I took my dad to CoreMedical in Pittston where he met Dr. Gehin & found out that he was a candidate for stem cell therapy for his torn rotator cuffs. He was surprised to find out that he could actually get the procedure done that very same day! He said the injections didn't hurt at all & when he walked out of the doctor's office, he was able to lift both arms up without any pain or assistance. I was totally shocked! My father had two torn rotator cuffs in his shoulders. Because of other medical concerns, he was told he was not a candidate for surgery. He suffered for more than 10 years as his shoulders continued to deteriorate and became more and more painful. As a farmer he was losing his ability to get his work done or earn a living and as an avid hunter he had already lost the ability to do what he enjoyed. He had not been able to sleep in a bed for more than two years because the pain was intolerable. He could no longer lift his left arm without holding it up with his right arm. Excellent service .. caring doctor and friendly staff. Dr. Gehin took the time to actually listen to my concerns and took the time to explain why I was in pain. He created a personal treatment plan for me and after completing decompression I feel great! I have my quality of life back.
