life until I moved away when I was 22. When I moved back to the area at 34, I quickly reestablished as a patient. She found a cancerous mole that another dermatologist missed. She also took a tremendous amount of time with me. She answered my many questions, she gave me a prescription for what I needed, but more importantly she gave me prevention and maintenance advice for every single issue. I’ve had sensitive skin my whole life. I went to many dermatologists as a child until my father found Dr Petroff. Going back as an adult, she was even better than I remembered. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Petroff has been taking care of me for almost 30 years. I would give her 10 stars if I could. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares for her patients. I wish she could care for all my medical needs. A truly compassionate, loyal human being. When my father was dying of cancer, more than once he had a wound that became infected and needed to be drained, she stayed after hours to take care of him the same day we called. She is truly a gem.

I’ve been going to Dr. Petroff for several years now. She is extremely knowledgeable and thanks to her thorough exam she found my skin cancer in its very early stages. She is also a thoughtful practitioner, doing what she can to make me comfortable during my appointment.

Dr. Petroff is the best dermatologist I’ve ever been to see. I have bad acne and have seen a dermatologist for over 30 years. I was so glad to find her after my latest doctor retired. She always makes you feel beautiful! She also coordinated with my primary physician when it was needed. She is the best! I recommended her to my mom, aunt and friends. She is worth driving to see!

16 years ago she took care of my son’s skin’s issues. She was pleasant, very caring, and resolved the issue. I could never thank her enough.

I have been going to Dr. Nina Petroff for many, many years. She is an exceptional and caring physician.

Dr. Petroff is kind and knowledgeable. She provides many resources in her office from medical journals and studies. She is easy to understand and she explains everything so you are comfortable. Her staff is so nice and helpful. The office is a calm space and you can tell that everyone enjoys working there and working together.

Wonderful experience, caring doctor!

Dr. Petroff does a great job educating you about proper sunscreen and minimizing risk of skin cancer. She also has the best products for our aging skin. They work so much better than all of the expensive, commercialized stuff out there.

Over 20 years ago I had a growth removed from my face by another dermatologist, which returned. My wife was referred to Dr. Petroff and in turn, referedher to me. She removed the re-growth and had it biopsied. The biopsy showed I had basil cell cancer. She referred me to a specialist who specialized in this field and also was a plastic surgeon. He removed it and I have never had a problem with re-growth since. Dr. Petroff most likely saved my life and I will never forget that. Approximately 10 years ago my wife was diagnosed with shingles in an emergency room. The rash spread to her face so she called Dr. Petroff for an emergency appointment. As soon as she saw her she took drastic action and gave her a shot. She was scared that it would go into my wife’s eyes and blind her. We have continuously been going to her through the years because of her expertise, thoroughness, and kindness. She is one of the small percentage of Doctors that has genuine compassion and empathy.

This office works miracles! My scalp has been itching for 2.5 years! After trying many things my dr finally referred me to dermatology, I will say I was skeptical at first but Dr Petroff made me feel comfortable and assured me together we can get this problem fixed. Amazing care! The friendliest staff ever! Dr Petroff made me feel so comfortable. She is so knowledgeable and skilled in her field! Highly recommend!

For 15 years, I have been getting annual checkups with Dr. Petroff. She is always courteous and asks about my family.

She had no concern when I told her the antibiotic she prescribed me for my hormonal acne was making me nauseous the longer I took it. In fact, she cut me off while I was telling her and never asked any follow up questions about my nausea from the med. She then proceeded to give me a prescription for a different antibiotic. I developed a bacterial infection that was not caught on time and I now have GI issues. She also got snappy when I asked if there was a cheaper facial creme I could use for my acne or a bigger bottle for the same price. DO NOT waste your time she's just out for the $$$.

Dr Petroff is the best dermatologist I’ve met. She is incredibly knowledgeable and wants to share her expertise so that I can make the best, most informed decision that’s ultimately for my highest good. Her staff is delightful and knowledgeable as well. My entire family now benefits from Dr Petroff’s skill and expertise. Cleveland is lucky to have her.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. NINA PETROFF'S FOR APPROXIMATELY 15 YEARS. I CHOSE HER DUE TO THE GLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS OF MY COWORKERS. BEING 68 YEARS OLD I HAVE BEEN TO MY SHARE OF DOCTORS, AND BY FAR DR. PETROFF HAS BEEN THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE, COMPASSIONATE, EFFECTIVE AND CARING DOCTOR I'VE EVER MET. I ONLY WISH SHE COULD BE MY GENERAL PRACTIONER. SHE IS ACUTELY AWARE THAT MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO AND MAKES EVERY EFFORT TO ADHERE TO THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE. HER STAFF IS EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE. SOMETHING YOU DON'T FIND THESE DAYS. MOST RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN SEEKING HER EXPERTISE FOR MOTHER NATURE'S TOLL (ABUSE) ON MY FACE! Serene setting with a kind staff and knowledgeable doctor. Went in for a full body checkup to see if any of my moles needed attention. Dr. Petroff answered all my questions, looked very thoroughly and gave me a lesson on the types of skin cancers and how they form. I arrived a bit stressed from my day and left feeling rejuvenated. Worst quack ever! If I could give her 0 stars that would be more appropriate!!!

