When I got there I was very nervous.I thought I was going to hear bad news about my scan because of the radiologist’s report.Dr.Cozzi reassured me that he could not see what the radiologist reported.He asked me several questions,gave me a thorough physical exam and reviewed the scan with me on his computer.Being that I had no symptoms,he reassured me that I was fine and not to worry.I will repeat the scan in one year.

Told us to shut up in the most evil voice seconds after hearing the time of death of or brother. Said if we did not shut up he would have us removed from the hospital. What kind of evil human being is this? Now we have to live with this for the rest of our lives.

Few second after my brothers passing. He told us to shut up or he was gonna call security and have us kicked out of the hospital. Non human being. Not professional at all. Will be taking this us to higher people. Does not deserve any stars. Who does that to people? We were only reacting to the hard news.

This doctor does not deserve any stars. He was very condescending with a lost of our family member. He treated my family like animals. I will be contacting the medical board as well. Very professional, yet professional. Dr. Cozzi is consistently booked, and I see why. So very excited I got a chance to be seen, I feel confident of my respiratory issues finally being addressed.

The receptionist was superb. The intake nurse put me at my ease and carefully asked about my issues and concerns. Dr. Cozzi was excellent! He looked over all my numbers. He also checked me out physically. As my concerns and issues had been noted he took the time to clearly explain and then discuss them with me. Everything was addressed to my satisfaction.

Very caring knowledgeable & thorough! Remembers all family members names! Always highly professional and well versed in all conditions !

Dr Cozzo is pleasant and upbeat. We discussed new symptoms and possible causes. He has changed my inhaler dosage and requested that I follow up with an appointment in 12 months or sooner if necessary. He is alert and knowledgeable and pursues best outcomes for his patients.

DR. Cozzi is Not just a great person ! He is an awesome DR who goes above and beyond ! He explains things, he cares about you, he takes time. I don't ever feel like just another person. I feel good when I leave ! Thank you DR Cozzi Keep on being you !

I was not looking forward to seeing a pulmonary doctor. I smoke and have in the past been made to feel "subhuman " because of this. Dr. Cozzi made me feel completely human. Said that I was a victim. With his help I am determined to quit. He gave me a good pep talk. He listened to me. I would recommend him to everyone.

Beware of Dr. Cozzi and Edwards Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cozzi billed me for reviewing test results he prescribed after an office visit I paid him for.

Dr Cozzi is probably the only doctor I know that makes return calls when the patient is very concerned. He is very personable but above all, he knows and understands lung functions and recommends the best treatment possible. I highly recommend Dr Cozzi!

Dr. Cozzi was informative, kind, and funny. He gave me peace of mind about the node on my husband's lung. Having been widowed once, I do not want to go through that again. I am a little overly protective as a result. My husband is a precious gift, so I want him to be as healthy as possible.

My appointment was on the big snow day, Monday, the 15th at 4pm. Not only did they not cancel my appointment, when the Doc had an emergency, they were going to set me up with the PA so my trip wasnt wasted. My last two new Docs have been with Edward - Elmhurst and my ortho changed over too. Great place, really wondeful people.

Outside of a long wait everything was thorough and professional. Asking detailed questions and explaining as we went. I am happy to have Dr Cozzi as on of my doctors.

Doom and gloom doctor, ....very blunt with terrible bedside manner. He discouraged my husband to the point of giving up and his condition got worse. He insisted on a bronchoscopy for my husband which ruined his life and caused his quality of life to be miserable. The bronchoscopy caused my husband's breathing and digestion to be compromised. Terrible.

Dr Cozzi saved my life when I entered the ER in 2011 close to my last breath due to clots in my lungs. I've been under his care ever since he's a kind and informative Doc. No sugar coating with him. Great guy. I truly recommend him to all.

I do highly recommend Dr.Philip Cozzi to Family, Friends and strangers.He took such great care of my Father for 12 years and helped him live a very long and comfortable life despite having pulmonary issues and stomach cancer.Dr.Cozzi is a very knowledgeable ,thorough,kind ,caring,patient, and compassionate doctor .He truly cares about his patients and follows up with phone calls.We could not have asked for a better Doctor for my Father.He also has an AMAZING staff as well!Excellent Doctor !!!!!!

Dr. Cozzi was one of many physicians collaborating to determine the cause of my husband's illness last year. He was very thorough in the exam, explained everything to us clearly, was accurate with the diagnosis and he prescribed a successful treatment plan. He continued to follow up at the hospital, reassuring us that all was going well. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Cozzi, although I had seen other pulmonologists before moving to this area. As an older woman with advanced COPD, I expected to be seen for a 15-20 minute visit. To my surprise this doctor is extremely thorough and patient plus willing to spend enough time to get truly acquainted with his patient. He is very well versed in technology, which (to me) is an important part of medical care in today's world. Added to all of this he is very empathetic!

I have been a patient of Dr. P. Cozzi for 12 years and he has been the most caring, and so patience in explaining my situation and problem. He is the best! His nurse Mary will go out of her way to help.
