As senior citizens my parents have been treated and talked down to for far too long at this Dr's office. Front staff is horribly rude, lazy useless‼️ They are VERY DISRESPECTFUL ‼️ RATING 0 -⭐ MY 76 year old PARENTS WILL HAVE to look elsewhere‼️‼️

I had an appointment on Wednesday 2/2/22 that was blood pressure related. I have had my pressure checked countless of times at so many different doctor's offices that I am able to spot proper technique. In this instance, the nurse measured my blood pressure incorrectly and therefore ended up with the wrong measurement. I told her the values were wrong and kindly asked to have it measured again. I thought for certain that the second time she would use the proper technique but all she did different was use the other arm. I told her that those numbers were wrong and that the physician would not believe that my visit was pressure related. Her response was that they would more than likely just draw blood to find out what was going on. The physician was very professional and kind but unfortunately due to the wrong blood pressure measurements led me to three wrong diagnosis. She checked it again and the numbers were accurate finally. She apologized on behalf of the nurse and clinic.

About their front end staff-it takes forever to get a phone call answered. Faster if you can go in and get appointment, paperwork, etc. They ignore you for most part until 1 lady who takes care all patients checking in and all going out-making appointments. All other ladies are just answering phones. They are overwhelmed, since it seems like a factory there-get them packed in, wait for over an hour and another 30 mins to 1 hour to see P.A.(doctors assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner) THEY ARE NICE AND GOOD. BUT DON'T SEE DR. MCDOUGAL. One, he is never there or doesnt see patients. Second, no manners. My father was discharged from hospital. We went to see him, McD spent his full 5-8 min. with us but all time looking at computer and discharge notes from hospital. Asks a few questions and then He gets up and says "well take care". I stop him -"Aren't you even going to look at him, check his injury, ask my dad how he feels ( I think to myself "so that way you can be conscious free that you tended to your patient and bill the insurance! SARCASTICALLY). i bet he tends to all his other businesses better!!, BEWARE, THEY WILL SEND YOU TO DR HOSPITAL RENAISANNCE not Knapp. Even if its simple things like X-Rays. If you say you cannot go to Renaissance, they say its better over there, not Knapp. But for some of us who work, families trade off other family members to sit with parents or children in hospital. I've not visited Dr. McDougal. But we have talked on the phone and he is one of the few doctors that provide home care. He and his staff are terrific. Since I started the renal diet, they have taken me off Metformin and Lisinopril. Hooray!

I visited the Dr. McDougal’s night clinic at 8:30 pm. I was turned away as the receptionist said they closed at 9:00 pm. Why was I turned away? Doors are open until 9:00 pm. I brought my dad to see this doctor and Gracie and Mary we're very helpful and friendly. They helped the patients with a lot of TLC. The administrative staff has a lot to learn from them. When I was "greeted" by a fake blonde girl, no eye contact was made so I did not know who called me and she called me as though I was bothering her. On several occasions, the medications have not been called in to the indicated pharmacy. After calling the doctors office numerous times asking them to please phone in prescriptions, they did do it. It took a trip to the doctor specifically for the prescription. This happened Easter Weekend and again today. Terrible service.
