From the time I consulted with Dr. Sowemimo, in June 2022, I knew I found the right bariatric surgeon. He was encouraging right from the beginning and his team is also great. I had surgery at the end of September 2022 and have already lost over 50 pounds (75 total from June). I know that I made the right choice in choosing to have bariatric surgery and to have Dr. Sowemimo perform it. At my most recent visit he said something that has stuck with me. When I said "I am trying", he said, "No, you are succeeding". That just shows the character of a true physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Sowemimo without reservation.

I was so nervous about having Bariatric surgery, but I knew that I needed a change and that my life depended on it. Dr. Oluseun Sowemimo and the Prime Surgicare Office Staff made me feel so comfortable and gave me such peace of mind through the whole process before and after my surgery. I am 3 months post surgery and I feel and look better than ever. I am so happy with the decision I made for my health and extremely happy with service I received from Prime Surgicare. I have hope for my health and my future again because of them.

Thank God and Dr. Seun for changing my life. My quality of life was very poor and I wasn't happy. Working with Dr. Oluseun Sowemimo has been great. He has guided me through my weight loss journey and has made sure that I understood what I could expect at each stage of my weight loss. I initially weighed 268 pounds. I had surgery on March 2nd 2022 As of this writing, (6/8/2022) I am down to 192 pounds and still losing. I have much more energy and stamina.

Dr Sowemimo was terrific! He explains everything regarding the procedure with lots of drawings which were very helpful. The surgery was rather painless and the results after six months are beyond expectations. The follow up visits with Dr Sowemimo continue to be helpful and informative. His practice also holds support group meetings twice a month. If you have been struggling with weight issues, it is worth making an appointment to meet with Dr Sowemimo.

Dr. Seun is more than a typical surgeon. He took my entire medical history’s into account. He was able to schedule my tests and surgery in record time. He goes above and beyond to make the patient and family comfortable. I had surgery 3/30/22 and this is the first time in my adult life I do not have acid and multiple prescription and OTC meds are stopped. I recommend him highly as the best of the best!

Deciding to have Sleeve surgery was the best decision of my life. The 2nd best decision I ever made was having Dr. Seun do my procedure. His incredible surgical skills combined with his amazing bed side manner made this a very positive experience. I had very little post operative pain and started losing weight at a rapid pace right after surgery. Within 5 months I was down 90 pounds and feeling great. Dr Seun’s aftercare is very thorough and supportive. I strongly recommend Dr. Seun in every respect.

So I started my journey in June of 2021 - I reached out to Dr Seun and his team. From the start it was and continues to be an amazing experience. Starting with the office staff, then the nutritional counseling (Lori) all the way to the surgery and beyond it has been a fantastic experience. There are no horror stories here! Dr Seun Sowemimo took every precaution to make sure that my gastric sleeve surgery , at Centra State Hospital in Freehold, New Jersey , went without a hitch. He is a skilled surgeon who clearly wants to make a difference and help people even beyond the date of surgery. For example: Dr. Seun has convinced me to try eating healthier with a plant-based diet. I am following his instructions & I honestly see a tremendous improvement in my health. I am not suffering as much with IBS. My snoring from sleep apnea has decreased. I eat a volume of 3/4 of a cup per meal.. I am also taking cooking classes from: Robbi@Pratt’sbariatricmealprep on FB. Her recipes are specifically for gastric sleeve / bypass patients. The combination having the gastric sleeve surgery and the journey of learning to cook properly to suit my stomach size is a tremendous change for this 68 year old gal.

Great Doctor! Friendly and informative. I have lost about 70lbs in 6 months after surgery, and about 10 lbs post op. Staff is always friendly and personable. Morning appointments are great with no wait. However afternoons plan to spend sometime waiting. Dr. Sowemimo is thorough and spends time with his patients which is important. I appreciate this. Just remember you are not the only patient.

Dr. Sowemimo is outstanding and caring. He explains in depth and even takes the time to draw a diagram of my surgery....he is so pleasant and knowledgeable. his staff is also wonderful and kind.

Dr Suean is one of the best doctors I have been to. He cares so much for his patients and is very respectful of your feelings and concerns.

My experience with Prime Surgicare and Dr Sowemimo and the rest of the group has been a very positive one. Dr Togbe was my primary doctor of the group but he is no longer with them. Patient for three years Now he doesn't take Blue Shield Blue Cross probably because he charges 700 a visit He is not making enough money ? Dont blame Obama care blame greedy Doctors and insurance companies I cant wait for universal health care but i will be dead by then anyway