Dr. Petroff's bedside manner is outstanding with genuine caring towards her patients. Her interaction with her staff, who are also excellent by the way, goes way beyond any dermatologist we have ever been seen by. She shows a level of professionalism and compassion that has always put us at ease.

Dr. Petroff is the greatest. In addition to being a great dermatologist, she is also a pathologist and generally can tell what the biopsy will be even before she sends it out...Love her!!!

I visited Dr. Petroff a couple of months ago. She, in addition to Dana, Laurel, Michelle and Cindy, were as professional and as nice as could be. I don't often have as much fun in a doctor's office as I did that day. If you're seeking a caring, knowledgeable and fun Dermatologist, here she is!

Dr. Petroff is a professional who is results-oriented without being aggressive. She seems to pride herself on her relationships with her patients and truly wants everyone to look and feel their best.

Dr. Petroff has treated me with competence, and far more. She has excellent personal presence and listens with care. My presenting problem was handled expertly—and I left feeling well treated and appreciated. Perfect dermatologist? I think so.

Love her! Very informed and very polite. I felt comfortable talking to her about my concerns and she LISTENED.

Dr. Petroff is one of my most favorite doctors. She takes time with all her patients, seeks to understand their issues, and puts you on a course of action. She works with you on what is most important. I had seen her many years ago, then my insurance did not accept her practice. Over the years, I had not found anyone that I liked as much as Dr. Petroff, and called again to see if insurance coverage had changed. So happy it did. She is amazing, and I would recommend her to all of my friends

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Petroff. I was told I could not even see her because my insurance was not accepted, and I could not pay cash. The receptionist then went on to say she would lose her medical license if she saw me and I pay cash for her service.

Dr. Petroff is an amazing person! She genuinely cares about her patients. She wants to know you personally,build a relationship & understand what's important to you. This will help her know important information to aid in diagnosing one's situation

The entire office staff is professional, friendly and competent. Dr Petroff has been treating me for 10 years. She has patience to explain why she does a certain procedure, expertise to diagnosis my skin problems and makes me feel like a friend more than a patient. She had the good judgment to biopsy a growth she thought was a freckle which turned out to be a melanoma. You can tell she and her staff really care about you. I highly recommend her.

She seems highly intelligent, until you say something she doesn't like. Then she turns nasty. I had a preexisting condition that was in my paperwork, however she never read the paperwork. When I verbally brought it up, she was shocked. I got scolded by the doctor for the rest of the appointment, and her assistant literally cowered in fear at me. It was insane. I have never been so insulted. You don't treat a patient, or a human being, like that.

I was referred to Dr. Petroff by a friend and couldn't be happier. I have now been a patient for 10+ years and see her routinely. She's very knowledgeable and her proactive approach is something I highly value given my family history and sun exposure as a young girl. Dr. Petroff has been aggressive in removing suspicious moles and each and every time, the reports verify she was correct. I'm thankful to be under her care. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to see Dr. Petroff for over 15 years. She is one of the kindest, nicest, generous Dr I have ever met. She always spends plenty of time with me and addresses all of my concerns. I would highly recommend her to be your dermatologist.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Petroff for many years. She is extremely competent, caring and the kind of physician one would like to have. Normally, we have an annual exam, but as situations arise, we have excellent experiences in getting an appointment within a very reasonable amount of time. She treats us for all dermatological issues.

I had a strange experience with Petroff. This is the short version of the story. I felt as if she was pushing skin cream on me that she sold in her office with little regard to what I wanted or needed. When I had a birth mark removed to see if it was abnormal, I did not receive a call from the office with the results. Instead, I felt very manipulated into waiting for another office visit (more money for the doctor) to tell me that my results were not malignant. No regard for my time or money.

I waited for over an hour in the room before she came in to simple look at my skin and tell me something I already knew. Didn't ask any real questions and gave me a prescription. My total time actually seeing her was less than ten minutes.

She is a doctor who truly cares for her patients and I trust her completely.
