I’ve been going to Dr. Chitakki for 20 years and I highly recommend. She is a great listener and an even better doctor.

An amazing doctor who has helped both me and my daughter to improve our health therefore improving our lives. She takes the time to understand our issues and feelings on how our health issues affect us - just a great doctor to have on your side.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chitakki to family and friends. The staff is professional and caring. Unlike other offices where you may have a long wait to see the doctor, at Dr. Chitakki’s office you are often taken back right away. Dr. Chitakki is caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. She is extremely knowledgeable and someone I definitely trust. Many of her patients have been seeing her for many years which says a lot! Dr. Chitakki is an amazing physician with a wonderful bedside manner. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and at the same time makes you feel comfortable during the appointment. She takes her time during each appointment and reviews her recommendations, medications being prescribed, and side effects. She takes time to answer all of your questions and you will never feel rushed. Overall amazing physician!

Dont go here!! Dr. Chitakki and her staff don't care about your well-being. They have extremely poor customer service and bed side manner. If I could give her less than 1 star I would.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of compassion and care my mother received today just trying to see a doctor. She has symptoms that she had a minor stroke earlier this week and she needs to see a doctor and d the receptionist told her our next appointment is in a month. Are you kidding me?!?!?! What kind of care is that? They should have seen her immediately so that she could be referred to a specialist. I am furious and disgusted at the level of medical neglect. Dr Chitakki has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years. She takes time to listen and assess my concerns, and is happy to answer questions. I like being able to communicate with her via the MyUpDox portal. At the end of every visit, she describes what she's written about the visit so I know what my insurance company will see. She always has a friendly smile and calming demeanor. Her staff works efficiently and is helpful in scheduling appointments and providing paperwork (lab slips, etc.).

My wife and I have been to see Dr. Chitakki for about 15 year. She and her staff have always provided us Excellent service.

My family have been patients of Dr. Chitakki for well over 20 years and she is the best!!! We trust and respect her and she does the same for us. Truly a professional by treating the whole patient. She is family to us.

Dr. Ritu has been my primary care for 5+ years. She’s warm, friendly and caring. Her appointments are timely and provides the convenience of drawing blood onsite rather than making a separate visit to Labcorp. I will highly recommend her.

I am so sad to be writing this review as I had high hopes for this office, but I feel like I just got robbed. I was charged $241 to go over routine blood work from a physical. I went in May for an initial visit and a physical and everything seemed wonderful. When my blood work came back, the office called me at 9:00 asking me if I would come in to discuss the results. I was free that morning and made it in 30 minutes later for the 9:30 appointment they had. Dr. Chitakki let me know that my cholesterol levels were high and that I should cut back on eating read meat (I am a vegetarian) and to come back for more blood work in 3 months. 2 weeks later comes the bill for $241. I am not sure how something that a) could have been discussed over the phone and b) literally took 10 minutes of her time could cost this much. When I called to discuss the bill with confusion on how I could be charged so much for a consultation where I literally got no new information (and didn't even ask for the appointment) I was told that is the normal fee and that they couldn't help lower the cost. I will be finding a new doctor that cares more about the patient than the money they can take from them. I am a previous employer of Dr. Chitakki and was with her practice for over a year. Sadly, I have to rate 3 stars, simply because of the lack of care or consideration for me specifically. I was willing to work hard and treat each and every patient with the proper care, concern, respect, and best customer service, I can possibly give to the BEST of my ability. I can say, just about ALL of the patients there values, respected, and loved my attitude, my care, my effort to go above and beyond for each and every patient that I possibly could were all satisfied. The down side to this is, I was basically talked down upon to other employers both previously and present. I’ve also received a very nasty text from a previous employer there as well and felt very out of place and felt Dr. Chitakki did not really show compassion about it. Especially coming from some one whom was with her for several years and spoke so highly of her, and as did I. I never thought they had an issue with me until that text message. I also felt Dr. Chitakki did not care whether I stayed or left because I wasn’t her previous employer, whom was with her for several years but fulfilled each and every job requirement beyond measures. I did managerial duties, billing duties, insurance duties, and dealt with very nasty patients whom Dr. Chitakki would let me sit and fend for myself while she listened in her office. I felt attacked with those patients, and still felt i had to suck up to them even when they should have been spoken to by Dr. Chitakki. But she catered to the wrongful patients instead of her staff. I also felt over worked and underpaid for my work. I’ve been talked to about behind my back by Dr. Chitakki, and never really understood the reason why. It definitely opened my eyes and hurt my feelings, because i made sure i brought business and money into the office with no hesitation, although it was out of my scope of practice. I am sadden to have wrote this review because i had high hopes from Dr. Chitakki, but she let a great worker walk right out the door with no fight. Why?! Because i was not her previous employer of several years. I do hope that one day Dr. Chitakki can take a second and just think about her hard working employers before running them into the ground and only caring about her self and personal life ONLY! I do wish the practice the best of luck with all success. However, i do hope she cares more about her employers and compensate them for their hard work, time, and dedication, and weed out the patients who she defends because they make her practice look bad and her staff look like they don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes directly from the source Dr. Chitakki. I definitely miss all the wonderful patients there and think of them daily. I’ve never felt so much at ease and stress free after moving on from the practice although i didn’t want too i felt like i HAD to because i wasn’t being treated fairly, discriminated against when it came to speaking of better pay, due to all the work i was doing outside of my scope of practice for Dr. Chitakki’s benefit, simply because of my “age” and being talked down upon to others. I just wanted to write you to let you know about my visit today when I came in to get my depo shot. The two ladies (Sherri & Kelly) that helped with the actual appointment were very nice and I was extremely impressed with how thorough they were from beginning to end. They took the time to ask questions, read the packaging of the medication and refer back to the instructions down to the tiniest detail of how fast/slow the injection should be. I didn't even feel the needle. I've never had a bad experience at your office and usually it's just in and out. Which I am perfectly fine with but I thought you would like to know how professional, careful and precise both women were today. Dr. Chitakki has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. My sister and I love her. She has never let me down. She’s caring and never has rushed me through. She is a class act and would never go to anyone else. Great job, Doctor Chitakki!

