Will not go back. Was ordered to go to Dr Gerstein, but he wasn't available, so I ended up with Dr Landau. Dr Landau was dismissive of my concerns, condescending, sanctimonious and rude. He asked me if I was "going through a mid life crises". I guess because I'm a 56 yr old post menepausal woman that rides a motorcycle. I've been having persistent blood in my urine since an accident I was in 6 months prior. My family doctor and gynocologist were concerned and wanted me checked out by a urologist. Dr Landau let me know that it was inconvenient to him other doctors send patients like me to him because evidentially it's normal/common for post menopausal woman to have persistent blood in their urine and only he knows this. The other doctors freak out for no good reason. He was also dismissive of other concerns and made an inappropriate comment about a question I had. I actually felt more concerned for my health after my appointment and so am getting a second opinion. I trust more my family doctor and gynocologist and other woman I talk to my age. We took my dad to see this doctor. We found out in the first week in June of 2021 that my dad had prostate cancer. He was sent for more scans and the results were delayed because the doctor was on "vacation" by the time my dad was finally able to see the doctor again to be referred for treatment it was 2 and a half MONTHS after being first diagnosed. When we went to see him today he asked me and my sister if we were vaccinated. This is not his business as he is a UROLOGIST. He said "I am not going to lecture you" and then went on a 10 minute tirade about how I was a "drunk driver" and irresponsible for not being vaccinated. His explanation was, vaccinated people are "still spreaders" but a non vaccinated person is a "drunk driver". MY BODY MY CHOICE and a UROLOGIST should NOT BE LECTURING his patients families on a vaccine! Very unprofessional -- and his treatment is irresponsible as he makes patients with cancer wait 2.5 months just to be referred for treatment. NOT GOOD.

He treated myself and my handicapped, brain- injured adult son horribly. I left his office in tears after he made us feel like we wasted his time. He may be good with typical individuals, but he had little time nor tolerance for those with special needs.

Terrible. Assigned in GV Hospital to patient suffering stroke Saw on day 3 or 4 post stroke 10 min consult. Literally... ordered 1x void test. diagnosed as neurological bladder disorder,, ordered catheter for life, NEVER offered or discussed alternatives or options. Showed no empathy, care, concern with patient or family. Blew in and out like wind. Said nurses could change cath 1x month. Had additional f/u at 30 days. Same scenario. In. Out. No discussion of status or alternatives. Never ordered additional void test. He was clearly satisfied with status quo and offered no hope or plan. Last f/u was approx 50 days later. 2 min in ofc. Total joke. Then... patient had issues with leaking x3. 3 ER visits plus uti. Called Dr Landau office. Was told she was no longer a patient... really ??? Really ??? Do not use this guy... he should retire.. probably technically competent but doesn't project care and concern. Like an auto mechanic who changes parts but doesn't fix

Had urolift procedure done (I think). There was no change in the way I urinated. Basically said it was my fault for suggesting the procedure. In my opinion go elsewhere

I went to Dr Landau for a problem with excessive urination he explained my issues in easy to understand terms & how he wanted to proceed. He make me feel very comfortable during my visit with his sense of humor. That's the tool most Doctors forget to use when seeing (customers) patients

Dr. Landau was terrific, took plenty of time to make sure everything was clear, and treated me with respect. First rate!

Dr. Landau is an excellent urologist- he spent a good deal of time with me so that I understood my condition and the necessary steps to correct it. He has a wonderful staff who were caring and gentle. Great surgeon- and a nice guy, he is a credit to his profession.

Dr. Landau was very attentive to our mother's needs and condition. We had some concerns and paged him, he called back about 10 minutes and settled our concerns. He went further to meet us at the hospital and was integral in getting a plan of care together that suited our mother's health issues as well as being attentive to our concerns as a family. Thank you very much Dr. Landau!

Dr Landau is an exceptional urologist who took a lot of time with me to make sure i understood everything. Would recommend him.
