Very rude woman at check in. Does not treat disabled elderly with any help or empathy at all. I’m on oxygen and completely disabled. It takes me forever to get out of car, get my walker out of my old car, and then get into the building. I can hardly walk even with the walker. I couldn’t even get the door to the building open, it is so heavy, and impossible to maneuver my walker around. That’s not taking into account how difficult it is or how long it takes me to get dressed and out into the car. Some days are worse than others with my rheumatoid arthritis. In any case, after all that exertion and effort, I am turned away because I’m a few minutes late. I’ve never felt so defeated and hopelessly discouraged in my life. I really didn’t expect that type of treatment from a doctors office. I just sat in my car and cried.

I saw Dr. Paul English about a year ago looking for help regarding possible hidradenitis suppurativa. He barely gave me a look over, told me I didn't have it and that the acne I had was "just the body I was born with." Then gave me a useless prescription and sent me on my way. It wasn't until I was able to see a dermatologist at the Mayo Clinic a year later to confirm an HS diagnosis. Unfortunately I have since developed scaring around the affected area due to minimal treatment options. Had Dr. English done his job I may have been able to prevent irreversible damage to my skin. I am truly worried for the patients who visit this clinic, especially elderly patients who might not understand how their doctor is treating them. As always professional and a feeling of good will when discussing my condition.

I was disappointed with the service that I received from Dr. English and his office staff. In 2017, after a surgical procedure I was sent home without any pain medications & I was in pain after all the anesthesia wore off. I called his office asking for pain medications and was told that he could not prescribe them for my procedure. He cut something off my body and could prescribe pain medications---how ludicrous and incompetent. I went to this doctor initially for 3 problems. After 2 years they have not solved any of my problems & I am still suffering from the same things. The surgical procedure I had done was a mistake and I am mad at myself for letting his assistant talk me into it. My condition is worst now than it was before the surgery and I am in constant discomfort. I don't think they really care about their patients, especially those that are African American. I will never patronize this Dermatologist again and if anyone ask me about Dr. English, I am going to tell them if they want good medical care do not go to Dr. English. 1st appt with him after 8 yrs since last dermatology appt in previous home town. Doctor seems friendly but he never touched my skin or looked at any skin covered by clothing. Time for him to retire because he has blinders on and only wants to treat what is visible. A total waste of my $30 insurance copays. Worst doctor I've ever seen and you couldn't pay me enough to go back or to recommend to someone else.

Very efficient front desk! Receptionist pleasant, and helpful. Medical Assistant very thorough. Dr. English took plenty of time with me to discuss my questions and concerns, and conducted a thorough examination. Never felt rushed. Excellent listener, wide breadth of knowledge, and I felt very comfortable with him taking over my derm care.

Everyone was professional, friendly and I had a wonderful experience. I have my appointment scheduled for next year and I have already received a reminder from the office. I am going back next Thursday to have a consulation with the anesthetic.

Dr. Paul English is a fabulous Dermatologist. I have been a patient for many years. I have sent family and friends to him. He is thorough, takes the time to explain all medical issues, and provides superb care. He has donated considerable time in 3rd world countries to helping the suffering. I have 100% confidence in his skill and expertise. I would highly recommend him to anyone. In my view, he is the best Dermatologist in this state.

Dr. English is a patient, informative, and knowledgable doctor. He is very kind and provides effective diagnosis and excellent treatment. Wonderful to find such an outstanding Dermatologist in the valley. We have recommended him to our family and friends!

Everything went well from start to finish. Dr. English is very thorough, and knows my history. He removes pre cancerous growths before they become a problem. I feel well taken care of by Dr. English and his staff.

I, unfortunately, spend more time in Doctor's Offices than I'd like and consequently get to observe how efficiently many are run. I don't know if you know how rare it is to be seen at the appointed time, but it's an event much appreciated by this patient. You're head and shoulders above most other offices I've been in and you're all so friendly. Thanks for all you do and do so well.

I have recommended Dr. English to all of my friends, but more importantly my family. He know treats three generations of our family. From time to time we have all seen other providers in his Gilbert office and they are also excellent. We have been seeing him for 17 years; first in Ahwatukee and then in Gilbert when we moved there in 2004. We love his office staff and they treat us like family.

Everyone in the office was great. Obviously, a low stress environment! Something we need more of today. Only issue I had with their survey was the question about the educational materials in the exam room. I'm an old guy and I cannot read words on a monitor over six feet away. That's all right because my wife and I got a good laugh out their expectations! :D

Avoid this place. The Billing department is in Nevada!. Impossible to fix issues and mistakes. Hopeless

Everyone was very kind and attentive! They got me in within a day and I did see Dr. English! He was great at explaining things and made me very comfortable. I have had several cancer's removed and they have always informative, friendly and professional. I have several friends who use English Dermatology as well and have always had a positive experience. Recommend them whenever asked for recommendation.

Will NEVER go here again. I was told they would take off a couple of skin tags for free. Well the submitted it to my insurance. I ended up having to pay 75.00 in addition to the 65.00 I paid for the visit. A total of 140.00 for less than 10 minutes. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Then it took me over 6 months to get an answer about the billing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Will NEVER go here again. I was told they would take off a couple of skin tags for free. Absolutely horrible scheduling department. It feels like they dont want or dont need patients. Sounds more like a government office than a dermatologist. The Doctor is never available so they schedule you with a doctor's assistant.

Been seeing Dr. English and his PAs off and on for 20 years. Admittedly, I have not seen Dr. English in the last 10 years, nor have I asked specifically for him, but Mindy has been great. My wife uses them too and seems satisfied. I find the customer service to be what I expect. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Excellent doctors! I saw one of the physician assistants last year and returned again this year to have a different spot on my arm removed by the nurse practitioner. Both times I was able to get in by the next day. The office staff was polite and friendly, nurses were very helpful and explained my procedure and results to me and answered all questions I had. I have since referred a couple of my friends to their offices and they all had very positive experiences as well. Trust me, for quality care -- I wouldn't go anywhere else! Excellent doctors! If you want to see the Doctor never going to happen I try several time and ask for appointment with him they say yes and he never show. Unfriendly staff ! and if you want to make consultation by phobe they never return calls! I tried more than 4 times and still waiting! To expensive and services is too bad!