I miss Dr. Chitakki very much. I would still be going to her if my insurance permitted. She is a very kind, compassionate, thoughtful person. She takes her time with you and make your feel that at time you are her only concern. I have recommended others to her and they love her.

Dr Chitakki has been my doctor for about 20 uears. She stays updated on the latest medical procedures and practices. I left an established firm to follow her to her private practice. She takes all insurances. Awesome family doctor.

Never had that happen before, with any health care professional. In recent years, Dr. C. has seemed more focused on rushing patients through, though I totally understand it's a business. I’ve been going to Ritu past 4 years and she and her staff have been very accommodating.

My experience with Dr Chitakki began over 15 years. I was having trouble with a cold and went to her former primary care facility. She happened to be assigned my case. My blood pressure was high and I tried to convince her it was the cold medicine that was causing my pressure to be high. Needless to say, my condition was chronic. I have been with her ever since. When she told me she was starting her own practice I said to her let me know when and where and I will follow her. Well, I was her first patient at her new practice. She is the most caring physician I have ever had. She takes the time to ask how am I really doing. Her staff have always greeted me with warmth and smiles. I have seen Monica through many hairstyles and DrChitakki through her pregnancy with her son. If you are looking for a rewarding long term relationship with your doctor, please consider making Dr Chittaki your primary physician. She also has a great network of speciality doctors when referrals are necessary. I needed a OBGYN for a health challenge and DrChitakki referred me to the best surgeon. Dr. Chitakki has been my doctor for about 10 years. Even though I have moved quite a distance from the Laurel area, I still have Dr. Chitakki as my primary care. She takes the time with me to discuss any issues I might have. Her staff, Monica in particular, has always extended herself to me. Dr. Chitakki has generously provided me with medication when I could not afford the required dosage. She wanted to ensure that my progress was never compromised. I appreciate all that she has done for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chitakki for the past six years and she never disappoints. She is professional , caring, thorough in her examinations and explanations, goes above and beyond to render care to her patients, and sees her patients on time. As a matter of fact, I never get a chance to read any of the magazines because I am seen on time. Dr. Chitakki is absolutely the best family physician!

I've been with Dr. Chitakki for 16 years. When she was at her previous location she made sure that the time she spent with you was personable. Even though she was under strick time constrains. Once she took the courageous leap to private practice the personalized quality of care increased 100 fold. Her front office staff is just as friendly and wonderful as her. I've have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to be seen. All 4 of my children adore her and my husband thinks she is awesome.

I have been with Dr. Chitakki for 17 years and she and her staff are fantastic! She has a small, personalized practice and she really takes the time to get to know her patients.

