I disagree with the one review I just read. I just had an appointment with him and he gave me a lot of attention and care and explanation beyond his expertise. The medication he prescribed for me is working fine and now I can walk more easily and much of my arthritis pain is gone. His assistant is just as knowledgeable and very comforting. I'd rate Dr. Fischer five stars.

Dr. Fischer is one of my favorite doctors I have ever seen, and I have seen quite a few recently. He recognized my problems right away and explained everything. He always spends a lot of time with me and doesn't treat you like you are an idiot just because you are not a doctor. He reads a lot of research articles and offers their findings when you ask him for advice. He keeps your other doctor's informed on his assessment. I wish there were more doctors just like him. I highly trust and recommend him.

I would not recommend Dr. Fischer to anyone!I was pretty sick for quite some time & saw Dr. Fischer 10 years ago & then was sent back to him recently by my new pcp. I was reluctant to go back to him because he had pretty much dismissed my weight gain & pain saying I had fibromyalgia & some hypermobility & needed to work out. I have since been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis & Hypothyroidism. He did not run the correct tests to rule these out. He had no compassion or empathy for me.

Dr. Fischer is kind & knowledgeable, he actually listens to you & works with you on your problems.

My experience with Dr Fischer has been one of the best ever. Dr Fischer is not only taking care of my RA the best that he can keeping me free of pain but also making sure that all my health issues get addressed. He looks for the best doctors for me for other illnesses, he makes sure that the appointments get scheduled. Then, he requests all the possible test available to know all the illnesses that I have and make sure that the doctors get the medical records. Dr Fischer is amazing, he calls directly to my primary and other doctors and discuss the issues with them and he makes sure everybody has all the medical records up to date. I'm very lucky to have him as my Rheumatologist and I really believe that if it wasn't for him I wouldn't know about a serious illness that I have. Thank you Dr Fischer and God bless you.

Three months ago my PCP diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After putting up with extreme pain for a few weeks I made an appt with Dr. Fischer. So happy I did. Very professional and reassuring - and after a few weeks I am now virtually pain free. He put my mind at ease concerning the side effects of some of the meds available (and these days there are many). I highly recommend him!
