Dr. Fadale has been excellent. I received his name from the physician assistant at the walk in and selected him based on his impeccable online reviews. I completely tore my ACL and partially injured my MCL, PCL, and meniscus while skiing. I was not disappointed in my selection of Dr. Fadale…he has a great bedside manner and even held my hand going into surgery until the anesthesia took effect. Dr. Fadale is the best surgeon! He has character, very thorough, and fixed my knee without having any pain after surgery. I had the same surgery on my other knee years ago by another physician and it was painful and the recovery time was longer. I absolutely love Dr Fadale. He repaired my ACL 5 years ago and just recently repaired my Medial meniscus. As usual, a superb job. His office staff was awesome and extremely helpful. Never once had an issue with paperwork was always filled out promptly. Highly recommended.

I am 9 months post acl/meniscus surgery today and I would really like to celebrate Dr Fadale and his team. Dr Fadale was actually my second opinion and I almost wish he was my first and last. My experience started with Kerri, the teams office and patient services coordinator. While my first doctor was impossible to get a hold of, Kerri was responsive and she didn’t pick up immediately, she always return my calls in a timely fashion. Everything was expedited with her, including appointments, transfer of paperwork, eventually TDI. Then I met Dr Fadale. Dr Fadale was quick, but thorough in his examination and evaluation, answered all my questions and most importantly gave my options and guided me through them. He did not pressure meany which way. At his age and his career level its easy to see Dr Fadale as having a huge ego and jaded. Quite the contrary, I saw Dr Fadale as very humble and very empathetic. They day of my surgery and followups where scary times. However Dr Fadale was like any good coach. He walked me through everything and set realistic expectations. Notably he didn’t get too excited about inconsiderable gains and scolded me for not meeting certain checkpoints. Finally Tom from PT is just as competent and experienced as anybody else on the team. Tom knows when to push me and when to hold back. He understands my body better than I do. He is a great communicator and helped me achieve my goals in the timeline I wanted. Dr. Fadale at University Orthopedics is my HERO...I have been suffering with right knee pain for over one year, going to another orthopedic service who didn’t seem to care about the impact the pain was having on my quality of life. They collected co pay after copay, X-rays, cortisone injections, multiple anti inflammatory medication regimes and pretty much telling me to live with it. My daughter told me to check out UO, called them and got an appt within 6 days, had arthroscopic knee surgery 2 weeks later on Nov 6, i just had my follow up appt and feel amazing. Still need to continue to strengthen my knee, however I have been pain free since surgery! I kept thinking the pain would return once the anesthesia wore off but honestly all I took was Motrin and Tylenol Prophylactically , in case pain started... it’s been an amazing experience, starting with Dr. Fadale, Stacy in rehab and every person I have encountered at UO in East Providence have been great! I had more than just one meniscus tear; had two and more work to be done to help with pain in my knee. He was professional, efficient and fix me. Surgery was quick and painless! I had intermittent pain in my knee ranging from sharp pain to dull throbbing. I tried PT but wasn't seeing any improvement. Based on the symptoms and scans Dr Fadale recommended Arthroscopic Surgery. I had the knee surgery and Dr Fadale was able to correct the meniscus tear with minimal pain and swelling. I was able to walk in to PT three days following the surgery without the need for crutchers. Within 6 days of the surgery I was able to restart my daily walking. I couldn't of hoped for a better result.

Cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Fadale and his team! From pre-op appointments to surgery and now post-op, he wants the best for each patient and truly cares about their well being. I couldn't be more impressed with his bedside manner and approach to stressful situations, he made me feel right at ease throughout the entire process. Had a miniscus tear! Dr Fadale was excellent! Went to Rhode Island Hospital for operation and the staff were excellent too! I would recommend him to every friend and relative which most of my family experience!

What a pleasure. He apologized for keeping me waiting (it wasn't really that long), engaged me in the examination by showing me my knee xrays, clearly and with patience explained my options and helped me get to the next step by arranging for a surgeon in his practice to see me. Took my concerns about lifestyle limitations very seriously and sincerely. TERRIFIC.

I went to Paul specifically after he was recommended by a friend. I tore my ACL on my left knee. Pre/post care was excellent, surgery for the repair went perfect! Paul is a master of his craft, and enjoyable to have as a surgeon. He is all business, but, takes time to ensure his patients are well cared for and doing well.

Am 60 yr. old male, who had a partial meniscectomy done at the Kettle Point Outpatient Center. Dr. Fadale's reputation as knee surgeon is well established. The quality of my experience with the entire team involved in my surgery was superb. Dr. Fadale's "bedside manner" is confident and assuring. And particular kudos to Sonia, (Surgical Coordinator). For whatever it's worth: Much of recent literature suggests that those beyond approx. age 55 with a meniscus tear get equally good results with managing this medically vs. surgery. I did "medically manage" my tear for almost 2 yrs., before the tear got larger in January and surgery was required. In retrospect, I probably should have had it done 2 yrs. ago.

