Patrick Bruton

Dr. Burton is a very caring individual. There needs to be more physicians with the kind of heart he has. His staff is also great. I really appreciate all the care I have received from the all of them. True blessings. Thanks guys for everything.

Dr Bruton offered a service a specialty clinic.. it was a great service for out of town folks could go locally. (C-City) The day before my dads appointment he was called and told to come at a later time. (11am) Reason given The dr had surgery that morning .. no problem.. we arrive at the later time we are asked.. and check in. We wait and wait and wait! And wait. And finally I go up and ask what is going on why has my dad not been asked back. The lady at front said oh his appointment was at 9.. I said no one of your ladies called and moved us back cause the dr had surgery. After that had happened thinking a misunderstanding in schedule he was called back……. AGAIN we wait and wait AND wait almost 3 and we can’t take it anymore.. my dad and I were hungry and his feet were cold from being uncovered for several a couple of hours. I went out of the room and ask the nurses can we figure out how much longer? I hated to do that but there was no check backs just them sitting in room conversation going about who knows what. Finally another 30 minutes go by and i say ok dad let’s go.. (like 3pm)we left and and the gladly let us leave. We were re scheduled and before the appointment was given a call that that dr will not be in c city anymore.. so we make appointment with regular dr told the nurse and dr what happened and they assured us that Bruton was still coming. So Today I make another appointment and retry to get this done.. with Bruton the got his dob and name.. put me in hold for 18 minutes I have to hang up and call back. I told em I was on hold for 18 minutes and she said ok the name and told em my dads name and she said the dr is not accepting any patient’s appointments right now.. and I said ok till when .. she finally told me what should have been told to a long time ago...

He is sooooo thorough. He explains things as he does them, and in a way that you can understand. I’m very glad he took me as a patient. Because of an emergency earlier in the day my wait was longer than usual but well worth the wait. I love this doctor.

This guy is the worst. Do not take your elderly parents here because this guy will abuse them. Seriously, do not go!

Dr. Bruton is a very excellent podiatrist. I truly enjoyed taking my mother to her appointments with him. God bless you Dr. Bruton!

Absolutely loved Dr. Bruton. I felt like my concerns were heard and he answered any questions I had. Was in and out in a timely manner and everyone was very nice!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Bruton for 2 years like Ronnie Milsap sang, 'WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOU'VE MADE IN MY LIFE'!!!! I walk on a concrete floor for more than 12 hours a day. Talk about agony of "de feet". Each appointment he and his staff tended to me and worked with me, and encouraged me to tell him if what he wasn't doing helped or didn't unit he got it right... Dr. Bruton is excellent!! His office staff on the other hand, rates a big ZERO! They don't return calls; I had to go to the office in person to get an appointment for my first visit. In trying to get another visit I encountered the same issues, after multiple messages and never a return call, I finally got a live person to answer only to be told they return calls to people who have feet falling off verses someone who is merely in pain. When asked how could they triage issues without returning a call to find out what was going on she said they go by what is on the referral letter. The receptionist used the excuse of frequent office staff turnover for such poor service. Patients encounter the poor office staff before ever reaching Dr. Bruton. Dr Bruton is absolutely the best!! His office staff is top notch. I can’t say enough good things about Patrick and his practice. He has always been there for us every time we needed him. His knowledge of what he does far exceeds anyone in the Abilene area. Tells us exactly what he is doing as he is doing it and why it needs to be done. Love love love this man. Be mindful of this doctor if you have long-term disabilities... quick to prescribe pain meds before trying to help.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bruton! He was thorough during my visit and his staff is amazing!!!!

Do not buy his "Custome Insoles". They may work for you but did not for me and I couldn't get a refund. He was great at first but my past 3 visit felt like I was a bother. I have decided to switch. Be careful with the office doing pedicure and calluse trimming. I got cut and the healing process being diabetic is not easy.

Dr Bruton is the best .

