Dr. Peter James Killian

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Killian’s for over 2 years. I came with a batch of previous surgeries that had failed. Dr. Killian has helped me tremendously, especially with my many fickle sinus issues. His staff is also very attentive and alert. I appreciate everything he’s done!

Dr Killian is fabulous and so is his assistant Alissa. I had sinus surgery in March 2021 and he made me feel comfortable and I trusted him from the beginning. Each follow-up visit was the same, comforting and easy to talk to, easy to understand.

I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Killian and have never been dissatisfied with the level of care he provides. He always listens to what I have to say and takes it into serious consideration as part of his diagnosis. I never feel like he is in a hurry to write a prescription and get on to his next patient. As someone suffering from a chronic disease which has required many specialists over the past 23 years, I know what it is like to be blown off by a doctor as they rush to write a prescription and move onto the next patient in their overcrowded waiting room. It always feels like he considers my case independently and does not make generalized blanket assumptions about my care. I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Killian and his thoughtful, informed decisions about my care which have a direct impact on the quality of my daily life. We are fortunate to have him as a provider in the Treasure Valley. He stands out as an exceptional provider whom I would recommend without hesitation.

I went to Dr. Killian because he treated my husband with a rare type of cancer. He was absolutely amazing with his knowledge and with his professional care and deep compassion that he not only had for my husband, but also for me as he wife. Because of that experience, I had some problems myself, so I knew exactly who I wanted to contact and see. With my visit, all though it was nothing in severity like my husband, Dr. Killian still explained everything throughly to me about my condition and what he would recommend. He was just as professional, caring and pleasant.

Dr. Killian has really helped me with my sinus condition, I was diagnosed in 2010 withSamtersTriad Syndrome I have been seeing him for this since then , he has done my sinus surgeries from removing polyps to putting tubes in my ears as an adult I love him and his staff , Thank you Dr Killian ,YOU ARE AWESOME !

After my sinus surgery, I continued to have sinus issues. It was impacting my quality of life. Dr. Killian was always so vague in explaining what to expect. His attitude came off as, I know what I'm doing. After my surgery, I had a big black eye. At an after visit, Dr. Killian laughingly said, wow who punched you in the eye. I just assumed this was a risk from surgery. When I told him it was from the surgery he had a look on his face of shock and guilt. When I explained that I was still having problems his EXACT words were, "The surgery was successful so" then he walked out of my appointment. A year ago I saw my dentist and he was looking in to pulling my back tooth. After taking x-rays, he said to me, "you have so much cartilage missing that if I pull your back tooth, your nose will collapse." We were both shocked. It was sobering. I saw another ENT and he was honest enough to say to me, "look the truth is these sinus surgeries aren't always successful." I appreciated his honesty.

IV seen Dr Killian off and on for over 20 years. He takes the time to answer questions as long as you need. Very efficient and I love his nurses!

I have been a patient for 2 years and if you have a sinus problem Dr. Killian provides outstanding care, very good bedside manor, very good communication and compassionate care

Dr Killian cleared up my daughter's outer ear infection in just one office visit which another facility couldn't do in a year and a half. Very pleased with Dr Killian

Dr. Killian ensured I understood the issues and solutions. I feel much more a part of my health care.

Dr. Killian saw my 7 year old son last week. He was AMAZING with my son went the extra mile for my family as well. Love, Love, Love this doctor, would recommend you start here if you have any sinus issues!!

He was thorough and listened to my symptoms and concerns, but my experience in his waiting room makes it almost not worth it.

Patients quality of life is very important to Dr. Killian