Dr. Fadale is excellent! He has great bedside manner, thoroughly and clearly explaining my operation before and after. I never felt rushed, he spent as much time as I wanted discussing everything. I highly recommend him. His office and nursing staff were also great.

Dr. Fadale and his supporting staff are EXCELLENT! I'm 55 and had arthroscopic surgery March 2020 for torn menisci in my right knee. I sought out Dr. Fadale as he previously operated on my son's ACL and resolved my wife's knee problem. Top notch from initial consult to post-op followup. Everyone, and I mean everyone, that managed my situation gave 110% - front desk, scheduling, pre-op, insurance, billing, PT - no one missed a beat!!!! I highly recommend Dr. Fadale.

Dr. Fadale is an awesome surgeon! I just had my third knee surgery with him due to wear and tear from 50+ years of playing basketball and other sports. My physical therapist said my knee was best looking post-op knee he had ever seen in his entire 15 year career. I highly recommend Dr. Fadale.

I had a meniscal tear and had previously seen a terrible doctor in warwick, ri. A coworker told me about Dr. Fidale.. best decision I ever made was switching over to him. He performed a surgery and also helped to clean up my arthritis. I had the surgery on a Thursday and was back at work on Monday. My healing has been incredibly quick. He is very gentle, kind and knowledgeable. I felt 100% comfortable with him immediately. I would recommend him to everyone.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Paul Fadale and University Orthopedics to have laparoscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in my knee. The surgery went very well, with very little pain afterwards. (I did not need to fill the prescriptions for various pain pills they prescribed; Acetaminophen worked fine.) As instructed, I elevated my knee and iced my knee for three days, and I recovered very quickly. Their new facility at Kettle Point in East Providence/Riverside is spacious, state of the art, and the plentiful, free parking is much easier than having to go to the Hospital area in Providence. All the appointments and procedures went well, and it was convenient having my follow up physical therapy in the same building. I am very pleased with the outcome and how smoothly everything went.

Dr. Fadale was recommended by a friend after I tore my meniscus. From the very first visit to my discharge after surgery, Dr. Fadale and his team were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely kind. After three days of icing/elevating post-surgery, I was back to work on Day 4, and I resumed all normal activities within a week. Dr. Fadale is my hero. He has given me my life back!

I was referred to Dr. Fadale after a very disappointing experience with another surgeon. The prior surgeon made me feel insignificant and unwelcome, and I left feeling as though the results of my xrays and MRIs were misinterpreted to make my injuries sound less extensive than they were. My experience with Dr. Fadale was the complete opposite. He listened to me as I explained my pain. He took one look at the xrays and MRIs and showed me where the damage was located and explained how it was causing the pain I was experiencing. His no-nonsense and straightforward approach was appreciated as he explained what he could do to help me and what I should expect as an outcome of the procedure. He was right on target. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to deal with a compassionate but straightforward professional!

Dr Fadale is professional, personable and very kind. He makes you feel heard and understood. He performed my surgery and left me with no questions or concerns. I would see him again if orthopedic services were needed.

Dr. Fadale saved the day for me. I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus and was referred by my primary care to a Dr. that had no sense of urgency. This Dr. pushed me off for over a month. As a result, my knee extension was compromised and I had to do months of PT before having surgery. I reached out to Dr. Fadale for a second opinion and couldn't be happier! I am 4 weeks out of surgery, feeling great and so thankful for Dr. Fadale!!!!

BLOWN AWAY by results After 7 weeks of misdiagnosed ACL tear I scheduled surgery with Dr Paul Fadale. He said I’d walk without crutches in 2 weeks, and guess what he was RIGHT! Keys to a great surgery are the doctor, rest, knee raised, stay on top of pain, PTearly, the BREG ice machine. This guy is tops in my book! Place your trust in him.

I completely obliterated my left shoulder and rotator cuff, was in severe pain every day until Dr. Fadale operated and literally stitched all that was torn. I have been pain-free following the operation until now. I completed PT and have full range of motion. There are many very good Doctors who do what they do very well, I just happened to have the very best and am very thankful to have been treated by Dr. Paul Fadale.

Dr. Fadale did an exceptional job diagnosing my condition. In my case a surgical procedure was necessary on my knee and while no one is excited about surgery it was the best option and the Doctor and his team did a wonderful job getting it done and getting me back up on my feet in a short time. Dr.Fadale was very professional and right to the point he gave me my options and his recommendations my meniscus surgery went fantastic ,recovery has been painless 10 days out no pain flexibility and range of motion is back to normal I had other knee done 4 years ago recovery was a lot more difficult.Ice ,Ice and more Ice and recovery has been great this time around

This was my first major injury that required surgery. Something I feared my entire life and it ended up happening to me. I saw Dr Fadale the day after my injury and within 30 seconds he was able to tell me my achilles was ruptured and I needed surgery. Just as quickly he told me he would work to get me back to normal as quickly as possible.
