Dr Gillen is a Very Kind, Caring, and Professional Doctor. She has treated me several times when I’ve been sick with serious abdominal and throat issues. She has never pushed any medicine on me. She's one of those sadistic doctors that writes a 3 day supply of pain medication the Thursday before a long weekend without the telling the patient the fun he's going to be in for on Monday. Thanks for that surprise!

Dr. Gillen was compassionate and kind. She listened, sought clarity as she worked (via a video appointment) to accurately understand and assess my symptoms. She took time to process all I shared and I felt valued not only as a patient, but more importantly as a person. I feel so confident I am on the road to recovery and am just so grateful for Dr Gillen’s obvious knowledge and expertise and above all, her humanity.

My experience with Dr Gillen was horrible. Went to see her about extreme pain in my shoulder and neck. She didn't care much, I asked her about getting an x-ray or an MRI but she couldn't be bothered, prescribed me a 10 day supply of muscle relaxer and a 10 day supply of anti-inflammatory medicine but only a 3 day supply of pain medication. Keep in mind this was a Thursday before a 3 day weekend. She didn't tell me the amounts, I didn't find out until I opened the bottle and saw how few were there were. I don't know what she expected me to do Sunday or Monday because I haven't been able to get ahold of her. I called her office on Monday (Labor Day) and the registered nurse on call said there was nothing she could do. So I debated going to the ER and getting a $600 bill or rationing the remaining pills and getting a refill on Tuesday for $2.03. So ok, I rationed, well guess who wasn't in on Tuesday? Guess who's office still didn't care about the pain I was in.

Dr Gillen was WONDERFUL! Myself and my two children were sick, but they only had one appointment. She made time for all three of us for a full evaluation and prescribed us the antibiotics we needed! She was extremely patient with the girls and they took to her immediately.
