Very thorough, and professional. Explained the process in a way that my husband could understand. Feel very confident that the surgery will be successful to relieve the pain my husband is experiencing.

I had surgery done from this doctor 8 months ago. My hand still hurting and numbness is there. Not good at answering the questions at follow up visits. At discharge when asked about pain in the hand he got up in a minute and said, No No I can't explain. Said surgey went well and gone. I will say bad bad bedside manners and only I know that surgery did not go well. I am so scared to ask any question from him and go to him again because I can't talk back when someone trying offenses. My hand still cannot lift anything and lot of problem working at my work. And he did not even write good letter for work so that I could ask for reasonable accomidation. I will say my surgery went well only 50%. Not good at follow up at all. Never have time to see the pt even 5 minutes at follow up and he never watches his physical therapist if he does his job right, he give you 5-8 minutes maximum and charges 30 minutes from insurance. But good at talking though. Front desk staff is excellent.

This man changed my life. I am 26 and have had 4 surgeries on my right hip. It left me with long, wide, indented scars, and if you looked at it from the side, it looked like a chunk of my muscle was missing. I haven't worn shorts or a bikini in the summer since 2016 because of it. Finally in September I broke down, because I hated the way I looked and made an appointment to see if anything could be done. I went in on a Monday, and THAT Friday I was in his operating room having a scar excision and scar revision surgery. We had to make the scar a little longer, but it's not sunken in. It's not wide anymore. It's one razor thin line. It's still kinda red (about 2 months post op now), and I've been told it'll just take time for the scar color to settle to normal skin tone and to its final form. If my scar looks like this for the rest of my life, I would never complain about it another day in my life. I am 1000% happy with the results as they are now, and my pain and mental health are so much better. I even wore a bikini the last nice swimming weekend in October and felt confident and beautiful. Great staff, wonderful physical therapist. Everything was explained thoroughly. Dr. J. ‘S demeanor was professional and warm. Did not have to wait long.

Dr Janevicius Was to the point and reviewed my X-ray. He explained my limitations in order to heal. A therapist is on site and made a custom splint for my finger which I greatly appreciated. Any you buy in a store are either too big or too uncomfortable.

I am 26 and have had 6 hip operations, including 2 hip replacements. The scars are big and ugly. My first one became atrophied (hypotrophic scar), and the scar widened and became “sunk in”. From the front, it just looks bad, but from a side view, it looks like I’m missing a chunk of muscle. I went to Dr. J hoping to get any good news for making it look any better. I went in on a Monday and that Friday I was in his OR have scar revision. I feel so beautiful now. I can wear shorts and a bikini now without crying. He gave me back my confidence and my scar almost completely disappeared. His team is incredible. The nurse who took out my sutures a week later was the model for bedside manner. Everyone was very personable and kind and genuinely cares.

Dr. J is the best doc I have ever gone to. His bed side manner is amazing, and he is an outstanding surgeon. He was able to sucessfully reconstruct my husband's thumb after he had a table saw accident. I definitely recommended him!!

Such a likable gentleman! Explains in detail with wording laypeople understand. Happy to have him on my voyage. I’m fully confident in his unique abilities.

DR. Janevicius excised a squamous cell carcinoma from my hand on June 16th. The nursing and support staff were efficient and thoughtful and the surgery was painless and successful. I was very happy with the services I received at Elmhurst Hospital.

Dr. Janevicius and his entire staff where always very friendly, helpful, and comforting. I'm fortunate to be in their care.

Dr. Janevicius took the time to explain the cause of my son's concern. He also told him what changes, if any, to watch for in the future.

very professional and thorough

Saturday the 4th I had a saw accident where I lost the tip of my finger. I made an appointment to see Dr. Janevicius on the 6th he was super helpful and explained all my options. We agreed to do the V-Y Advancement Flap and he scheduled the surgery for the very next day! It's been 3 weeks since surgery and the work he has done is amazing every day my finger is looking better and functioning well.

Honestly at first I thought, “Oh he’s thorough and maybe this will be good. Nope I had a surgery prior to Dr. Janevicious that didn’t go well. Then I had a couple with him. Let’s say he was not very nive for followups. I heard him going off on his co workers while I was getting ready to go under during the last one. He blamed me for my follow up surgeries. It took more than two years for my surgical area to heal. He writes things in medical reports patients don’t know about check your records!

Dr Janevicius did a breast reduction on me. It was a mess. The result was completely uneven. I could not even wear regular bathing suits. It took many consultations with other doctors and 3 surgeries to revise his huge mistake. The other doctors really hadn't seen anything like it, nor had I. I did try to follow up with him and he just told me that everything would settle over time--total lie, anyone could have seen there was no way that this case would settle into anything remotely normal

Spent all the time I needed to answer all my questions. I arrived about 10 minutes early to fill out the paperwork. I was called to go into the exam room one minute after the appointment time. In the exam room there was no wait time.

I had breast reconstruction with Dr. Janevicius and although I understand healing is different for everyone, my breasts look really bad. Dr. Janevicius and staff are totally there for you until after the surgery. There is no follow-up. If appearance does not matter to you, then you'll be fine, but if you'd like to be able to look at your breasts without crying, then I would perhaps look elsewhere.
