It is not at all recommended. Rather than ordering a test to determine if my son had a growth hormone deficiency, the provider lectured my son and me on how "ok" it is to be short. My son suffered a lot and it was preventable.

Dr is not listening to my concern, clearly my son test result are NOT within normal range. But instead she blames something else. Look, I don't have the time or the money to chase something else while this clearly looks wrong, also my son's condition had been going since birth, if it was something else, I already knew by now (I need new doctor because his doctor since birth had left AZ). She refused to give my son a prescription and let my son suffer. Worst doctor in the world. I don't know how she can sleep at night knowing that she made some kids suffer. Horrible Customer Service with Scheduling. I received a call to schedule an appt for my daughter who has seen an endo for the last few years due to puberty & prediabetes. Well because my pcp didn’t put prediabetic on the referral the girl refused to schedule an appt for that reason too. Her reasoning for not scheduling for both reasons was because if she did it would look like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Seriously? I’ve worked for a doctors office before and whatever the patient said I never argued with, if they want to be seen for some other reason, as well as the reasoning the referral says I would schedule the appt. I finally told her it’s fine I’ll go somewhere else since you’re refusing to help me and then she wanted to help, isn’t that funny how that works. Horrible Customer Service with Scheduling. I had low testosterone for a very specific reason was well aware that my production would not continue. Due to the low testosterone I had no longer been able to work, certain organs began to stop working properly and I was suffering massive depression how ever I was told it was a tumor that could be causing this and they said come back in 3 months to see if there’s any change. I’ve then since found a testosterone replacement Clinic who was aware of my situation being more common than most think and got me back on the testosterone treatment. No tumor and waiting any longer was near a death sentence. The staff here will not fake your concerns seriously while I understand their medical profession is on the line I would not recommend this dr. Dr. Patel is an amazing physician she was able to listens to our concerns and provides feedback that is not only beneficial but easy to understand for patients and there families. This provider has been a great asset to my families healthcare and we recommend her and all of the Banner physicians as some of the best in the valley.

Dr. Patel is a great provider and helped us very much with my child's endocrinology issues.

Dr. Patel says my daughter's symptoms meant nothing. Was condescending. Made fun of me because I have the same thyroid problem as my daughter so I know a little and I mentioned T3. Dr. Patel told me she went to medical school and never heard of T3 being relevant to thyroid problems and to please tell her how I knew more than she did. Basically said my daughter only needed weight management control and to see a dietician. Worst excuse for medical care I have ever seen. We walked out.
