Dr. Peter N Gorlin

I've had the pleasure of being his patient in the ER. He helped me on many occasions with pure agony from break through pain with my pancreas. He treated me quickly to end my suffering and, on several occasions he diagnosed pneumonia and admitted me. On one of the visits to the ER I had both, the break through pain and pneumonia and was very close to coding. He sent me to Umass Memorial in Worcester, Ma. When I arrived a doctor or a nurse said, 'Your ER doctor in Athol saved your life from his actions that he took.' Everything from that time is a blur, but I do remember that and I don't remember what the saving actions were. However, he was great with me as with other times that I suffered from the above. He's a good man and a great doctor.