Dr.Bruton is the most amazing foot docter. He is caring an understands the needs of his clients. His staff is also very attentive. No wait time I was able to get in right away..best docter an my foot feels great.. Thank you!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Bruton and his staff. My little boy had his first ingrown toenail at 18 months and Dr. Bruton graciously fit us in and removed it. I was worried that my little boy would cry and squirm but he sat perfectly still and didn’t shed a single tear! The doctor did a thorough job of explaining the procedure and was very gentle in the removal of the ingrown toe. He had another ingrown toenail about 6 months later and we had the same great experience. Not only was the office staff amazing, but the office itself was very clean and inviting. All of the staff seems happy with their jobs which means a very pleasant atmosphere.!! Dr. Bruton is very informative!! I literally went from crawling in constant pain, to up and down the stairs again!! Oh the places you can go when your feet don't hurt anymore!! Thank you Dr.Bruton!!

I went in for bone spurs & planters fasciitis and he is the best. Friendly staff. One time it was the side of my foot, he recommended I see a neurologist for my back, sure enough I have bulging disk. This dr knows his stuff. My husband had hammer toe surgery on both feet and Dr Bruton tends to his & our daughters feet for their diabetes wellness.

I'm a US Navy Veteran and a school teacher. I have summer off, so I drove down from Milwaukee to have this bunion surgery in Abilene (Thank you, VA Medical). The VA gave me a list of civilian doctors who were covered by the VA's Community Care program. They then chose a couple of doctors who could perform the surgery within my timeline (gotta be back in that 2nd Grade Classroom by August 14th). Of the two, I chose Dr. Bruton. i had 2 surgeries with him in 2017 and still paying for them and now seeing a different Dr who's fixing his mistakes and paying her as well to be able to walk with no pain or minimal pain .. have been in pain since june 2017 can hardly walk now .. he says he listens but he really has no time .. he stiched up my foot 4 times glued it 3 times and i even asked for MRI , wound care , and iv antibiotics and he always said no ,. He always said they were to expensive as if they cost him and not us .. and now the MRI show all that was wrong with my feet ..on my Dec surgery .. he never took out my stiches ..i took them out myself and to this day nobody from that office has botherd to call me about it . i do not reccomend him at all ... that's what happens when they take on too many patients ... i knew something was wrong but he choose to focus on 1 thing and not what was causing the problem and these new laws protect them ( the drs) not us .. its not fair that i'm still paying for the surgeries he did and now paying another Dr to redo them and fix the problems he left ... very unsatisfied with him i had 2 surgeries with him in 2017 and still paying for them and now seeing a different Dr who's fixing his mistakes and paying her as well to be able to walk with no pain or minimal pain .. have been in pain since june 2017 can hardly … More

The last 2 times I have come I have waited an hour and a half! That's crazy to me. I called and because 2 people canceled this afternoon they told me to come in. Doesn't seem like it, because it's taken so long to be seen. I just think they should space their appointments out further so people don't have to wait that long. Dr bruton is great though. I was very impressed with Dr. Bruton and his staff. His staff is friendly and efficient and communicate well with each other and the patient. Dr. Bruton is friendly, through and a great communicator. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

From the first time I called his office to the time I walked out of his office everyone in his office made me feel like I was being treated by friends (although I had never met anyone of them before). I called his office and was given an appointment the next day. Although I waited in the exam room over thirty minutes when he came in he was relaxed and never hurried me. He answered all of my questions very patiently. I'm sure he was doing the same for other patients while I was waiting.

I have seen Dr Bruton on several occasions for my heel pain over the years and both he and his staff gave always been terrific and very helpful. I would highly recommend him

I am dealing with plantar fasciitis. After a visit in early August which included a shot and a night splint, Dr. Bruton suggested surgery. It was scheduled. During the waiting time I had conversations with a physical therapist and an athletic trainer suggesting some other options I should try before surgery. I called the office and canceled the surgery. Two weeks later, I received a very abrupt letter saying that Dr Bruton could no longer be my doctor because he had done all he could do.
