Dr. Ramona Yousefipour

The most genuine and kind dentist I have met in a long time! She truly cares and is so compassionate for all of her patients. I am so happy I found a great dentist for my whole family.

We've been with Dr Ramona and her team since we moved to Oakley. Her demeanor is so pleasant. Her staff are a pleasure to talk to and so helpful when it comes to insurance issues. She's great with the whole family - including my children and my dentist averse husband. So great to have a great dentist in Oakley!

Delta Fmily Dentist ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???????? This is a must tell experience, that I will never forget.. I needed emergency work done on my teeth that had been bothering me for some time. Believe me when I tell you, I have had my share of a few, issues with it came to dental offices and there insurance companies, for year's. I have been meaning to share this post for some time and this is the truth as to why this POST, is on long over due. *I will never forget the first day of my Emergency appointment at Delta Family Dentistry 2817 Main Street Oakley Ca (94561) *I was complete at a loss for words the fist time I talked with the staff. They were very knowledgeable and polite and very courteous to me. I really appreciated the amount of concern they showed for me and my situation, I was extremely stressed and irritated from the pain I was dealing with just the generosity shown to me upon entering the building was remarkable . I completely felt relaxed and in the right place. My dentist by the name of *Dr, Ramona was a wonderful and amazing dentist, she was also patient and kind and gave me great knowledgeable information she explained in perfect detail what I could and should expect. I have always had a fear of the dentist from certain hourable situations I've been through. Vsiting this dentist office totally gave me a different outlook on how a person should feel after visiting a dentist office for the first time. The employees and staff totally gave me a presentation of what a good happy family dentist office should offer no mater were you go. This deticated company definitely deserves five plus Stars, just for having loyal people person employees. I definitely felt at ease and my comfort level and calmness after speaking with the front desk staff made my heart feel more relaxed. , I was absolutely impressed . I'm no longer fear going to the Dentist thanks to, Delta Family dentistry it is with a dought a place for me. I went in to see Dr. Yousefipour for a cracked tooth. She is not my primary dentist but because her office is so close to my house and not wanting to take extra time off of work, I went to see her. That was a big mistake. I should have never chosen convenience over the dentist I've seen for years and built trust in. That being said, I needed to have a crown done for my tooth so I scheduled an appointment with her. I came in the day of and though her bio says that her dentistry is "gentle" it was nothing of the sort. First, she slightly numbed me with a topical gel and then when giving me the novocaine she hit my nerve right off the bat. Secondly, her assistant was extremely heavy handed and was literally choking me throughout the procedure. Her assistant was supposedly "moving" my tongue out of the way so my tongue didn't get drilled. Dr. Yousefipour said this is typical because of the tooth they were working on, but I had two other molar crown's done by my dentist in the past and never experienced anything like this. I understand that a tooth can be hard to get to, but the amount of pressure put upon me did not seem justified. I've had dozens of dental procedures throughout my lifetime and have always been able to breath out of my nose. In this case though, her assistant put such immense pressure on the back of my tongue, hence my throat, that I had a very difficult time breathing and swallowing. Every time I tried to swallow it was like this massive force was pushing down against me. We had to stop more than a few times so that I could swallow and catch my breath. Dr. Yousefipour seemed to think that I was nervous or that I couldn't handle the procedure, but it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with her, her assistant and the barbaric techniques they've adopted. I was so bothered by my experience at Dr. Yousefipour's office that when my crown came in I asked Laura to have the doctor call me back. I wanted to discuss my initial experience with her and hopefully not have the same thing happen again. I called on a Thursday and by the following Wednesday I still had not heard back. Dr. Yousefipour's lack of care and compassion blew me away, so I ended up calling my insurance company to file a claim and hopefully get some of my money back. Dr. Yousefipour finally called me later that Wednesday and it was most likely not because I called a second time, but because she caught wind of the claim. Anyhow, I asked if after everything I had gone through if she would give me a portion of my money back (which I initially paid in full) and she flat out said, "no." I responded back that I believe she's only in this for the money. I say this not to be a dick, but if you look at the outside of the building and how dilapidated it has become (which should have been my first warning to leave), how dated and dingy the inside of it is, the cheap silver temporary crown she put on me (which gave off a weird sensation when using metal utensils), then compare that to the car she drives (Porsche) and what she charged me (with insurance $654), it seems clear that her pocket book is what matters most. And not her patients. I ended up going back to my original dentist for the same tooth and paid out of pocket for them to finish the job. BTW, had I gone to them initially with my insurance, they would've charged me $420, which included my deductible. To start, my dentist numbed me up super well (as she always has) with a topical numbing gel before injecting me with the novocaine. During the injections she never hit my nerve once or at least I didn't feel it. Not once did I feel that I was being choked and I could completely breathe through my nose without any issue. Additionally, when my doctor took off the POS silver temporary crown that Dr. Y put on me, she had to spend another 45 minutes drilling down more of my tooth because she said as it was there wouldn't have be enough room to put the permanent crown on. From L iz Nunes--My new favorite Dentist! VERY gentle (I'm a 65 yr old big baby) had a cleaning without any discomfort, nice friendly staff. They are accepting new patients! Yah! Highly recommend Dr. Ramona ❤️

Dr. Ramona and her staff are excellent, gentle, and caring professionals who immediately put me at ease and promptly resolved my dental issues while first informing of my situation and options. I am a very happy customer and patient. I'll be back and I'll highly recommend them to my family, friends, and fellow Googlers.

I’ve been going to Delta Family Dentistry for a few years now. They have excellent customer service, knowledgeable dental assistants, and Dr. Ramona is awesome.

I was on vacation and I experienced pain in my tooth. I called Delta Family Dentistry to schedule an appointment upon my return. I flew home from my vacation and the air pressure magnified the pain. My lower jaw was swollen and my gum where tooth was located was severely swollen. I called the emergency number after I arrived and was able to move my appointment to an earlier time. Long story short my tooth was cracked. Dr. Ramona had to prescribed medication before she could do any work. The tooth that was cracked, I had a root canal on that tooth which was done many many years ago by another dentist. After most of swelling went down and most of pain subsided, I don't like needles but Dr. Ramona had to numb the areas so that she could pull my tooth. I can't believe how smooth the procedure went. Procedure was done on 1/17/2018. I must admit the pain that i thought i was going to experience by having this procedure was pretty much pain free. Dr. Ramona talked to me throughout the process.
