I have my annual checkup coming for April 8th. I still have not got my prescription for blood work. I know when I go on 8th without blood work results Doctor will not be able to do much. All these issues are happening once Dr moved to Advent Health. I called the appointment scheduling line and they have no idea about having to do blood work prior to annual checkup. Dr Shah has been my PCP for over 10 years. But now I am being forced to change my PCP because her office LITERALLY wont let me see her. I know this is funny, but its not. I am not sure whats going on but they are dropping the ball at multiple levels. Story/Details: They scheduled my physical without a prescription to blood work. The day of, they asked me if I got blood work done. Which I cant if I don't have the prescription. Said they will get back to me with prescription. Nothing for 2 weeks. Called back, and they said, they will need to talk to Dr Shah. Now almost 6 weeks later I am still waiting. Called in today and they have outsourced scheduling to some 3rd party which could care less. I told em, if I cant schedule an appointment, I will have to look for another PCP. GUESS what they say "You can pick up your records by submitting a form at the front office". Asked to be transferred to office manager, Susan, and I was left on hold for over 20 minutes and then told that she is busy. Well...who is going to need that records form afterall.. this guy! Dr Shah has been my primary doctor for over 10 years. She is the best always goes step above and beyond.
