Dr. Patricia G. Wheeler

Patrica Wheeler is an amazing doctor. She cares for my daughter’s health. She is a genius and her intelligence shows when she explains to me my daughters genetic profile. Also, just explaining different medical terms. Her medical assistant Blanca is amazing as well. They were not in a rush. They were very through with my daughter and they do their due diligence and beyond. Doctor Wheeler explains in ways that I understand. And I appreciate her deciphering genes that her primary doctors couldn’t explain or crack what it could mean. All in all, my daughter is blessed to have doctor Wheeler and her staff. We will keep coming here. And I highly recommend her to anyone in need.

Dr wheeler was reading the results from a print out. She has no clue what the results mean, what cells are Affected and what was the pathology related to the deficit she was describing. She provided me with a print out from a website and she was simply reading from it. I kept asking her what does this mean? This is very general can you explain more and she was like I don’t know I have no idea. She was describing the mechanistic of the mutation which may be great for a biology class but not when you give parents a diagnosis.when you make the parents come for a visit to discuss the results you should be ready and you should know the gene you are describing,

Dr.Wheeler is one of the rudest Doctors I have ever come in contact with. She was very disrespectful rude and condescending the appointment was more of putting down my daughter more than what would help her. The person above is an absolute nut job, I have been working in the medical field and seen terrible physicians. Dr. Wheeler is a great physician, she has helped diagnose our son with a genetic condition that is extremely rare. She is patient, kind, and thoughtful. So is ALL the staff. I think the lady above might have thought she was the Doctor and started Google Diagnosing her own child, and I wish her the best, and I am proud to have Dr Wheeler as our sons geneticist. Dr. Wheeler was dismissive. She did not take an accurate medical history and every time I attempted to interject with pertinent medical information I was cut off. She was additionally biased and judgmental, forming innaccurate assumptions about my child and relaying them to me several times even though I continuously redirected or corrected her. However each time I attempted to talk I was either cut off or talked over. Her knowledge of my child’s genetic disorder was basic at best. She utilized the same material I had pulled off the internet and appeared to not have read through it.