Dr. Chitakki is a awesome doctor!!! She been my PCP for over 20+ years with no complaints. She answer all my lengthly questions with out rushing me out of the door. Also, saved me $$$$ when I had a 30 day gap between health coverage.

I've been searching for a great doctor for a while and I am so glad that I came across Dr. Chitakki and her staff. I am able to call and get last minute appointments when needed, she doesn't overbook (most of the time I am the only person in the waiting room) and she doesn't leave you waiting for her in the exam rooms. She is personable, listens, and gives great explanations on what she is doing and why. I have been a patient of Dr. Ritu Chitakki for over 17 years. She has provided excellent medical care to me for preventive, minor and major health issues. She is thorough, knowledgeable and has a superb bedside manor. Each office visit I come with a list of questions or health concerns. She patiently listens and addresses each issue. At the conclusion of each visit, she summarizes the visit as well as my family and medical histories. I leave feeling confident in her medical advice. I love Dr Chitakki and her staff. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I am comfortable with talking to her about any an everything, whether it's something that involves my health or not. They always fit me in for my appointments, even when I need one asap. And plus I've been going to her for years and she's always taken great care o me :)

I would give her zero stars if I could. She is not a professional by any definition. My experience with this doctor has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Dr. Chitakki has been my doctor for approximately 8 years. I first had the pleasure of meeting her when she was at another location in Laurel and after one visit, I informed her that she was stuck with me. When we first met, I truly appreciated her warmth and compassion that she has displayed to me as a patient. This professionalism continued at her private practice, and was enhanced by her warm and friendly staff, convenient hours, and the ability to schedule last minute appointments.

As a new patient of Dr. Chitakki, I find her to be very thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She spends time really getting to know her patients and listens to concerns, focusing on preventative care as well as sick visits. The office staff is wonderful-very friendly and accommodating. I had the option to have routine lab work drawn right in the office for a minimal fee ,which was a huge convenience with my busy schedule. I would highly recommend Dr. Chitakki for primary care!

I've been with Dr. Chitakki for many, many years and referred several people to her. I love everything about her and her practice. They don't overbook, so there is little to no wait time, but when you truly need a same-day appointment they fit you in. She listens, she works with you, she's compassionate, and a good diagnostician. The entire staff is friendly and the office is clean (and quiet!). I consider her a true partner in managing my health.

I have been with Dr. Chitakki for over 10 years now and I love her friendly and jovial personality. She will always do her best to fit me in even if her schedule is tight. I never have had to wait more than 5-10 minutes once I sign in with her competent staff Monica, who is also a wonderful part of their team. Another thing i really like is that at each appointment, Dr Chitakki reviews your medical history to see if anything has changed, which is important as I age, because things do change.

You will find yourself subjected to her insufferable front desk staff, long-wait times so that you get 10 minutes of face-time with the doctor, and a condescending doctor that will order frequent unnecessary procedures for her own profit incentive. If you ask for an explanation of her charges, she will accuse you of insulting her expertise and will go on to demean your profession. Simply put, this is not a doctor that will care about you.

Dr. Chitakki is one of the best doctors I have had. In fact, when she left her previous practice to open her own practice, I, and my family members, followed her. She has a fantastic bedside manner and I love the way she goes over the notes of the current visit. This is especially good for older patients to hear what the doctor is putting into the visit notes. When I find a good doctor, I stay with that person. I will not be leaving this practice for a long time.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chitakki for over 15 years. Dr. Chitakki is very personable and warm, the services and attention given to me has always met the highest standard. I've been with Dr Chitakki for many years following her from a group practice when she decided to open her own office. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been with Dr. Chitakki for about 15 years now. Dr. Chitakki takes time to talk with you, not at you. She listens to you and never rushes you. Her smiling, caring way is real, not phony. Her staff is always efficient and very pleasant. I would highly recommend her to everybody!

I followed Dr. Chitakki from Laurel Lakes Primary Care to her new practice and find her to be a caring doctor and one who works with you on your health care. Doesn't pretend to have all the answers. Visited with Dr. Chitakki over 25+ years. She never rushed me through & answered all my questions. She is very knowledgeable & very concerned about my health. Just recently she helped me when I had a delay in getting my health coverage by not charging me the full amount for a medical visit & gave me a discount prescription card to have my medication refilled at a very low price.
